one of the hairs i noticed after peeing lol

i wish i had better pictures of my room. however the pictures i see dnt do justice, im assuming they recently remolded bc our room was so nice fresh clean and aesthetically pleasing. i did find a few hairs in the bathroom but hey thats better than piss or poop not being properly cleaned up. when you walk i. it gives historic vibes but as soon as you go up to your room it gives modern vibes! a lot of times in citys the hotels are so small but this hotel had more than enough space/breathing room.

Review: Kimpton Hotel, Baltimore We stayed in both a king room and a suite -- both were great, though the suite was definitely our favorite (wish it had a bathtub, though). Our stay got off to a rough start because the first room we were given was really dirty -- mismatched yellow towels, random hairs in the bed (which we found while checking for pests), and lots of dusty spots that should have been cleaned more thoroughly. Thankfully, the staff was responsive and moved us to a different room, which was much better. Once settled, we appreciated the comfortable setup and dog-friendly vibe inside the hotel. It's a sensible place for traveling with pets -- inside feels safe and calm -- but outside can feel a little dodgy, especially at night. The in-room amenities and coffee/tea setup were just okay, and we didn't get to try the evening wine reception. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor -- you can take the elevator or a set of stunning (but steep and possibly slippery) marble stairs. I recommend the elevator. Security is visible, which was reassuring -- one guard even had to step in when someone bothered us outside. Walking dogs in the area isn't ideal, and the second-floor lobby setup also makes deliveries a little awkward, so it helps to coordinate with the front desk and drivers. Valet parking is a bit tight with limited space out front, but overall, the hotel is very convenient if you're heading to events at the downtown arena.

This hotel is very very beautiful. Also very close to the harbor so you could go sightseeing without walking too far. This hotel is very clean very prestige. The marlin the decor everything about it is beautiful. Customer service was great. The rooms was clean had big beautiful windows I cannot complain. The price for the room was decent. It was an overly priced and my favorite part in the afternoon they gave you complementary wine for an hour. That was a plus for me I had a wonderful stay.

This is a beautifully styled hotel! The 1st floor/ground floor is very grand and has a few sitting areas and a restaurant. The lobby is on the 2nd floor, which is accessible via the large opulent staircase or the guest elevators. The 3rd floor has the banquet halls. We lucked out and got a room on the 12th floor near the elevators. The room was spacious with plenty of lighting. However, there was only one small trash can for the entire room, and it was located in the bathroom. overall the room seemed kinda bare, but it did contain a workstation desk, an extra sitting chair, and wall to ceiling mirror. Oh, and the air conditioner stopped working the next morning, but overall the room was clean and the bedding was surprisingly comfortable. Overall, the hotel has a very grand fabulous boutique-look and the venue is spacious. Valet parking is also readily available out front, but you'll likely have to go inside to get the attendant's attention. I like the option to either charge the valet parking to your room, or pay at the attendant station-which is what I opted to do. Check-in and check-out were seamless and courtesy, and the housekeepers, the doormen, and the car attendants were all very amiable and professional. Pro tip: you have to quickly swipe your room key in and out of the slot to work the elevators. Its a bit tricky, but you'll see what I mean!

I have no idea how this hotel is 4.5 stars! It's 3 at best. There was so much going on when we walked into the building. Lots of maintenance (not routine) and fixing up. The elevators weren't working so we had to use the service elevator. The night staff seemed frazzled maybe due to the disarray of the hotel. This was a Sunday evening. We were checked into an ADA room (not my preference nor was it needed). I've stayed at other Kimpton Hotels and have always enjoyed them, so I was really looking forward to our stay here. Perhaps my hopes were too high? It left much to be desired and I did not feel it was worth the money nor the star rating.

We stayed three nights at Hotel Monaco. The hotel is housed in a gorgeous, historic building amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Baltimore. Our room needed some TLC; however, it was spacious, quiet and private. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and wine hours, as well as the beautiful gathering space. The in-building restaurant (B&O Brasserie) is an incredible dinner option. We would stay here again.

Stayed on the 12th floor city view for a wedding. Very interesting architecture in an old building....lots of marble; just beautiful! We had a great time and really enjoyed the building; love the spacious rooms, which were very clean. Conveniently located close to the inner harbor and not too far from other Baltimore attractions like Canton and Fells Point. Only 8 minutes from Harbor East no and my favorite restaurant- BarOne. Con- No in-room coffee/tea options - you need to go to lobby which has it available from 7am (or close to) onward

Blood stains on sheets. Manager refused to help do anything regarding this
    Brian D.

Used to be one of - if not my favorite hotel in Baltimore, but it has slipped dramatically. Management is awful. I was given a room with blood stained sheets, and Management did nothing about it except make false promises. Would consider staying here again when the incompetent Kumar Dangel is gone. All he managed to do was lie and make a situation worse.

Bug found in our bed with my 1yr old THE NEXT MORNING!

For our elopement reception cocktail party, we wanted to give our guests a taste of Baltimore's charm--and we knew from the start that Woodberry was the perfect place to do it. The event space alone is gorgeous, with the quintessential exposed brick and bistro lighting, making decor easy to simply add to the vibes. Jolanta also was so helpful in encouraging us to hire a photographer and music for our event that were both affordable and really added to the party. Our guests raved about the food, and we loved having local Baltimore craft beers as well as 2 custom cocktails to make our event really feel special to us. We cannot stop thinking about how amazing our event went--we will cherish these memories forever! Thank you Woodberry for giving us the night of a lifetime!

I knew I had nothing to worry about because they would take care of all the small things and execute the vision for a beautiful wedding day! The food was incredible and the atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for. Woodberry is breathtaking and needs very little decoration, and my guests had nothing but good things to say. My personal favorites from the evening was the charm city heat wave cocktail, the ribeye with bernaise sauce and the desserts. The entire day was immaculate, but what really made it special is the event staff were all so kind and excited for us and complementing the space and the florals, and we got the impression that they really wanted to be there and cared about our celebration. all I have to say is thank you, thank you!

It can be completely hit or miss depending on who your bartender is. And last night I witness a truly disrespectful interaction between my friend who is a WOC and one of the bartenders. I understand having a limited drink menu, but each time my friend asked for a recommendation she was responded to as if she had just spit in that woman's face. The final straw was when my friend said, "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with most of these drinks. What do you have that is sweet?" asking for a recommendation. The bartender looked at her and said "sugar" then rolled her eyes so hard I'm surprised they didn't get stuck in the back of her head. I understand being over your job, but my friend did nothing wrong. Was not rude, and in return got spoken to like a child. I don't know what the chip on this person's shoulder was, but if you absolutely HAVE to to be vile to everyone you speak to, try a back of the house position because you are actively damaging your bar's reputation.

There was a preset menu for cocktails, mocktails, wines, and beer. Some of the mocktails were sweeter than my liking, but it was fine. The staff were awesome. The bartender was solo up until it turned into a cash bar -- she was working really hard! The music was at a great volume, and food was being passed around regularly. It's really a great space for having a private party. And on top of that, while it can fill up quickly, there's free street parking outside. I do wish the bathroom was lockable -- the stall within there is, but otherwise things could get awkward. Pro tip -- it's behind the stage.
