Leaving was truly hard for us because this school has become our second home. We are incredibly grateful for all the amazing teachers who have been part of our son's journey--Ms. Juliet, his very first teacher, along with Ms. Sara, Ms. Marie, Ms. Neisha, and Ms. Krista. Each one has played a special role in his growth, and we will always appreciate the love, patience, and dedication they showed him over the years. The entire staff has always been so welcoming and supportive. The administrative team, Ms. Katrina and Ms. Jasmine, are wonderful--easy to talk to, warm, and always available whenever we had questions or concerns. And a special thank you to Ms. Myrna for keeping the school so clean and pleasant; it truly always feels inviting the moment you walk in. Tutor Time will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we will always be thankful for the years, memories, and care our son received here.

My daughter has been attending for 6 years, and my younger son has been here since he was an infant. Watching both of them grow, learn, and genuinely love going to school every day says everything. The teachers truly care about the children and go above and beyond to make them feel safe, loved, and supported. My kids have learned so much here academically, socially, and emotionally. It feels like a second family to us. One of my absolute favorite features is the live camera access. Being able to log in at any time and check on my children gives me so much peace of mind and reassurance throughout the day. The facility is clean, welcoming, and very well run. I've referred multiple friends and family members here, and they all love it just as much as we do. We are so thankful for everything this center and its amazing staff have done for our family over the years. On his very first day, the principal called, saying he was crying for his mom and needed to be picked up--something completely normal for a first day. Instead of helping him adjust, they suggested getting an aide right away, without a diagnosis. The principal, new to the school, seemed more focused on proving herself than understanding my child's needs. I withdrew him, and he's now thriving elsewhere. I don't recommend Kids World. We love the curriculum they have, even for 3-year olds. Lots of crafts, outdoor play, English/Spanish language development, and most importantly, Fun! I feel like my daughter is learning a lot for her age (numbers, alphabet, days of the week, colors, etc.). They have a company that comes weekly that offers dance and fitness classes (for an additional fee), which my daughter loves. My daughter loves her teachers (Ms. Sonia and Ms. Sarah), who are so patient, nurturing, and kind. We also have to give a shout-out to her former teacher, Ms. Rocio. We only had her for a few months in the 2-year old room but she left a soft spot in our hearts. She helped our daughter transition into her new school so well and gave plenty of hugs, when needed. I appreciate how informed I feel as a parent- they are quick to let me know of any concerns, situations from the day, or funny stories to share. I also feel confident in the safety of my child with their check in/out procedures, passcode secure door, and checking IDs of grandparents or other adults picking up kids. They're also very accommodating of kids with special dietary needs, like my daughter being lactose-intolerant (thanks Ms. Martha!) Thank you to everyone at Kids World, who play a huge part in shaping our girl into a smart, confident, and good little human!

My son has no music class, no field trips, no art class and a PE class that's barely that. For PE the have free time 9 times out of ten. Never once has my kid learned something like a sport or anything athletic. For Art the teacher puts on YouTube! When she has nothing else to do for her second graders she puts on Elmo and Disney. The special needs children have pushed her to the floor. No aids in the classrooms of this size! All this school cares about is there standardized testing! Not how the kids do or what goes on in these classrooms. They are not learning. They are put in front of computers ( but not to be taught computers or coding or anything useful) and told to sit still. And to top it off....Twenty pumps on the swings and you must get off.

This is for Pine Hills Academy. The teacher for the 5th…read moregrade math teacher is not very experienced. She is new to the field and it shows. She was not professional and the kids had a very difficult time learning in her classroom. She mainly put the children on computer programs and I know there were complaints so towards the end she did some teaching time in her classroom. The teacher would play favorites, telling the children "just because these kids are smarter than you, it doesn't make them better than you". This teacher would give her favorite student authority to choose who they thought was being "bad" or "good" and place them in categories to either receive a treat or if deemed "bad" by this student placed on the list to be reprimanded and have to do push ups in front of the class. The students who were chosen as "bad" were actually some of the nicer and well behaved students. The teacher repeated many times in front of the class that the chosen student had the power to make these decisions about the others. There was a game another teacher lead at recess for PE where the students all stood in a circle and were instructed to say if they liked the students next to them or not. If they didn't those students had to move. It got pretty detailed and started focusing on clothing and facial features such as "I do not like anyone with blue eyes". All of this was shocking to me and in retrospect I can now see why my child was so uncomfortable last year. In 2018 there was a turn over in principals. The new principal isn't experienced in dealing with difficult matters. I did go to the head of the school and had communicated what I thought wasn't working and she was very helpful. I was able to give it at least 2 stars are for the quality of children/families in this school. If it weren't for the great kids the rating would have been lower.

My son had an issue with repeating himself at times (ADHD and being currently evaluated to see if he is on the spectrum) and instead of engaging with him in a different way " you've already said that so is there any new information you would like to add?" He was cut off mid sentence more than once and chastised that he's already said that and to stop repeating himself. I was in person and saw this happen in front of me. I have been giving this school chance after chance, from kindergarten to 3rd grade we have been here and I feel I've wasted so much time and energy for myself and my son. Some of the staff are great and loving, but unfortunately the bad outweighs the good here.

My daughter is not on an IEP, so I can't speak to that, but they do have a great system in place if your child falls behind in grade level. I really like this school, I wish my daughter went to this school for all of elementary. I know she will miss it when she moves on to middle school this year. Keep doing great things Tovashal!

Heather and Denise have so much love for the kids and it truly shows! I know I can send my babies here and they will be validated and cared for through all the big emotions. My child attends Temecula Valley Charter School. The teachers are doing their best under pressure,…read moreand many of them genuinely care. The problem is not the classroom. The problem is the administration. Dr. Charity Hennings serves as Treasurer on the Board while also controlling student medical plans. That conflict of roles alone should concern every parent. When parents have asked for protocols, she has repeatedly refused to provide transparency. Instead of accountability, she deflects and blames parents when something goes wrong. She has received multiple raises while teachers and staff are stretched to the breaking point, forced to cover multiple departments and responsibilities just to keep the school operational. Educators are overworked, morale is strained, and leadership continues rewarding itself. When you bring concerns to the Board, you quickly learn there is no real oversight. Complaints are simply forwarded back to Dr. Hennings. The Board President does not independently investigate he redirects. Parents are then forced to deal directly with the very person they are filing concerns about. That is not governance. That is insulation. I have attended 6 of these meetings and they are no help. The attitude from administration is clear: if you don't like it, leave. That is not how a publicly funded charter school should operate. The health office is understaffed. There have been multiple student medical emergencies on campus that parents believe were minimized or quietly swept aside. Communication lacks transparency. When student safety is involved, silence is not leadership it is negligence. The promised new site lacks transparency and clarity. Questions go unanswered. Information is vague. Families are expected to simply trust without being given fact. Event the Temecula school district is questioning TVCS. Save your children, do not go here. I am pulling mine out.
