a plate of sushi rolls with sauce

So the first worry is the fact that the majority of their plates offer imitation crab meat. That's really odd considering they have a roll with fresh soft shelled crabmeat. This sushi is mediocre at best. Expensive, generic, basic, and really nothing to write home about. We left feeling pretty sick really. Tried to make the best of it, but there's just nothing good happening here. The prices are high for less than mediocre food. Fake meat? No thank you. This is a pass all day long. And we tried several rolls. Just, no thank you.

A for effort. Very accommodating for our special order creations and the sushi was very fresh tasting. The owners have done a cute job transforming the place and making the most of it. I still feel they might want to look at it from a "clients eye" and hide a bit more service items and get rid of the awful Pepsi- wait to be seated sign. The server was delightful and we enjoyed her knowledge and enthusiasm.

Downtown with limited parking. The place could use some renovations. It's not a typical Japanese place nor is it a fast food hibachi joint. Place a to go order and it was very fast. The ginger dressing is very very thick and not at all well puréed. Didn't care for the dressing. The sushi saved the day however, as it was delicious and well made. I really enjoyed the sexy dragon roll. The negatives- when I arrived there were 2 people outside sitting right beside the entrance panhandling for "kerosene money". No one wants to be questioned going in and out for money. As for the biggest negative, it would be tHat if you don't have cash, they charge you a 3.99% fee on your bill. Not a tip, but a few to use your card. They also apparently charge 18% on parties of 6 or more, which is typical, but that on top of a 3.99% fee isn't kosher.

Best I've had since moving back from California and Texas! Staff is super friendly and very helpful. All the sushi rolls are amazing! They also have hibachi! I haven't had anything bad here yet! Definitely a keeper!

Wonderful fresh crab salad with a side of sweet carrots. I love the fact that it's extremely consistent and easy to visit in downtown.

Decent place, tables are sticky, dirty menus, place is overall kinda unkept-looking. Decent food though.

The Red Dragon was pretty decent but the other rolls we go were blah. Seems like the Sushi (rice) needed a different sugar:salt ratio.

Went with a large party on a Sunday after church so we had to wait a little while but didn't mind…read more Other parties with less people were seated immediately. Seated with drink orders taken immediately and we were off! While it was very crowded, I felt they did a good job to keep the food well replenished. Does anything set this place apart from others? That's usually what I look for when I go places...what would keep me coming back? This is like a lot of typical chinese buffet places but they had things that are different ..Coconut chicken, Hong Kong style beef stir fry to name a few that I don't see commonly at other buffet places. A lot of stir fry options as you can see from the photos... No snow crab legs or anything. Sushi bar was okay...small but not too many people getting sushi. They had to refill the soups several times as well. I also never get pizza at these places but this one was surprisingly good so had to give it a mention...cheesy with a thin crunchy crust. Decent price, clean, and well replenished. Had a good experience. Good for family outings with wide variety for everyone to choose from.

I've only been there once, so far, considering they just opened this week. I started with the spicy tuna salad, and it was full of beautiful chunks that I THOUGHT were diced tomatoes at first, the kimchi sauce and accoutrements were very satisfying. Because it was my first time there, I also ordered pad see ew, to try their hot food. The crab Rangoon appetizer was so light, crunchy, and flavorful, I wanted more. The entree was very tasty and satisfying, though the size was a bit modest. But it is an affordable lunch special, right? Wifey tried the California rule, and reported it was perfect, spring roll was excellent, and her panang curry was excellent, I was not offered a nibble! Next time, I will try the seafood sushi...

The food was brought out randomly with some of our table receiving their plates 20 minutes before others. We also never received 2 of our sushi rolls and had to inquire about it. There was a 20 percent gratuity added to our tickets with only 5 people on our ticket. Expensive food and poor service!
