I love coming here when I'm having a beach day! It is such a good snack after a long day at the beach. Their service is quick, there are so many flavors to choose from that also get rotated in and out occasionally. I also strongly appreciate that this place offers samples. It's hard to pick one when they all look so good but I also don't wanna have an unpleasant experience by buying a flavor I dislike. Therefore every time I come here I LOVE what I got! The workers are also so patient as I'm thinking about which flavor I want. There is outdoor seating with umbrellas but I usually bring it back to the beach with me. read more

Delicious ice cream with a view you can't beat! This shop is located right on Lake Worth Beach Peir, which is absolutely gorgeous and lively. If you haven't gone, it's worth a drive- best beach in Palm Beach. The ice cream itself if yummy! They have tons of flavor selections and are really nice about trying samples. The aroma will pull you into this place. You can smell the freshness of the the chocolate and desserts they make from the parking lot! Service wise, they have been consistent. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, and they do a good job of getting people in and out the door. There isn't much room in the store to enjoy the ice cream but they have plenty of outdoor seating. I bring family here every time when they come from out of town. Love it! read more

Kilwins is a mom and pop confectionary shop that was founded in 1947 in Petoskey Michigan. Now the company operates 123 stores in 22 states. This Kilwins was located in downtown Lake Worth for 10 years on Lake Avenue. Last year a rent increase forced a move and they are now in the historic Lake Worth Casino building on the beach. Owner Maria Matias may be sad about having to move but I think the new location is a better fit for them. What goes better than the beach and ice cream? Nothing! I came in after a stroll on the Lake Worth Pier. Around once a year I decide to have ice cream for dinner and this was that night. The thing that always hits you when you walk in to a Kilwins is the incredible smell of sugar. As I once heard a gentleman say "it doesn't smell to bad in here!" He was indeed correct. I would by a perfume of it if I could. The closest I have found is the vanilla scent from Bath & Body Works. Once your olfactory senses have been sufficiently primed it's time to shell out for the ridiculously overpriced confections. I got my staple of chocolate chip mint ice cream in a hand rolled waffle cone but you can also purchase chocolates and some entirely too tempting candy apples. My single scoop cone was $12! Watching the sun go down on the beach while sucking down delicious ice cream in the tropical Florida night, priceless. read more

