Not all heroes fly; some ride in on lots of horsepower. Dale from Kinetic is my hero! It finally happened: after several close calls, I accidentally locked my keys in my Subaru on a Saturday night after an afternoon of hiking in the ADK. Lucky for me, I was at a Stewart's Shop and *not* in the middle of nowhere when I had my bonehead moment, so at least I had time (and reason!) to grab a milkshake. I deserved it. I immediately jumped on my Geico app (phenomenal, btw), and within a couple minutes emergency roadside assistance was requested and on the way (what a time to be alive). Turns out, Kinetic Towing was dispatched for the job, with Dale behind the wheel. He was right on time and had my door open in a jiffy! He even tried to make me feel better by letting me know I was his third lockout of the day, but I don't know if I'm buying it. Or maybe there was a full moon? Either way, I'm thankful to live in a world where roadside help is just a few key strokes away on a smart phone, and guys like Dale are on the job in real life. Now, if I could only upgrade to a smart key... I tipped him $5 for saving the day, and encourage everyone to Google tipping etiquette for roadside assistance type-things. read more

Imagine buying there auction cars that they don't put a dime in. Lemons. Very sleazy company. Stay away. Bootleg company and vehicles. Rip off report. Put a flat tire on my car. And said $20 to put air in the tire. Through GEICO. Tire is bent and I'm reporting them to the better business for fraudulent business and scams. Very unprofessional people. Tow truck driver came from over an hour away because my insurance picked them to dispatch. He was able to get my car started and point out the issue with the shifter not working properly. Avoided the tow and at least have an idea what to have my mechanic check into. I don't know the actual business as they are out of area but I was pleased with the assistance! read more
