Kimchi Mart is so interesting to me. I love the variety of soups and sauces and types of sping and egg rolls. There is a lot to choose from. I happen to love bok choy and they have several types. I bought some dry noodle soups, egg rolls and bok choy. I enjoyed the Japanese miso soup tonight and it is delicious. I was tempted to buy some unique chips but I stopped myself since I am trying to eat healthier. This store fascinates me. I will definitely be back. Oh, and the cashier was so sweet. read more

We stopped by to pick something up and to see what "big changes" had been made. I read that there was going to be a Food Court which it looks like it will be on the right side of the store. Have been here many times and can't believe I have never done a review. Love trying new items and finding what I need for my favorite Asian recipes. This Kimchi mart is a little smaller that the first one I visited but is still packed with lots of goodies. Sometimes it's a little overwhelming with the multitude of options for the same thing and staff isn't always available or that helpful in deciphering what to get so that can be trial and error until you find your favorite brand. On my last visit the prepared food section has really stepped up their game. We tried the fish spring roll and it was fresh and filling and the chili sauce was very nice. read more

My mom's boss would make Chinese Meatballs with a brown sauce. I searched the aisle and couldn't find it. My daughter loves coming here to pick up her favorites.. I bought a package of wonton wrappers for crab Rangoon. Megan told me that they make really good kimchi. The staff is friendly and greets you when you enter. Kimchi mart is my go to for all my yummy cravings. I crave their pickled daikon almost every other week. I always make sure to pick up their bulgogi and spam onigiri. I always get sushi on Wednesday (usually because of the Publix special) but I decided to switch it up, and let's just say this blew my expectations! Kimchi mart has sooo many food options that it's actually overwhelming when going in. It's a great Asian grocery store and I highly recommend stopping by if you haven't before. The sushi however is new to my knowledge and it is fantastic!! They have a bunch of variety for rolls and they have rolls varying from 4.99 to 14.99 in terms of variety size and price. I absolutely loved the chef special (I wonder if it rotates how often??) and it was $6.99 and it was fresh eel rolls and salmon rolls. I also got a roll that was $8.99 that was salmon rolls and tuna rolls. The fish inside each roll is a generous amount and the rice and whole roll itself is very fresh. Absolutely delicious rolls! I cannot wait to stop by for fresh sushi again soon! read more