I was visiting my family, I'm originally from the area but now live elsewhere. I decided to come here with my niece. She was hesitant, saying it was expensive. I thought that was silly, how expensive could ice cream be? $11 an ice cream cone?!?! The only cones available were the huge waffle cones, there were no other options - i much prefer cake cones, something small. I received a single scoop. I bought 3 of these for my family, at $11 each. How is this pricing and lack of choices reasonable? When I told my family, they said they're well aware of this ridiculous pricing and won't go there. Cozy shop right when you're leaving the beach. What's better than ice cream after an extremely hot day out on the sand?! I'll wait for it.... We had their delicious chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles and vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles in their waffle cones! The 4 stars are mainly because customers are not wearing masks. We were wearing ours but many were not. Their signs are put up and it's mandated as per Palm Beach regulations. Stopped in last night to purchase a pint of ice cream. No other customers in the store at 8pm on a Saturday night. Two young female employees behind the counter doing nothing. I asked for a pint of toasted coconut and she told me to take one from the freezer. I didn't want one from the freezer, I wanted one hand packed. She refused and told me that the freezer pint was made today. When we got home, we opened it and the top was crystallized. Definitely not fresh or perhaps not properly stored. we've been to several kilwins and normally love them. unfortunately not all of them have great people working. while trying to explain that the caramel apple was mushy, the girl at this location in Fl proceeded to argue over and over that the apples are fresh.... so basically even though I'm the customer and the consumer , I'm an idiot and must not know what I'm talking about. the young man here apologized but this young girl was going to be right no matter what. bad bad customer service you don't argue with customers. My husband, daughter and I were at the pizza place next door and the smell from Kilwins was amazing so I decided to get a turtle apple and some chocolate covered strawberries. When I walked in the girls finished their personal conversation before greeting me. I got my turtle apple which was amazing .. but the chocolate covered strawberries were seriously overpriced and old. The strawberries actually tasted old and the leaves were all withered. But, I have to say their ice cream is really expensive and I'm from NYCzz $6.15 for one scoop (look at picture) It was good, but idk if I want to pay close to $7 for a scoop of ice cream. And the owners should train their staff better on dealing with customers with food allergies, especially as an establishment that handles and processes nuts. Came here after dinner for my first time with family. As a first time customer I was horrified that the store owners son Mike was so rude and refused to make accommodations as one in our party has a nut allergy. We informed mike as we entered that they normally get a clean scooper and scoop from the bin underneath the main bin. He refused to do this stating that "each location is different and we don't do that here" and that all he could do is rinse a scooper for us and scoop from the same bin. When a staff member stated it was ok to use the fresh bin he began to shout that he couldn't do so and would get in trouble with the owners. While the one girl did try to help, mike was incredibly rude made no attempts to accommodate or apologize. Very rudely just moved on and charged us. Expecting a nice experience with my children, I Roberto Scungilli saw and tried what -looked- like a suitable place to get an ice cream treat. Two single scoops of ice cream in chocolate dipped cones was $18.00 plus. Ok, that is shock enough, but for sure, if it tastes twice as good as another ice cream, could it be worth it? In two seconds after draining my pocket, my daughter had an unhappy face. This is a girl who has had ice cream in dozens of states in America. She told me the ice cream tasted sour and did not at all taste even ok. She was too embarrassed to go back inside and say something. I brought the foul cone back to the counter to one of the two girls who was bereft of the ability to smile. I asked if I could return it she could switch it for another flavor due to the foul taste and I was told, "yes." Upon handing my daughter attempt number two for the second non smiling blank looking time she said "that will be $9.20." I said, "you just told me you could switch it from the sour one," and she said, "oh Im sorry I can't do that now, they are watching me on the cameras!" There we were, you can't tell a little kid no to her ice cream, so $27.00 and five minutes later, my kids had two -single scoop- ice cream cones! I personally ran a Häagen-Dazs, Ben & Jerry's and two fro-yo places, let me give you a hint about customer service. If a customer tells you there is something bad tasting and wrong with their food, happily switch it with a SMILE. This location is across the beach in the Lake Worth Casino plaza. There is a huge selection of sweet goodies for you to eat at the shop or to take home for later. Different flavors of fudge, ice cream, apples, chocolates, and brittles are all available for you to enjoy. After browsing around and figuring out what the world to get, I went for a scoop of cake batter and strawberry chunk ice cream. Oh my heaven! If I could eat this every day for the rest of my life, I would. It was fresh and delicious with each bite. It was nice to cool off after having some pizza next door and ending it with a sweet treat. We all know that Kilwins is a sweet tooth's candy store of dreams, but this particular location is very special because of the owner Wayne. He is ALL about customer service, and his staff follows suit. I wanted the Mud Fudge to send to my sister for a Christmas present and couldn't find it online or anywhere as it's more of a seasonal selection. He not only made a special batch for me, but his team prepared it for shipping. I am forever grateful and will be visiting the shop on Lake Worth Beach again and again. read more

Went to this place with my kids for an ice cream and some chocolates goodies . As you enter the fragrant aroma of waffle cones mixed with chocolates smell is amazing . We decided to try raspberry sorbet for me and my kids salted caramel chocolate and strawberry ice cream, the three flavors were really good and tasty but my favorite was salted caramel chocolate because the mix of flavors were just perfect . 'Ello chaps! Few things get a 5 star rating from this guy, but Kilwins always does. Kilwins is a specialty chocolate shop with roots in northern Michigan. Don and Kathy Kilwin started the company some time ago and later sold it. New ownership later grew the company with franchises in many states, sprawling from Michigan to Florida and out west to Colorado. Specialty ice cream and chocolates and all so delicious. Try them all! Their specialty is Mackinac Island (Michigan) fudge, which are offered in several flavors. (Tip: Fudge is not chocolate so don't eat large quantity of fudge in a single sitting or you'll be sitting elsewhere with a rumbly in the tummy). Many Kilwin stores create some of their delectable chocolate products in store. You can watch them in action making in-house fudge or other treats. NOTE: Ever want to know what's made in-house and what is shipped in? Just search on products for the Kilwins label. If it lists an address for that local store, then it was likely made there. If the Kilwins label lists a city of "Petoskey, Michigan" then it was likely shipped in - but still delicious. Just know Kilwins chocolate is a little more expensive than your ordinary Hershey bar - but the quality is so much greater and well worth it! read more

I come here for the sea salt caramel ice cream when I'm in town, and it's the best I've tasted anywhere from LA to New York. I try sea salt caramel ice cream everywhere I go, so far they have the best tasting by far!!! I believe the added chocolate chunks and enough sea salt makes the flavor perfect! read more
