They only have a buffet and we weren't offered a menu if we wanted anything in particular. They had no iced tea but they carry Pepsi beverages. On the other hand we got there early when it opened. Before the renovations, I would have given them 5 stars but since the renovations and reopening in April 2026, I'm disappointed in the take out food options. They no longer carry pan fries noodles. It's more like fettuccine type pasta. I wanted pork fried rice & was told it was no longer available. I also ordered chicken fried rice and it looked & tasted like they took regular fried rice, cut up some chicken & mixed it in. Take out items was a thumbs down for me. Visited recently(8/29) and was really disappointed! The tables were sticky with trash underneath, and I had to grab my own highchair (after i asked for one & was given a booster seat). The food stations looked very unappealing with messy counters and food that seemed like it had just been reheated. Tried to brush it off but after trying the food...tried the sweet & sour chicken, potstickers, and beef & broccoli. The chicken breading was undercooked, the potstickers were rock hard, and the beef & broccoli had a strange fishy taste. For $16, this was not worth it at all. This place has gone downhill since the mid-90s and early 2000s and it's sad the probably thousands of dollars of great woodwork inside this place has not been up kept and is dirty and worn. Worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. It was actually inedible. We ordered mongolian beef, green beans, and spring rolls. The only thing we ate were the spring rolls. The rest, including the rice, tasted like garbage. When we complained, they did not offer to take the foul food off our bill. Best Egg Drop Soup we've ever had! We ordered the dumplings, sesame chicken and orange chicken. The steamed dumping were steamed gyoza and pretty good with the sauce. The sesame chicken and orange chicken were excellent! The orange chicken is very saucy fyi. Portion sizes were large could have been split between 2 people. The only down side was that the rice portion was small and barely enough. Also, someone in our group ordered sweet and sour chicken and it came out with the chicken already tossed in the sauce. Sweet and sour chicken is supposed to have the sauce on the side. Luckily, they were nice enough to swap it out with some with the sauce on the side instead. The staff was great! Several workers came over to say hi to us. I have no idea why this place has such a low rating on Yelp. The only thing I can think of is that the buffet isn't back open yet, but they said it should be within the next couple months. Chinese food is my favorite and this place hit the spot. read more

We waited about an hour for our food and when we received it we dug in. A couple bites in we noticed that the "chicken" did not taste right and had a very chewy, sour taste. We then took a closer look at the "chicken" and realized the meat was very odd in shape. Some had bumps, others were stringy ( like the intestines from an animal). I have no idea what they used but it was definitely not chicken. For your safety I would not recommend eating here please. Through the pandemic that has impacted all businesses in Gallup, this place has been able to provide food through drive thru service. We recently visited this place and have been aware that their buffet is closed. We ordered from the menu and noticed only 2 servers working and tending to about 15 tables total. These two servers were able to handle a small rush and get everyone situated. Our particular server was kind and super polite through the rush and managed to tend to all her tables. Extraordinary customer service from her with a polite demeanor! Not only that, when we were ready to leave, We asked for a tray for our left over order. One minute later,she came to our table with the small box and a cup for our sons water and told us she took care of our ticket. Super shocked, we asked her why! All we got from her was, "don't worry about it. I took care of it, I got it for you!!" We never got her name but we appreciate the gesture so much and made she she was aware of that! Food was cold to begin with. The fried rice with pork, beef and chicken had a strange taste, noodles was spaghetti, shrimp was mystery meat. My hot and spicy soup was cold. Spring rolls were overly fried burnt. The crispy noodles had a piece of white meat in it. Makes me wonder if they put back what was left on customer table. I had eaten here with my family, and the food wasn't fresh. Their egg soup was creamy and it was the last of it no one came to replenish the food, if you want the FRESH food you have to be there right when it opens. The price to eat here is ridiculous, they charge so much for non-fresh food. The service was neutral, but like i said my family and I didn't stay for long though. Man this food always disappoints me. It seems they take their food right of the freezer and throw it in the fryer. Super soggy!!! Anything that is breaded. The rice is a 2 out of 10. I ordered 3 items. Beef fried rice - very plain rice no additional ingredients very greasy. The breaded sweet n sour pork was very bad. Same with the orange chicken.
