I have ordered a few drinks from here that were either supposed to be a lotus or a redbull and what we have gotten is un carbonated Italian sodas. I am not spending $10+ on flavored water. Your customers can tell when it's not there. Like when you mess up a coffee order. We get it every day and know how it tastes. What is the correct price for a muffin here? One day it's $3.00, another day $3.25, and most recently $3.50! Every employee charges something different. The last one insisted it's been $3.50 for the last six months. I explained to her this was the first time I had been charged this amount - and I had been by regularly the last few weeks. I wasn't going to argue with her, but no one here knows the prices. I hope the management can work to insure the correct prices are posted and charged. A friend recommended Kindred Spirits Cafe because of their "Red Bull Smoothies." I was told they have the best one in town, so I decided to give them a shot and see. My friend was exactly right, because that amortize was amazing!! Unfortunately, the hospitality & speed were not as impressive. The girl the girl that interacted with us did not seem happy to be there. Not one smile the entire time. I'm addition, before using my card for payment, she asked how much tip I wanted to put on it. Rude staff, allowed costumers to walk up to the drive thru window. Didn't care about the safety of their customers, in vehicles and out. It's an unsafe environment for both. Here in Anchorage from Florida, so I today understand if my review is off, since I'm a tourist and all. This coffee shop sells some good coffee. Randomly stopped at this small coffee shop, because how much money am I really going to be giving Starbucks in 2019?. I was not disappointed. I would have ordered the Kindred latte (shout out to my Tampa Kindred fam), but I decided to keep it simple. I ordered a mocha breve coffee and it was just right: the balance of espresso to cream to mocha made sure neither was overpowering. Plus they put a cute fall pumpkin sticker over the cup's drink spout, an unexpected touch. I gotta come back for that Kindred latte for sure . This is for the one on 5th ave, they don't have a yelp yet. I got my normal 12oz mocha with whip. It was 3.75$, a little on the steep side. I noticed my other drink choices were on the expensive side too. My drink was too hot I couldn't drink it for 30 minutes after. Sucks when you're on a time crunch. The barista was nice she gave me 2 punches when I started a card. Don't know if it's double punch Monday's or not. read more

This is a great spot to get your coffee or redbull! There's so many different options. The redbull was a surprise flavor of white peach, dessert pear, blue raspberry. The baristas were very friendly. This is a super cute little cafe in the sports center. While I'm not over here very often, this was a great find and I'll be coming back. Setup with a curio style decor, this little shop oddly smells of chocolate and fresh cut grass. They serve up some good hot chocolate and coffee though! Service is a bit slow--generally only one person on shift means any rushes get backed up pretty badly, but they do their best to move everyone though in a timely manner. They also sell some food items, like breakfast sandwiches and snack packs. Nothing too filling, but it's a nice bit if you're at the sport center for a while. The space is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating available. Honestly a good place to hang out for a bit and meet some friends. Breakdown: Food-3/5, Drinks-4/5, Decor-4/5, Seating-5/5, Service-4/5. Overall a 4/5, and a cute little coffee shop I will be visiting again. read more

Been getting my morning 20oz Vanilla Latte' here at least 2-3x a week for two months now and the baristas are skilled enough that my coffee is consistent regardless of which worker makes it. Lotus drinks are awesome, had them from other coffee shops but thought I'd try this one. Going to get a 32 oz for my friend and I to share. Order a 32 oz dragonfruit lotus with light ice. Pay and wait. I received a 24 oz dragonfruit with ice packed to the lid and like 8 oz of the drink in there. Laura is the best! She works mid-day/closing shifts. Pretty, Long blonde hair, and blue eyes! Always super nice and makes my drinks perfect everytime! And I change up my drink sometimes but it's always on point! She referred me to get the zucchini muffin and now I'm hooked and gonna gain 10,000 pounds! I got the worst service I have ever gotten at a coffee drive-thru. One barista totally ignored me and the other waited on the person on the other side even though I got there first. I ordered a 20oz latte which cost me $5.00. I did not leave a tip. The charge has come through my bank account and the barista added a $3.00 tip. read more

Located just in front of the O'Malley Ice Arena is this little drive up cafe. My friend and I stopped here every morning during my vacation. Being an Anchorage native, my friend told me about this place being very good and one of his favorites in the area. I never went to any of these drive thru cafes until I came up here. I also, have never seen that many of these until I came up here. The baristas at Kindred Spirits were always friendly and made some spectacular espresso drinks and they definitely kept me happy and warm during that cold week of March. They also give you your latte with a chocolate covered coffee bean. I have found nothing to replace the experience of a great drive up cafe with super friendly baristas and delicious espresso drinks in a cold environment. Love this place! The coffee has been consistently great every time I've gone there. The baristas are always cheerful and polite. I like that they offer cold-brew coffee and other items many other coffee stands don't have. The flavored lattes are always just the right amount of sweetness. I don't like it when flavored lattes are either too sweet and overpower the flavor of the espresso or I'm not able to taste the syrup flavors at all. I definitely recommend this place. read more

I understand things get busy. But every time I order a Red Bull smoothie, it takes over an hour to get delivered and I always receive it half melted. Maybe add more half and half or breve. So here is yet another wonderful place that fulfills my need for coffee. Best part about this place is it's location. It's super close to the Alaska Club South, making it not only maga necessary after my work out; but also major comforting since I can score twice as many java's. One on my way in, and again on the way out! The staff is sweet and is always concerned that my 3yr old's steamer is not too hot. She loves the extra dallop of whipped cream, and I love the made to order " pick me up." The prices are fair and I have no shame in admitting that I hit this place up for a muffin breakfast more often than my " oatmeal lovin'" mother would like me to admit. I like the coffee and that their mochas are not too sweet. I like the prompt service, and prompt service isn't that easy to find in Anchorage so it's valuable. I especially like the employees because they are always cheerful and friendly, treating customers like they know we exist in front of them and that we matter. That attitude is also missing in many Anchorage businesses. I value their attitude, and their cheerfulness on cold, dark, glum days. They make me smile and feel good so when I'm shopping in that area, theirs is the coffee stand I go to. read more
