Three employees standing around socializing, almost blocking the entrance, continued to ignore me as I entered. A person at the counter, busy with another customer, finally waved one of them over to me, ten minutes later. The employee, African American and middle aged, wouldn't even offer to look at my phone. She told me "put it in rice, if that doesn't work, it's an insurance claim" and then promptly went back to socializing. Everyone knows that the "put it in rice" is an urban myth and doesn't really work. Everyone, it seems, except Verizon employees.

I took it home and my son took the protective coveroff only to notice the back of phone was cracked throughout. I did not pay it much mind sine the "experts@ said it was dead. Today (3 days post pool) the phone was working fine . Gentleman was polite well mannered but 1) had to know he cracked the back of the phone and just played it off 2) obviously lacked the technical ability to open the phone 3) he was completely wrong in regards to the phones functionality. I stopped at this particular store right off the highway in Texarkana on two different occasions, most recently this past Spring, and both times they've been friendly and helpful. I usually would never give Verizon more than a two or three star rating at the most because the company itself screws me over so badly in so many different ways - but this particular store is so nice that I'm willing to give a 4.
