We recently bought a used RV and used it for a trip from Edmonton to Seattle and back. This was one…read moreof the RV campgrounds that we stopped at on the way back to Alberta. The price was pretty reasonable and the grounds are very well taken care of. Many people have permanent sites here but they also have man sites available for people to book. There is a man made chlorinated pond near the middle of the park and a creek that circulates the water around the park so you can the sound of rambling creek from most sites. I believe you can also go swimming in the pond. The only issue we had with the pond was it was a bit difficult to navigate the park from our site to the washroom/shower building in the night especially since we weren't too familiar with the layout. A few accessible footbridges that cross the creek would be appreciated I think especially by those with mobility issues. Otherwise you may have a long walk to get your site. There is also a golf course attached to the park but we didn't have an opportunity to try it our or look at it. I heard that there was a putting green that park users could access for free though. The only drawbacks to the park is its proximity the the railroad tracks and the highway. They are both very close to the park. Close as on one side of the park so you have highway noise and train noises. If you are a light sleeper can't sleep with background noise then you may want to bring some ear plugs. We counted about 4 trains in one hour the night we were there. I am not sure how many more went by that night as the noise doesn't bother me much and I can sleep through about anything.

Everyone was super friendly and we really appreciated the course booklet they gave us. We were able to go out as a twosome and had very little wait time. My wife and I stayed one night prior to a week stay at a local dude ranch. The dude ranch…read morerecommended the resort. Checkout is at 11:00am and we were schedule to get picked up by the dude ranch shuttle van a 2:00pm so we planned to enjoy the resort for a few hours. When making the reservation and when checking in, we were assured that they would they would store our luggage behind the front desk. Upon checking out we were told they could not do that due to liability reasons so here we are stuck for 3 hours babysitting. They suggested we leave our luggage unattended in the corner of the lobby - who in the right mind would consider that?! Will certainly tell the dude ranch not to recommend the resort for other guests. Not the service you would expect from a resort of this caliber.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and very welcoming. We golfed one day with two young local guys. They were so helpful on the course, which was in impeccable shape, and every hole was more beautiful than the last. We gambled a little bit and actually won! We will definitely be back.

The combo pack includes a mini golf course, a bumper car ride and a petting zoo/park. There didn't seem to be anything that set any of these attractions apart from others in the area that are more moderately priced. The golf course was challenging enough and well shaded, which was essential on the hot day. The animals included alpacas, donkeys, rabbits and mini horses. The bumper cars were interesting as they had a type I'd never seen before that could get decent speed. So while I don't feel ripped off by any stretch, if price is a concern for you, other places may better suit your budget.