First time I've ever been to this Kimchi Mart and I was thoroughly impressed with the size and the amount of products the had inside. I first noticed the Sushi Bar, my dad who is a former sushi chef of 20+ years complimented the rolls they had. Fresh Kimbap was being placed and the price wasn't bad in my opinion. My favorite part is how they put pictures of the item along the price above so you can match pictures with the price. I love that concept! One of my favorite asian/Korean grocery stores in south Florida. Affordable prices. I loooove their sushi selection and delicious onigiris. They also sell the viral fruit ice cream via 3-pack for about $15 I believe. This location is also nearby from my relative so any time I visit her, I usually stop by here. They have some ramen that is rare to find. It is easy to shop with ready cook food. They have some in store kitchen prepared these food. Fresh veggies can be found here too. We also picked up the Nori and then we were looking for ELL sauce but the one they had has msg. I will be making my own Ell sauce the ingredients are mirin, sake , sugar and soy sauce, all purchased here. . This store has prepared foods , soba ,frozen foods and even nato . I liked the selection of beers and sake and all kinds of drinks . So many choices of deserts, snacks and veggies . I like that they also have bowls , plates and all kinds of utensils. I've been to Kimchi Mart countless times and I don't even remember if I've ever reviewed them. I love this local Asian market. They have EVERYTHING!!! Noodles, snacks, candy, dim sum, condiments, fresh produce, interesting eats, chopsticks, cookware, stoneware, and just everything!!! I love coming here for my specific favorites: dipping ramen, fresh ramen noodles, udon noodles, frozen har gow dumplings, Asian spices/seasonings, shrimp chips, dumplings, ube anything, condiments, snacks and the occasional new dishes/platter finds. They opened up a newer location in Hollywood and that store is bigger and better but too far. This one does the job and they are always getting cool new stuff. I love just browsing here to see what cool new find I can snag. I've met the owner a few times and he's really super nice. I convinced him to get the Sun brand fresh ramen noodles because they are simply THE BEST!!! He did better and found some fancy Tsukemen Noodles & Soup Base and Jiro Style Garlic Shoyu Ramen!!! Oh. Em. Gee. We are obsessed with dipping noodles and can't find it fresh in South Florida. The Tsukemen is the closest thing to dipping ramen and it's legit. My daughter loves ramen and this is her favorite. The only place we've had fresh dipping ramen is in Los Angeles in Sawtelle at Tsujita LA Artisan Noodles. There is always a line here...always!!! So freaking good! Kimchi Mart is the best and they have such a variety of items for Asian cooking and then some. If you haven't checked them out, do yourself a favor and go! Had to update my review because Kimchi Mart had a lil makeover! After all this time, Kimchi Mart still has my heart. They added more aisles full of goodies & specialty items plus their frozen section also got an upgrade. They have all the meats you can dream of for KBBQ or hot pot at home and fun specialty ice creams such as macapuno ube swirl ice cream (which I haven't seen in the longest!) You could easily spend a while browsing and picking up things to put into your cart. Did I mention they added a spot with hot food & boba? Sharing the same area, they have a Korean BBQ in a cup spot is call Kup Bop & the boba spot is call Dragon K. Of course I had it try it on my last visit- I got the Honey Dew milkshake from Dragon K and the beef bowl from Kup Bop. The Honey Dew shake was pretty good but a little on the sweet side and only came in one size. I think it was also almost the same price for the beef bowl which was $7.99. For the boba, you pay at the stand but for Kup Bop, you pay at the register of Kimchi Mart. The beef bowl from Kup Bop was actually really good! Despite being called Kup Bop, it was served in a rather large-ish bowl, which I thought was a good bang for your buck. The bowl comes with your choice of either beef or pork, cut up carrots, zucchini, an egg, all on a bed of rice. Kimchi Mart is my favorite Asian market in the Broward area. It's always super clean and well-stocked, and I love the high quality produce and large freezer section. They have a bunch of foods prepared in-house too, including kimchi (theirs is my favorite), kimbap, and various banchan. Prices are very reasonable, and they offer a rewards program where every 100 points equals $1 off. It seems that they've reorganized a bit since my last visit, which has made it even easier to get around the store. It's hard to find asian markets around miami, so when i found this i was definitely skeptical, but honestly the place is great! They have a wide array of different asian snacks and meat, as well as normal grocery store items, i recently got their kimchi and it was incredibly fresh and delicious, which is surprising for prepackaged food. I was surprised at what Kimchi Mart had to offer. Most small markets don't have such a large selection. I found every thing I was looking for including the short grain, quick cook, brown rice grown in California. The glass noodles with wood ear mushrooms in the prepared food were delicious. I would pick up a package anytime for lunch. The snow peas and shitake mushrooms were fresh and descent priced. The brown rice was just around 50.00 but that is close to what I've paid and I haven't been able to find any at FoodTown supermarket. The staff were friendly and enrolled me in the Kimchi Mart program. I'm just happy to discover another place for items that I use often. How did I not know this was around? I'm flabbergasted! I usually go to Thai World and the Indian grocery store next door and never saw this until last weekend. Anyway, while in the area, we decided to stop at this oriental store and check out their goodies. Consider me surprised when I saw how large this store was. I'm not just talking about size, I'm talking about diversity of products as well. We went aisle by aisle, and each aisle seemed more intriguing the past one. When it seemed like we were going to finally pay, imagine my surprise when I found them. The elusive Kit Kat bars! The ones in practically every flavor possible! My friend, Krys P., recently introduced these to me and I've afraid to say it, but I think I'm addicted. I've been stalking websites, debating which flavors to try, and well, they have some at Kimchi Mart. That and large packs of strawberry Hello Panda. I'm beyond a fan. I'm ecstatic. That and the staff is super friendly. They helped us out by answering questions, and well, we even ended up getting some durian which isn't exactly common around these parts. Kimchi market is one of those places you don't know you need in your life until the first time you go there and realize what you've been missing! On the corner of the plaza, it is very easy to find from the street and the lot has a nice amount of parking. On the inside, basically anything Asian you may need, you will find. They have many different things here that ranges from food to snacks to cooking utensils and supplies! One isle is dedicated to snacks and drinks that are fun for the whole family and ages! They have a section with different types of bread that have red bean filling or even just butter that is amazing! The staff here is always friendly and the prices are always a steal when it comes to what they sell and the amount you get! My only concern is that they don't always have the items I am looking for because it seems once they sell out they don't restock many of the items, making it annoying to find something I like and then never see it again. A mixed Asian woman on Tiktok cooks so many amazing dishes and she always mentions where she gets her ingredients from. Now granted she doesn't live here but she gave me an idea of where to go. I instantly went on Yelp and searched the Asian markets near me. Of the markets that I have been to, this has been my staple market to frequent. The selection is plentiful and the vegetables are always fresh. I have always loved Napa cabbage but getting it from Publix is sometimes hit and miss. It is always fun to go into a new asian market/store to see what kind of items they have. I've never been to one in the Pines area so we stopped by. I was shocked to see that they had a korean/boba stall to order hot foods. I was also impressed to see that they had already cooked-ready to eat foods already prepared. I was excited to try their fish cake and kimchi cucumber - but to my disbelief it wasn't the flavors I was looking for. The store is quite small. But we also found sushi grade tuna in the freezer section! Some other good finds were: Mamasita's Tocina Mix and Gochujang Shrimp Cracker chips - these were really good. A very much needed asian grocery store in this area. They have more than just Korean groceries; but also a lot of Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipino household items and brands. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I love it when I manage to snag some Korean fried chicken. Always need to pick up some soju and kimchi as well as other Banchan they make. They sell the meats needed for a kbbq as well as pre mixed marinade. I marinate the kalbi/bulgogi overnight in a ziploc bag, cook the following day via air fryer, pair with their fresh kimchi and Banchan over rice. Then I make kimchi fried rice with the leftovers for the following day. Make sure to investigate the aisles closely because there are so many gems you might miss! They haven't had nongshim potato noodles in a while but I think it's a national shortage. If you do get to try them, I love pairing with Sriracha, chili oil, coconut milk and Lime (you can find all these at kimchi mart as well). This is the best Asian market I've been to outside of SF or LA. Certainly the best one I've been to in MIA. Nicely sized store, well organized and well stocked with everything I'm looking for to cook Korean or Japanese food. The store is really clean, spacious, and well-lit. Some highlights are a huge selection of fresh noodles, the best peeled garlic which stays good FOREVER, well priced ginger and other aromatics, good home-made fish cakes, and fresh thinly sliced frozen meat for hotpot or bulgogi.
