After a storm (two weeks ago) my solar storage stopped charging. When attempting to make a repair appointment, I was told that I'd have to wait 1.5 months because they "only have one Tesla technician that works in the (my) region." I very angrily accepted the appointment. Days later I am advised to request a quicker scheduling as I've spent over $100k with the company. I've been ignored, hung up on, placed on hold for an hour (before again being hung up on after the department closed 30 minutes before my immediate callback). DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ION. Go Tesla. Their service may not be much better (per Google reviews), but their equipment is great, and I've received more help from THEM during this matter than I have from Ion Solar. Now let's talk about the removal of the Powerwall for siding repair. I got a decent price for the work, but AGAIN had to wait a month for their one technician. Then, they didn't show up on the scheduled date!!! The icing on the cake is that it took me 3 weeks with multiple phone call arguments to GET MY REFUND (for work that they never completed)! You have been warned!!! Stay away from this company.

When we asked for a budget breakdown to turn into our insurance company, Shanco ignored us and proceeded to tell us to just pay. They were supposed to do roof, gutters, and screens. The insurance company even gave us an additional 3k to cover our fence. Well, Shanco, took all the money for a roof and gutters. In the end, we paid over 23k for a roof and gutters. Oh yeah, and if they tell you, youll get military discount, that's a bold lie. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, especially military. We asked other homeowners around us who was getting their roof done, they paid half of what we had to pay.

Longs story made much shorter, I am not likely to spend $30,000.00 on a solar energy system that will not run my house in an emergency. I should have kicked him out when the lead salesman came to my door with ripped clothing. That was my first impression and his efforts were DOA!
