My husband and I walked in this store a few weeks ago. A young lady who was behind the counter welcomed us with a big smile and offered us a sample. We bought some chocolates, cakes and a cookie. Returned to Norman Love Confections mainly to try the gelato I missed on my first visit. I went with the stracciatella and, while browsing, also picked up a blueberry muffin that caught my eye. For such a high-end shop, the pricing on their basic bakery items is surprisingly reasonable--the muffin was just $3.75--and it was very good. It's always fun coming in here. The space is beautiful, the chocolates and cakes are true works of art, and the staff is consistently pleasant and accommodating. The gelato, however, was just okay for me--not a standout--especially considering how many excellent gelato options there are these days. Ultimately, I see Norman Love as a go-to for gifts or when you need a visually stunning, special-occasion cake. read more

I had the pleasure to visit this new location and it didn't disappoint. Norman Love confections is a chocolate salon that was first opened in 2001 on the west coast of Florida but is now opening locations in palm beach. The location is new renovated and has a modern esthetic just like his confections. The dome cakes are exquisite and per the website description "too beautiful to eat" is definitely accurate lol My daughter wanted to try some chocolates and I wanted a little afternoon pick me up. When asked what the store clerk recommended he told me to try the "Down in Mexico" which was espresso and Mexican hot chocolate. It was so rich and delicious but not too heavy. My daughter enjoyed a few chocolates including the passion fruit flavor which was the perfect combo of fruits and dark chocolate. Definitely will be back to get a cake read more

I met the owner of the company this past summer at the Fancy Food show in NYC. I was drawn to the displays due to the colors of the chocolates. So incredible declines. Norman Love who is a pastry chef from Fort Meyers, FL was the corporate executive pastry chef for the Ritz-Carlton from 1988-2001. Norman Love founded NLC with Sarasota-based pastry chef Judy Limekiller. They did indeed create premium choolates for hotels, resorts and restaurants, but then switched dover to retail. They have 4 stores - Naples, Estero, Delray Beach, Fort Myers and a new one will be joining in Boca town Center. I visited the one at Delray Place on Federal Highway and Linton Blvd. My college age daughter was with us and had to get to individual chocolates and a praline tower! Both simply beautiful. The place is beautiful as well and I will have to come back to try their different coffees and ice creams as well.I actually don't have chocolate a lot but tried their dark chocolate bit and it just melted in your mouth! In February 2002, USA Today named Ganache Chocolates, now Norman Love Confections as one of the top 10 artisan chocolate companies in the country. They are currently in soft opening. They are offering 20 percent off the entire month of September for their grand opening. I tried the chocolate chip cookie and coconut bar and both were amazing! The cookie was huge and I could only eat a quarter. The dark chocolate coconut bar was my favorite, think an elevated Almond Joy. There are a few tables inside, a counter with high top chairs along the window, and a few more tables out front. Everyone was super friendly and eager to introduce me to the brand. They have a selection of pastries, ice cream, chocolates, fancy desserts, and chocolates all made in Fort Myers. Prices are expensive but the ingredients are of the highest quality. Pretty store, chocolates look very pretty. Expensive, but if you buy more, they come down slightly in price. We bought a 10 piece box of truffles. The chocolates themselves look very beautiful, and the box they come in also is very pretty. Makes a great gift. But I wasn't overly impressed with the chocolates themselves, honestly. They were fine, but that's it. I can get much better chocolate other places (Laderdach is still my favorite) for less money. Also had 2 coffees. One was a regular iced cappuccino and one was called a nutty Irishman . Cappuccino was fine, absolutely nothing special. Nutty Irishman was pretty overwhelmingly sweet and rich. Pretty bad, really. I'm glad I tried it, but definitely don't see going back again . read more

Went to the Boca Raton location on 8/16/25 and the two young ladies working there were so accommodating and wonderful. They made great recommendations, gift wrapped my various selections and upsold me on a few items without being pushy or over the top. Great customer service. Ended up spending $60 on chocolates. lol. I purchased a large assortment of items from the new Norman Love store and most of what I bought was very good. The cookies were the best item and the Blondie was my least favorite as it was just too sweet. Another item that my friends and I didn't care for was a small caramel and chocolate cake and this had no balance or interest and was a one note sugary boring overly creamy disappointment. Truffles were fine and this really is subjective and a matter of preference because there were many different flavors and I enjoyed a few but found others too sweet. Another cake (I believe cost $45) was very good and this had a good balance of ingredients that worked well and it wasn't the least bit cloying. I also had ice cream and it was excellent. The staff was great and patient and very helpful and the store while nice is a little spartan and could use a little more decorating. I will go back for the cookies and another cake. read more

Just got a hot chocolate and it was probably the worst hot chocolate ever. Pure water no flavor at all. I assumed that if I got a hot chocolate from a legit chocolate place I would be able to taste Chocolate , not just water! Very disappointing ! read more
