Fantastic dinner at Kindred Spirits in Logan, Ohio! The restaurant is located in two log cabins that were built in the 1840s which offers a unique and charming dining experience. Our Server, Hal, ensured we had everything we needed and checked on us regularly. I had the Spring Sunshine Salad and my husband had the Creamy Sun-dried Tomato Pasta. We shared the complimentary bread which was delicious and I had the Prosecco which was very good. We had a wonderful dinner and I would definitely go back!

We stopped here for dinner after a hike. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Our drinks were very tasty, with us both getting a peach cocktail. My husband ordered the scallops with potatoes and brocollini. I had the filet with basmati rice and brocollini. Both were prepared perfectly! We savored the meal. The server was attentive and pleasant. The restaurant could use a bit better signage. We drove past multiple times without realizing it was the Kindred Spirits restaurant. We're hoping to return for breakfast before we leave Hocking Hills.

We wrapped up our trip with dinner here and it was the perfect ending! I had The Milligan pork chop with asparagus and roasted baby potatoes--every bite was flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. The hibiscus mocktail was a refreshing and delightful pairing. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance struck the right balance between cozy and elevated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in the Hocking Hills area!

Fun little breakfast in a log cabin! Service was excellent, staff was friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good but portion was small for the price. The overall ambiance made the experience worth it. We would come back!

Wow! This may be my favorite place I've been to in a long time. First, the place is gorgeous! It's so beautiful and peaceful here. The restaurant itself is so cool. I could spend hours just relaxing in it! The food...best breakfast I've had in I don't even remember how long. Service was great. This place is the whole package.

We loved this place! We stayed at the Inn and so it came with breakfast which was delicious and incredible value. Please note you need to tip your server. We also dined for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and our favorites were the drinks. We ordered Mezcal Marg and the Owners Choice Smoked Old Fashion and they were amazing. The service was on pointe and the chef came to everyone's table to check on us. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Hidden Gem! Must make reservations for dinner and breakfast. You do not need to be a hotel guests to dine here.

We were here for dinner on our hiking day, stayed at their cottage, just a stair away, we could easily reach the restaurant! It's looks small from outside, but inside, it's actually have several rooms! On a Wednesday night, still quite some guest dining here. This is definitely a popular place around the park! We ordered their Mediterranean salad, and husband got salmon and i got bbq chicken. Salmon is really good, salad is surprisingly tasty. My chicken taste good, but the portion is at the small side. We also had their brown butter cake with ice cream, which is also yummy!

I can't remember the name but it was a hibiscus margarita and it tasted like a jolly rancher. So good!

This is a beautiful little restaurant where they take great care with food allergies - be sure when making a reservation to let them know your allergies. The ambiance is nice and the decor is rustic and cute - you can actually have a conversation and hear each other. The dress code is casual. Our waitress was Rachael and she was amazing. She was very kind and accommodating, and studied my food allergies before I even got there, which was impressive. She was also fun and upbeat. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the special of the day which was scallops. They were tender and cooked to perfection. For the sides I had broccolini and the spicy cabbage and carrots. Highly recommend the spicy cabbage if it's available. Definitely worth a visit!

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).

Let me get the good out of the way first: Fries were large…read moresteak-style, well-seasoned, and crisp. Location is conveniently nearby Hocking Hills park nearby. Nice patio seating. Now with that out of the way, here we go. On a Saturday lunch with the restaurant serving less than half of its tables, it took 40 mins to get an order of a Ribeye Sandwich and a Black Bean Burger. Around 30 mins, the waitress apologized for the long wait and gave us some complimentary dinner rolls. Now onto these dinner rolls... she warned us to be careful because the rolls were very hot. Only for us to see these white, undercooked-looking rolls. We touched them and they were lukewarm. Then i cut them in half and realized that the middle is FROZEN cold. She apologized and gave us a fresh batch. Still looking undercooked but at least now warm. Ribeye sandwich had some unpleasant, sinewey portions that needs to not be served. Plating was a mess with au jus at the bottom of my plate making some fries and my bread soggy. Google maps warned us of the low review score of this place but man we were hungry after a long hike. Next time, drive 5-10 mins out and choose someplace better and you won't regret it.

My side of mac and cheese hadn't been warmed up properly and had some warm and cold bites. The cauliflower appetizer had literal frozen/ice pieces inside the batter. The rest of the food was average but nothing was worth the prices.
