    Tiger Fresh Milk!!!!

Kim's Teahouse is my favorite place to go for a pick me up! The staff especially Paulina is always so bubbly and welcoming!! I usually order boba when I come and I get the Tiger Fresh Milk and it is hands down the best boba I've ever gotten. I started going weekly to get my boba fix!! The store is always clean and smells amazing like the fresh donuts made daily. Bathrooms are aesthetic and clean and overall Kim's Teahouse is one of my favorite places in Gardnerville!!

Not the best option to stop during our roadtrip but I suppose it could be worse. Nothing tasted fresh, and we also watched them simply microwave the breakfast sandwich- very disappointing. The drinks, although they don't look too horrible in the pictures they have posted in store, were nothing more than straight syrups. So for the price, not worth it. And the service, not much to say. I think they said hi and that was about it. They sort of looked bothered that we took too long to decide on our order.

Many types of teas and bobas available for purchase and having the pictures is nice visual

This cute pastry shop is inside a strip mall, parking is easy. Their tea selection for iced teas and bobas is extensive. They also had a large selection of donuts for purchase. I always like to try something a bit different where they have it and here they had a deep fried rolled tortilla. It was not overly sweet but it was still tasty and it had a nice crunchy consistency. If you're not a person who likes over the top sweet this might be the pasty for you. The donut were tasty and so was the tea. The shop was cutely decorated inside and I can't wait to go back to try some more items.

We needed donuts for Thanksgiving morning and this place didn't disappoint. Walked in to fresh donuts with more than plenty of options to pick from. The kiddos loved the fruity pebble donuts and we loved the maple bars. This place reminds me of a traditional donut shop. I went with a classic drip coffee. The employee was really nice and patient with us as we picked our selections. Lots of options too for tea! Don't miss out on this great local donut shop!

Amazing donuts! Not sure why the ratings are so bad ! We stopped by while visiting the in-laws here and they recommended these donuts. They compared them to Randy's donuts and we decided to try it on our way out of town . They are totally worth trying! They were fresh and delicious.

The first time I ever came here was with my crush on our first date, November 19th, 2022. He ordered a soda, and I ordered a kiwi fruit tea. It's been a year now, December 1st will be our first year anniversary, and we plan to celebrate it here. This amazing gem has always had a place in my heart throughout all the times I've came here. Many say the drinks here are too sweet, but to me it's just perfect. I used to order the kiwi boba, however I became a basic person and fell in love with the Thai Boba tea. The lady who takes and makes our orders is the sweetest and we love talking to her. The drinks are VERY quick to come out, I never waited more than 2 minutes to get our drinks and doughnuts. The TeaHouse is always calm, quiet, and clean with many open seats to choose from (due to being so underrated). I love y'all, and my Bf and I will never stop returning

Maple Bar donuts a classic of course.

I usually stop here on Sundays . I am always greeted by the staff which is pretty good since I am sure they are here early . I am not a morning person so it impresses me. They donuts are great , Coffee isn't bad. There is a little breakfast burrito I will get and the breakfast sandwiches looks great as well.

What a cool place?…read more Whenever we are out and about and checking out new things, we always try to find some good local coffee. We took the kids to Genoa and after wanted to warm up a bit. This coffee place has always been one that we've seen whenever we've driven out of town to go to SoCal and always said "we need to check this place out someday". Super glad that we finally did, I got a peppermint latte and the wife got a toffee latte. They even have locally made ice cream and the kids enjoyed chocolate brownie, and cookies and cream. The lattes were both great flavored and really well made with beans brewed from Old World Coffee (Reno) beans. Which is our favorite roaster in the area. Honestly with our travels out of state and internationally, we found that Old World has the best roasted beans around. There's plenty of space in the main part of the coffee shop and a side room with a community table and even an area for kids to play and read books. I wish we had a good coffee place like this in the Sparks area. This will definitely be a staple when we're in town.

I can see that this would be a good place for reading, writing letters, or working on any writing project. I liked that it was an independant and not part of a large chain. I'll continue to give them my business when in the area.

Having it in store is wayyyyyyyyyy better! I did the ultimate combo which comes with onion rings and Mac and cheese on the chicken sandwich and man! This combo is undefeated! The combo just goes! This meal is very filling and super fresh while big chicken is fast food it doesn't feel like it while eating it. The flavor and the freshness leaves you wanting nothing! Along with the meal I had a very refreshing watermelon refresher and it balanced being a juice with being a refresher perfectly! I typically can't do to much juice as it's sweet but this refresher was just that refreshing! Typically at fast food restaurants you get young inexperienced workers and it sometimes shows with their lack of customer service skills not this location had the privilege of connecting with two young ladies that helped us decipher the menu and offered recommendations they were very personable and friendly. The restaurant is new and you can tell but it's very nice I can't remember if they had background music going but if not that's the only thing I would add as it is one of those come and go places but some people sit and talk and some nice tunes or a game on could help. Highly recommend checking it out

Those were my only take aways from this experience. The sandwich itself was good. My kids enjoyed their food, so that's a win for me. I would be open to trying other items on their menu in the future. It's pricier compared to other fast food chicken dining options in the area, but we'll give it another try next time we're in Minden.

And we brought some Bay Area friends with us. We also came in mid-week to avoid any crowd potential. Our evening began at the bar with a round of Picon Punch, the official drink of the State of Nevada. I first thought that this was a drink that you only ordered once, but this small glass of goodness actually grew on us. After closing the bar bill and looking at all the branded merchandise, it was off to the main dining room. We chose the Basque Family Style side of the menu, which at the end of the evening resulted in number of take home containers. Our 4 choices were Basque Chicken, Fish, Lamb Shoulder, and Lamb Chops. Those came with Vegetable Soup, Salad, Beef Stew, Beans, French Fries, Bottle of Red Wine, Coffee, and Ice Cream. for the Table. These inclusive choices were priced just south of $40 and that's what the bill was at the end of the evening, as there were no extras needed. OK, the included wine was a little on the sweet side, but we didn't see the need to "upgrade" as we were too busy concentrating on the food. It was all good, especially the Soup and the French Fries. The only regret was not being here on the night they served Huckleberry Ice Cream, but our Vanilla or Pistachio Almond was good enough. JT Basque is family generation owned, and we certainly felt welcome and well taken care of. The rustic decor was also cool, as was the happy energy in the dining room. We promise to come back and not be strangers.

Why is this THE ONE when it comes to Basque dining? Well... It's steeped in history in a way you can feel from the moment you step onto the wooden sidewalk out front. You'll see it on the walls, hear it in the conversations, and taste it in the food. This is simply a special place. You'll feel truly at home, and that's because the same family has operated it for countless generations, passing down legendary hospitality like a family heirloom. From friendly greetings in the "lobby" to the homey vibes and warm servers, you'll love every moment. Doesn't hurt that the food is delicious and plentiful. Everything is made from scratch with a lot of love, and each dish is huge and hearty. Lamb chops and lamb shoulder steaks are always A+ but be sure to order the desired temp because they don't always ask. Steaks are solid too. Same tip as above. And for all three, don't forget to get them smothered in whole cloves of roasted garlic. Personally I usually can't say no to sweetbreads at a Basque spot, and that's the case here as well. They're served in a rich, garlicky and well seasoned gravy, studded with red and green peppers and whole cloves of garlic. It's the perfect dish to use up the extra bread because you won't want to leave a drop. Make sure you bring a couple bucks to leave up on the ceiling! The bartenders can show you how to make em stick. And of course, have a picon punch!
