As far as we know so far, the quality of the work was fine. However, workers broke two of our paver tiles when tossing the old roofing materials off the roof onto the ground. Dylan assured us he would replace the tiles. Weeks went by without him offering suitable options, then months. Frustrated with this lack of progress, I offered to help look for paver tiles, which Dylan took for an excuse to continue to sit back and do nothing. Up until this point, I gave Dylan deposit checks on the spot and made online progress payments immediately when requested. I decided to withhold additional payments until the broken paver tiles were replaced, however, thinking the unpaid amount would encourage the company to finally finish the job. Instead of motivating Accurate America to complete the project, though, they instead sent emails threatening to turn us over to collections. I stated our position that the job wasn't done given the failure of Dylan to replace the tiles; that I would be more than happy, even eager, to send them the final payment when that occurred. Fast forward another month with no tile replacement. Now Dylan threatens to file a lien against our home unless the invoice - less $500 for the tiles, which he finally admits he has no intention of replacing - is paid. I'm no lawyer, but this feels an awful lot like extortion to me. So the end result: Accurate America got their money. We got stuck with replacing the paver tiles Accurate America broke and never replaced. And Accurate America gets this lovely review and a complaint to our insurance company for their unparalleled customer service and follow-through.

We hired D&D Tree and Landscaping for a concrete patio, fencing, and yard grading project, and…read moreunfortunately the experience was frustrating from start to finish. The concrete came out unlevel with poor finishing -- rough, uneven seams that are visible up close (photos attached, including a level showing the actual pitch). The grading between the sod and concrete was also never done properly, leaving big low spots in the lawn instead of a clean transition. We'd specifically discussed dimensions for a garbage can pad ahead of time, and it still came out too small for our cans to sit on properly. The fence work had similar problems: one post was warped, the decorative slats at the top weren't properly secured (visible gaps and loose fasteners), and one post was left without the decorative angle cut that every other post on the fence has. On top of that, they damaged our deck during the job, and we ended up having to go around them directly and file our own claim with their insurance to get it repaired. We gave them several chances to make things right. Daniel eventually admitted the work didn't meet standard and agreed to pay for a few of the fixes. But once we brought him three contractor estimates, he accused us of inflating the numbers and refused to pay anything. We're left having to pay out of pocket to fix work we already paid them to do correctly the first time. Photos included show the unlevel concrete, fence issues, grading, and pad sizing. Then, after his painting foreman inspected our home, Jim called me and said he couldn't do the job for the amount he originally quoted me. Now this would have cause apprehension if I was dealing with anyone else. But knowing what a truly good, honest man Jim is, I wasn't concerned at all. Jim then said he would do the job for several hundred dollars LESS. Jim's crew arrived very early, as promised. They checked with us to ensure we, and they, understood exactly what, and what not, to paint. They prepped the entire house - covering everything that wasn't to be painted and power washing. After waiting for the house to dry, they quickly and completely painted my house. When they were finished, my wife and I inspected the house - with the painting foreman. I had an absolutely A+ experience using Steve Rechsteiner to remodel our shower and I can't wait to…read morerave about it! From our very first phone call that he answered while he was walking his dogs, to his last drop-in to do a quality-check on the finished state of the shower, Steve gave us that white-glove, red-carpet treatment that you feel like you deserve when you're spending thousands on something (right?!) The impeccable quality of work speaks for itself in the photos, but it's the *customer service* that really makes a difference in my opinion. During the entire process, I felt like I was Steve's most valued customer. I proposed a Thanksgiving deadline that Steve made look like a piece-of-cake for him to handle, even though I know his workers, the plumber Henry (KMG Heating & Plumbing), his glass/measuring guys, and even his two young boys who dropped off the tiles worked hard to get it done in time for Thanksgiving. Steve was also incredibly considerate of my time and space. A wet saw had to be stored in my garage overnight while they were still working on the tiles for the shower. They kept to their word and their schedule, and the saw was only in my garage for one night as promised. Also, all walkways and carpeted areas were covered during the course of the job, so nothing got dirty or stained. Steve's workers Kyle and Daniel were at my house at 7:30 every morning during the job, and I appreciated that they were always right on time. They even went above and beyond more than once by doing things like taking down an old smoke alarm for me and replacing it with another one that I had. Also, they brought some white paint and patched up any areas that maybe got dirty or chipped during the remodel. I really appreciated that they brought their own paint for that, since I didn't have any in my garage. (Wish my window installers did that). And another fun thing, Steve brought over Domino's pizza for Kyle and Daniel one of the days and they got a whole pizza for me and my wife as well! It made me happy to see that Steve takes good care of his employees like that as well. The shower remodel itself took about 4 days, and as you can see from the pictures it turned out absolutely fantastic. The grout work, the niche, the fixtures, the hinge glass door, the new light -- everything turned out perfect. There are no defects of any kind in the workmanship. It really refreshes the whole look of the bathroom, and we're glad we waited a few extra weeks for the custom hinged glass door instead of a stock sliding glass door. There were no surprises in the invoice either when compared to the original estimate. Everything was priced fairly and accurately. We've been using the shower for weeks and everything works properly and drains well. I'm so glad we used Steve for our shower remodel and we already can't wait to use him again for our kitchen counter-top and other remodels in the future!

Dan at Beyond Roofing went the extra mile to source matching shingles, since the color of our shingles had been discontinued by the manufacturer. I about want to cry just thinking how lucky we got. They never raised the original price, they didn't play games, and most importantly... their work is top notch! Our house looks AMAZING. Other companies, you'll wait 2-4 weeks for material to come in, then another 2-4 weeks for the roof to be actually done. NOT with Beyond Roofing. One week! Yeup, within one week we had a signed contract and our roof done. We ended up spending additional money to re-do our decking... but it was our choice. What we suggest to people is do your research. Read the reviews. If they're off by a couple hundred dollars, go with Beyond Roofing. We regret not doing that from the start because it could've saved us 2 months of battling with another company who was shady, shady, shady! Todd inspected our roof and Dan did our contract. Both were super responsive and would get back to us with any questions we had (which were a lot).
