Kim's Oriental Nails - Love the design!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Wildwood, New Jersey

Today was my first & last time visiting Kim's nail salon IV in north wildwood. I went in with a set price that I was quoted (via calling and confirming) before I arrived, to be told it was actually 10$ more than said price. Not only was there confusion on just how much it would cost, I was not happy with my first nail tech flat out asking for a "teep" after having 5$ returned to me by the owner, after being overcharged. I had to continually show the gentleman that my nails were filed too much on the sides and that the tips were all slanted. I do not have complaints about hygiene habits or the cleanliness of the store but it certainly was not at all what I had hoped for. I only received a full set with a basic french manicure, asking to have a colored tip instead of white. That should not cost 40$! I will stick with my girls inside the Rio Grande Walmart. They're prices and their work are a win win! read more

Been here a few times now and everytime they do a wonderful job! The Polish lasts a long time and they do great work. They run it very well too when it's extremely busy making sure everyone is taken care of. Hope to be back next week! read more

I keep seeing all these positive reviews and can't help but wonder why I had such a crappy service. I went to get a nail fix decided to get Gel Manicure. First and most important none of the tools were sterilized the person who did my nails cut me and didn't even apply alcohol.....he glued my nail with crazy glue (which I could have done myself) instead of him putting a nail tip. The manicure was horrible...I had nail file dust all over my hands and when he polished my nails you can see the file dust in the polish. I ran home and washed my hands with antibacterial soap and treated the cut. I can't believe the tools were not sterilized every Salon I've been too always brings out a sealed and sterile packet of tools. Regret giving him such a good tip. Won't be returning that's for sure. read more

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. 0/10. I just waited 40 minutes after i signed in for a gel manicure after having an appointment and they took walk-ins before me! I left after 40-45 minutes of waiting. Now my nails look TERRIBLE and i blantanly wasted my precious time! This place does not deserve to be open-Goodbye. read more

This place is the absolute BEST! It is immaculate clean, VERY well staffed. Always crowded, that's a sure sign someone is doing something right! The technicians are friendly. You are always greeted and helped immediately. If you make an appointment, you are seen AT your exact appointment time. LOVE David, Cindy, Steve, and all the rest. They do an incredible job on my nails. I am local, so have their gels done every few weeks without fail. Great choice of colors too! At times I have come in here exhausted, my hands killing me (I am a jewelry designer), and they have been kind enough to provide a back lumbar pillow, and give an extra special hand massage and hot towel....wonderful! read more

I had to change my last review. This place is under new management. Unfortunately if you're expecting the same type of quality as the previous owners, it's not there. I had a fill manicure, less than a week my nails looked bad. It looked as if I need to get a manicure. Plus the nail that was replaced, was again coming loose less that a week! Wax - red & bumps caused from the wax ingredient. I recommend Pamper Me/Middle or Christie's/North Wildwood. read more

This place is very clean and you can just walk in. I had to run to place because my week old set broke on two different nails. I felt bad because apparently the shop I got my full set did it wrong and was very hard to take off. If I was living in the Wildwoods I definitely use this as my nail salon. The employees were very nice and accommodating to anyone who walked. read more

They do a wonderful job and have great service! I get my nail done here every time I go down the shore and thry always come through with beautifully done nails. Just to touch on how wonderful their service is, I got my normal mani&pedi sat. morning and later that day got the paint on my big toe scraped off at one of the water parks. I went back Sunday morning and they gladly repainted it at no charge. (Which I have been charged for at other salons). They are just simply wonderful! I love this nail salon! read more

After trying probably 20 different nail salons on and off the island I'm so happy with this one and have been now coming here for 1 year. It's the only place that did my eyebrows how I wanted and took care of my nails, of course! They make you feel comfortable and are so friendly. read more

Daisy is the best. I just moved to Wildwood from the Haddonfield NJ area. I had been going to the same person and nail salon for many years and loved that place. I am very particular about how my nails are done and how they hold up between appointments so I was hesitant to try a new salon. My first thoughts were that I would drive the 80 miles every two weeks to get them done. I did that when I first moved down here in May but after a couple of times that wasn't working for me anymore. I asked around and searched the internet and decided to try Kim's because it was the closest to my house. Thankfully for me I got Daisy. I can't say enough about her. She listened to me as I went on and on about what I like and don't like and how much I loved the salon and the person I had been going to for years.. In the beginning I had a few thimgs that I didn't like (because I am so particular) and Daisy worked with me until I was happy with the results. I am now a very happy client of this salon and Daisy is the reason for that.....She's awesome and anyone who is looking for a great person to do their nails should go to Kim's and see Daisy.
