We just got filets from here for Valentine's Day and they were some of the best steaks I've had. They were about 8.5oz a piece and were $60. Which is cheaper than going out to a fancy restaurant and the butcher even said that. The service was great and prompt. Higher recommend! read more

Nice new butcher in the Yard at Fishers District. The staff in this store is very friendly and the selection seems good. In addition to all the traditional offerings in a butcher shop, they have cases of frozen foods like burgers, meats, pie, soup small wine section Boars Head packaged deli meats and cheeses Spread cheese and some dips Italian pasta A selection of oils and vinegars I inquired about getting specific cuts of meat and they can do most anything, they just ask for some notice to have time to prepare. I'm looking forward to being able to order things like airline cut chicken and prime rib cut off but tied back on the bone. I've missed having a butcher close in Fishers. The quality of Kinkaid's is unmatched in Fishers. The prices are higher because of that quality but joining the rewards program and using the occasional coupon in Valuepak helps offset the higher prices. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. I dislike their early closing times, 6pm during the week, 4pm on Sat, 3 pm on Sunday, and closed on most big grilling holidays. You really have to plan ahead to shop there if you work. read more

This brand new addition to "the Yard" in Fishers was a pleasant discovery. After parking in front of the building on the east side of the north-south access road, I entered the shop portion of this meat shop. There was a rack of food items by the door. There is a U-shaped meat counter with multiple staff available to assist. In the center, a 2-sided cooler has packaged meets and food items. I decided to get some bulk Mild Italian Sausage, some sliced Jalapeno Colby Jack cheese, and after getting a free sample of their house made Ham Salad, decided to get a pound of that. The ham salad was fantastic and I've already tried some on crackers with the cheese. Yum! Very friendly, helpful, and timely assistance from the staff. I wish I lived closer. Truly the go-to spot in Indy for meat. They have every cut of beef and pork imaginable as well as exotic meats like Alligator and Wild Boar. The seafood section is also stellar. They do special orders as well if there is a something you are looking for that they don't have in stock. I've had frog legs and turkey ribs ordered custom for me. Absolutely high quality meat and large variety of meat cuts. The price is steep but you get the quality for what you pay for. The filets and sirloin steaks are some of the best I've ever had. Just be prepared it is about 30 bucks a pound for some of the more expensive steaks. Worth it in my opinion for a special grill out or dinner treat. read more

I have been shopping at Kincaid's Meat Market since it originally opened. The store is such a fantastic addition to the Fishers community. I have a few things I especially like buying at Kincaid's. The Tavern sliced ham, the jalapeno tequila marinated chicken from the freezer section, the beef shank from the freezer section, their ribs, their pasta salad, and Rosie's butter cookie at check out :-). I am happy that Kincaid's started a loyalty reward program this year. Their meat is more pricey, but you get tenfold in quality. Kincaid's is also the type of place where you can ask for special requests like a unique cut of meat or having meat cut a certain way which saves me time on meal prep. We bought skirt steak tonight and grilled using lime juice and cilantro. This is the most tender meat we could ask for. I will keep coming back. Price for a pound was kind of high ($22 for a pound) but in my mind it was well worth the money. Thanks Kincaid! read more

I didn't make it in the door! Walking up to the door there was a sign, that the way I interpreted it, was that if you were a regular customer you were welcome inside, but if not, and "just wanted to look, you weren't welcome to enter the store. If I have never been in the store before, how do I know what they have, what prices were on the items, and how it rates in quality. They basically said to come back after the virus was over. As a potential new customer, I felt unwelcome, it was rude, and I was insulted. They can keep their meat in the store even after it is over. I won't be back! read more

I went in here to buy around 2 pounds of brisket for my father. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a nice woman but another male worker behind the counter chimed in and asked me how many people I was serving. I told him two people, and told me the amount of meat I wanted "wasn't going to be enough" very rudely. I didn't appreciate this comment because he did not know what I was going to cook with the brisket, nor was that any of his business. (We planned on grinding up the meat with several other cuts to make hamburgers) I honestly thought about walking out after that and buying it somewhere else but the lady ended up cutting the brisket for me and didn't make any rude comments towards me. Unless you're going to buy like 10-20 pounds of a certain meat I wouldn't recommend going in here because they will probably be put off by your requests. Definitely won't be back because this wasn't my first unpleasant experience here. read more

All I can say is we walked thru here today with no intention of buying anything. I can tell you it is clean... very clean! When you're out of dinner ideas this would be a good place to get your mojo back. We're fans is steak tartare and I spoke with the butcher who was very familiar with grinding the meat... 3x! Right answer! Also we "imported" a frozen goose from Ohio for Christmas dinner. I found the same brand here... next year I'll be ordering from here! read more

First time customer and definitely NOT my last visit. I came for their Italian sausages for a Father's Day grill with my Dad and the quality/taste was amazing. Also, customer service was awesome as one of the guys pointed me to their freezer section to save some $ if I was open to frozen product. He said they freeze their meats as soon as the product just begins to verge on not being fresh. In my opinion, this makes good business sense and is an acceptable practice to avoid waste when it's managed in a proper way. This was an okay and ideal option for me and again, the quality/taste was great. I'm telling as many people as possible about Kincaids in Fishers. I'm so glad they're here! read more

I love this store and am so glad they came to Fishers. Meat quality is exceptional. They stock a wide variety of essentials and sides (greasy snd frozen) to make a complete meal. Don't know what's for dinner? Pop in and the staff will take care of you - quickly and friendly! They stock hard-to-find whole chicken legs - great on the grill! I stopped there today to pick up a few things - very happy to see them open again. We have had the brisket, flank steak, beef fillets, beef tenderloin and the crab cakes - all great. They saved my Thanksgiving dinner! I was making a recipe that called for a hard to find turkey tenderloin that no one else (Kroger, Whole Foods) had. Called Kincaids and they had what they explained was a great alternative, and I could come pick it up same day. When I got there, every single person was so welcoming, pleasant and attentive. They loved working there, you can tell. They gave me what I called for - but I need to add they went out of their way to make using the turkey easiest for me. They cut up a part of a turkey - just for me - so that it wouldn't be a nightmare to cook! How awesome is that? The store is clean and had appropriate hand sanitizers and all employees were wearing masks. The turkey breast I bought stayed fresh and above all, tasted incredible. This is a local small business you should support not because it's a small business necessarily, but because they truly value their customers and go out of their way to help you.
