    Green curry with chicken.

I must admit I was skeptical about Asian food in the the Mountains. I was pleasantly impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere. All 5 Stars. The Green curry was flavorful with the slightest hint of spicy heat. The vegetables were cooked in and the added chicken for protein was perfect. The red curry was deliciously rich and flavorful. Our least favorite on the night were the Thai donuts. A little too dense but still tasty.

I was riding solo with my toddler son and dropped in here to escape the rainy evening. It's a cozy spot right off of the blue ridge parkway. This was probably the best overall service I've had in a long time. As soon as we arrived the host was pleasant and got us seated quickly. It was late and we needed to speed dine so I gave the waitress our order on the first stop. She guided me toward the tuna tataki starter which was very fresh. From sitting down to full dinner arriving it wasn't more than 15 minutes. She stopped by several times throughout the dinner to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was solid. No frills but solid size and quality for the price. I very much enjoyed my pho and would definitely order it again. Looking forward to coming back and trying more sushi.

The food was fabulous the ambiance was perfect. We were disappointed after another Thai restaurant was closed, but glad we didn't give up the search because Moon was amazing!

We had a good experience. We came on a Wed night at 6:30 only a few days after Hurricane Helene and the curfew had just lifted to be able to eat this late. They had a local IPA (Blowing Rock) - which was a good start. We ordered an edamame ($6.50) appetizer and it was spot on. My bride ordered the Cashew Nut w/chicken ($19) and enjoyed it. I went the sushi route with the Friend with Benefit Roll ($19) and Maguro Nigiri ($8) and they was pleased. Service from Aun-Aun was friendly and prompt!

We were so happy with this restaruant. It was interesting that you order and pay first at the desk, then the food is brought to your table. It worked out great. Everything was correct and was brought out speedily. We got sushi rolls and nigiri, massaman curry, cashew vegetables, miso soup, tom kha ga soup, and gyoza. Hot green tea, and iced matcha also. It's was quick, pleasing to the eye, and tasty - all of it. Great vibes with the perfect music playing.

This place is a hidden gem. If you have ANY doubts about going- please don't! The food is amazing- the Beef Pho is what I got and it was delicious. It was pretty cheap for the amount of food they give you too! (Which is a pretty big portion size) The service is amazing, everyone was so friendly, attentive, we didn't need to call for the waiter once. As for the Ambiance, it was really relaxing, nice music, not too loud. Please go and give this restaurant some love!

Service- fast and friendly Parking- uphill, not handicapp friendly Sushi- yummy, the fish was a little big but I like smaller smoke salmon to bigger cream cheese ratios in my Philly rolls in general Dessert- ooooffff the hook! The fried bannana with icecream was just awesome and the fried cheesecake was off the hook! I'd go back just for the desserts! If we are ever in the area again, I'd like to go back.

Food was fresh and delicious!! The portion was large. I didn't enjoy the spring roll too much it didn't seem freshly prepared vs. frozen but the thai rice was amazing!!

This place is so good! We went Christmas Day and it was packed. The parking is tough when it is so crowded, but we will be back.

We headed over for a cozy dinner but were disappointed by the lack of indoor seating. The cashier had a bit of a strange confused yet also slightly irritated attitude. But she got our orders right so I cant complain much. We ordered two beef pho and shumai. The menu is a bit more "fusion-ey" than just thai and vietnamese. The interior was a very messy, the stores old furniture and boxes scattered about. Finally the food. It was lukewarm by the time we finally got to eat. Very delicious broth, meat was mostly yummy, LOT of fat pieces though. The noodles were... not enjoyable. And there were no bean sprouts! But for pho it makes the minimum mark. The shumai was also pretty good but cold. I like how the food was packaged separately, and the prices were reasonable, the pho bowl was $11. Overall 3 stars

First meal in Boone... and unfortunately, not my favorite…read more I ordered the Green Curry with pork, Crab Rangoon, and a Thai Iced Coffee for about $23. As someone who loves Thai food and has eaten a lot of it over the years, I may have walked in with high expectations. The star of the meal was definitely the Crab Rangoon. Crispy, creamy, and served with a sweet chili sauce that hit all the right notes. The Green Curry was a different story. The curry sauce itself was flavorful enough, and I actually ate all of it. But the pork had a texture more like pulled pork than the sliced pork I'm used to seeing in Thai curry. It felt out of place and wasn't something I'd order again. I ended up leaving most of the meat and vegetables behind. The Thai Iced Coffee was also a miss for me. I know Thai coffee tends to be sweet, but this was sweetness overload. A few sips in and I was done. That said, this is a college town, prices were reasonable, service was quick, and the Crab Rangoon alone saved the meal from being a complete disappointment. Life is too short to eat mediocre food, so I'll keep searching for my favorite meal in Boone. This one just wasn't it for me.

You order the food and pay for it and then they bring it to your table. The man who took our order was extremely rude and nasty. He was so busy watching the television that he could barely take our order and when we asked him questions, he barked at us to look at the booklet with the pictures. I almost walked out right then, but since we were there, I held my displeasure in and I thought OK well hopefully the food will be better. I had Pad Thai and my friend had drunken noodles. My Pad Thai was basically noodles with peanut bits in it. Not any type of peanut sauce like it's supposed to have. It was tasteless and disgusting. But the portion was huge. So if people just want a plate full of noodles that have no taste then I guess this is the dish for you My friend who had never eaten Thai food before liked her drunken noodles with broccoli. So I guess if you have never eaten Thai food, you might really like the huge portions they give you. But for those people that have eaten at a Thai restaurant before will know that this is not real Thai food. No spices. No sauce. No taste. Will I ever be back? No, I will not.
