Great place to get deserts. I got boba tea from here. Nice and friendly staff and the prices are reasonable.

**During my last visit I noticed they are selling Japanese cheesecake, so I'm looking forward to trying that next.

What brought me to Tin Roof Cafe in Erin was my son's baseball game against the local team. With time to kill and bellies to fill before first pitch, we stopped by Tin Roof Cafe. It looked like the most promising spot in town, and we were fortunate to squeeze in an hour there before their daily 6 p.m. closing time. My son ordered the Tin Roof BLT, and everything about it tasted incredibly fresh. I especially appreciated that they used locally baked bread instead of the typical store-bought variety. (If you're wondering, they also offer a regular BLT--but you won't get the turkey, avocado, or chipotle mayo that make the Tin Roof version so special.) It was a delicious sandwich from start to finish. For myself, I ordered the Nutellaccino. It was surprisingly good. The Nutella added a nutty richness to the coffee without making it crazily sweet. We also ordered a peanut butter brownie to go. Since my son was eating his sandwich first, the staff kindly offered to keep the brownie in the fridge until we were ready to leave. However, since we still had some time to kill and of course a sweet tooth, so we ended up eating the brownie before we left. The brownie was so...good. You could tell it was homemade, and even the peanut butter was homemade. The only disappointment was that I visited during the summer. Otherwise, I definitely would have tried one of their soups, which unfortunately aren't available during the warmer months. I love coffee shops with personality, and Tin Roof Cafe has plenty of it. Its cozy, funky village vibe made our one-hour visit feel warm, welcoming, and memorable. It's exactly the kind of local café that makes a small-town stop worthwhile.

I personally had the carrot cake and it was moist and flavourful. Just delicious! The coffee was pretty good too. They didn't have very many options but we also came late in the day so that's probably why. I can see this being a popular spot to come study or work.even the staff are nice and welcoming. It very cozy and warm feeling. I also love the turquoise cup and I feel like the branding is very good. So while it is sort of expensive it still is delicious.

When I ordered, someone mistakenly took my drink and confused it with their order. However, the staff was super kind about it and remade my drink, with a smile on their face! As for the interior, it was very aesthetic. Definitely had to snag a picture of their set up of coffee bags! The only struggle was parking, since there's no dedicated parking spots aside from the SMART VMC (Subway station) parking, which is a bit of a pricey ticket if you're looking just to get coffee or food nearby.

The coffee shop was visibly dirty, with stained countertops, crumbs, and a dirty rag left in the work area. The employees appeared unprofessional and careless about the cleanliness, showing no attention to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. I also ordered a matcha, which was poorly prepared and had an unpleasant, almost fried-fish taste. I've visited the Distillery District location, and the difference is huge. That location is clean, the staff are professional, and everything looks fresh and well maintained. This location (200 Apple Mill Road) definitely needs improvement in cleanliness, service, and drink preparation. I hope management takes these issues seriously because the quality of the experience is nowhere near what I have experienced at other locations.
