This is one of the best places to chill with fresh smoothies or tapioca drinks. I think they started offering banh mi- Vietnamese poboys and I had to try a combination one. It is hot and also fresh. We love this place. Both the BBQ and the chicken are delicious. All the ingredients taste fresh. Also, this place made me fall in love with tapioca drinks. I've been to almost all the locations of Kim's teahouse, and this one is my usual go to spot with my kids if we have nothing to do. They have free wi-fi, it's clean and the drinks and food are good! Been coming here ever since they opened. They're pretty good and consistent with their tapioca. My go to choices are mango smoothie, strawberry banana, and my favorite, the ice cream coffee. All with tapioca. The reason why I'm writing this review only now is because I just had the best tapioca pearls ever! At some places in Bellaire, they're just too frozen or too soft. Here, it's just the right consistency! I've never been to their other locations, but I think this is their original location. Anyways, their banh mi and popcorn shrimp is good here too. I really like the bread of the banh mi. It's not too hard. I always add a fried egg on top for $1 more. read more

Amazing boba. It's not that bland gum ball you find at other places. They were nicely chewy and sweet. I got the hazelnut latte boba and my friend got the avocado smoothie with boba. Both were excellent and highly recommended! read more

Kim's is such a staple in this area of town. My go to drink is the Thai tea with tapioca or baby tapioca. Their banh mi(s) are over priced and don't taste half as good as the ones in China town. This place is still a classic though and it's always busy. Definitely worth a try! read more

I love the food and the atmosphere here. It's great for groups, you can play games and sit on the couches here. The tea is always good and the banh mi is better than the Katy location. Love Kim's! Was always popular when we were in high school! Not too expensive and it's a great place to go and study. Casual atmosphere, fun and friendly, and reminds me of how my family's living room is decorated. The drinks are ALWAYS good! Any fresh fruit smoothies are so fresh and tasty! Not too sweet, just sweet enough. Milk teas are so delicious! Popcorn chicken and the sandwiches are pretty great as well! I never write a review on a restaurant because I am usually happy with the service that they offer, but I had to write a review on this place. I usually go to this place often because it's right by my house, but my recent order left me very very disappointed. I called in to order for pick up and ordered popcorn chicken extra spicy, extra spicy squid balls, and a lychee green tea with no boba and I emphasized no boba. When I went to pick it up the lychee green tea had boba added in it and the popcorn chicken was mild and not extra spicy like I requested. I am very frustrated and angry at the service of this establishment and cannot believe they couldn't get my simple order correct. Also it seems like the workers are not working at all because when I called in, the employee that picked up was joking and did not greet at all. No hello, no thank you or anything. It seems they do not take their jobs seriously. Will not be going to this place again. read more

This place is horrible compared to other places! I got the Frozen Cappuccino with tapicoa and my friend got the Oreo drink with tapicoa, and after a while I started feeling really bad. Its so bad to the point that it feels like food poisoning after a while.I want to throw up and I'm extremely nauseous and so is my friend.
