Been going to the place since I was a kid. Every time I go in, the owner remembers me and its very touching! I went a while back to get some supplies and at the register I was handed a flyer. The store was doing a give away for those affected by cancer and chemotherapy. All you had to do was nominate the individual. Super sweet seeing a small business do something like this! Gave them a four only because you can't find much in this store. A lot of the hair I use isn't sold at this location so it's a bit frustrating but apart from that, the staff is always friendly and I never feel uncomfortable going here! read more

I've been coming to this beauty supply for over 20 (different openers back then). I purchase a human hair ponytail this morning for that cost me $80 - the string that holds that ponytail together has a little clasp and typically the string doesn't come out of the clasp because there is usually a knit that holds it together and they wouldn't take it back, trying to show me how to work around it and trying to convince me it wasn't broken, are you kidding me!! Yes wear them all the time, so wouldn't I know if it was broken or not and how to install it?? That is poor customer service, i purchased this morning, so i should have received a refund. Hidden little gem in the corner of a busy supermarket plaza, this place has a great variety of eyelashes and for a decent price. Initially went in for just one pair of eyelashes to use for the evening but came out with 5 pairs of eyelashes, eyelash glue, hair gel, cuticle nippers, and then some! The black girl walking around is attentive and the Asian lady behind the counter was very friendly. Highly recommended for your beauty supply needs. read more

The place has a lot of hair, skin and make up products at a reasonable price. There is also a beauty salon hidden in the back. The wigs are expensive and not a very big selection. PLEASE be aware of the boxed hair dyes. I bought a box of Clairol hair dye yesterday and when I opened the paper with the gloves a lot of dust fell out. I proceeded to mix my color and Magic dye to the activating bottle. I shook the bottle once and lightly hit the bottom of the bottle with my calm, the bottle cracked and all the dye began to spill all over the place. This was an EXTREMELY old bottle that's been on the shelf a long time and they still sold it when they were probably aware of its expiration date. I looked on the bottle and box and there was no expiration date. Examine your packages and boxes before you buy. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to discern if the bottle inside was old. I will not be going back to Kim's. That's my second and last bad experience with them. read more

I was getting my hair in Marley twists for the first time and the girl who helped me was very patient, attentive, and really helped me find what I was looking for. They didn't have exact brands of hair I wanted but helped me get close to it. The owners were really nice and sweet also.
