So good. That chicken and rice is some of the best in town and the dolmas and hummus are also fantastic.

King Grill has always been great but they have improved upon their regular goodness. The gyro meat, dolmas, hummus and grilled chicken are over the top now. This right here is heaven on a plate. I am going into a food coma. Great job guys. My complement to the chef. You rock!

Hole in the wall. Good food.

Will definitely go back for the hummus and falafel. Dining room was a bit bland, so grabbed the veggie combo to go and headed to a nearby park. There is also a market next door with quite an assortment of items.

A gyro sandwich, some dressing and a couple pieces of lettuce.

I moved to Las Cruces from Seattle, WA in Sept of 2022 after nearly dying due to a faulty heart valve that I was born with. During my month long stay in ICU in Seattle, I told myself that if I made it and my prosthetic valve worked, then I was going to find a place and eat an authentic Gyro. After arriving in L.C, I found Tiffany's on Telshor and it was absolutely great. It was one of the best Gyros I have ever eaten. Then I tried Santorini on University and it was AWFUL. And, finally after Tiffany's closed, I decided to give King Grill a try. I had passed it several times and was curious and read the reviews which gave me hope. And now I have tried it. I don't know if the people that reviewed Kind Grill were on something or not, but I have to say...my experience is nothing like the reviews. First and foremost - real gyro meat is sliced from a spit.....not taken out of the freezer of refrigerator in a bag and warmed up. The meat is awful. It comes from a bag. The tzatziki sauce is not good. The pita bread...not good. The "Greek salad?" there was not even enough of it to keep a rabbit alive. Altogether? I've never visited this place in person and I probably never will. All I can say is........someone please convince Tiffany's to re-open because we need some real Greek food in this town. Please, please, please.

Food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The entrees arrived hot and in a timely manner. The ambiance is lacking but the food more than makes up for it.

This is their Combination Plate: Adana kabob, chicken shish kabab served with yellow basmati rice and salad.

I ordered for the first time through GrubHub it was sooooo good. I've been looking for a good Middle Eastern restaurant and this is it for sure. Seasonings aren't as strong as I'm used to with authentic Middle Eastern food but it's still very good and I will definitely be back for more

Combination plate, Greek salad, Lamb Shawarma, extra pita, and falafel. Fire!

Cool market next door, pick up was quick, the dude working the front was chill. These other commenters eat at Arby's & complain about mustard. Try it.

Gyro in Pita sandwich at King Grill. Lots of meat. Fresh veggies. Very good

Rate this Mediterranean Grill FOUR AND A HALF STARS for the dining experience. I had driven past this little Mediterranean restaurant many times and it never looked like it was open. It is attached to a little grocery store on South Solano. Today I just had to stop in after reading a bunch of reviews raving about the food. So, just what is the truth about this place? Since Tiffany's went out of business I just had to find out. Inside the ambiance is nothing special. It is clean and well maintained, but it is still a little gloomy in there. I will note that on this somewhat cold winter day the restaurant was freezing inside and customers had to wear sweatshirts and jackets!!! One young woman was handling the front by herself. She was very pleasant and did a nice job. The restaurant was not really busy but it still took almost 25 or 30 minutes to get my food. There is no urgency to get the food out quickly at King Grill. I will also note that the waitress immediately brought out and placed a bottled water on my table in place of the usual glass of ice water. What was that all about? Never had that happen before. The prices for the food are very reasonable, especially when you consider how large the portions are. Today I ordered the Chicken Shawarma on Pita and the traditional Gyro. The Shawarma came with fries or a salad. I opted for fries. Inside the pita there was a lot of chopped up marinated chicken. The chicken had a nice flavor. I would think coriander and turmeric were primarily featured. It was a bit spicy but the heat level would be acceptable to most people. The veggies were crisp and fresh. A little tahini sauce topped it off. This was an excellent and somewhat exotic sandwich for the money. Rate it an "A-." The fries were fairly good...not at all greasy. Rate them a "B" to a "B+." The gyro came with the traditional gyro meat. It too had a lot of meat...much more than other gyros around town. The veggies also were crisp and fresh. This was a very good gyro...upper level but perhaps not an outstanding gyro. The meat seemed to be a bit dry and lacked a little flavor. Rate it a "B+" to an "A-." So, if you go...you'll find a clean but very casual atmosphere, casual service that is still efficient and pleasant, food prep times a little on the slow side, prices that are very reasonable, large portions, and very good quality exotic Mediterranean food. Despite the casual atmosphere, the food quality is high enough to raise the restaurant rating to FOUR AND A HALF STARS. I'll definitely return.

After an appointment and an errand, we decided to try out the King Grill for lunch. Surprising enough when we entered, we saw three of our friends there for lunch also, so we ate lunch with them. We had two vegetarian plates, two gyro plates and a gyro with French fries. Everything was good, but I am used to a lot more meat in my gyro. The pitas were fine, but I have had better ones in the area. Service was fine.

Loved the lamb shawarma bowl. Very authentic. My to-go order took a little while but it's a small restaurant. Will try again.

Great food and service. With the overcast skies and a light breeze we enjoyed eating out on the patio.

The food is good and the employees are nice, but the faucet water in the bathroom smells like rotten eggs.

I ordered the Huevos Rancheros that comes with a side refried beans and a flour tortilla. To drink, I ordered coffee. There were two servers that day. Ours was the younger lady, who was not really engaged with the clientele except with some guy eating at the counter. When she delivered our food, she never offered to refill my friend's iced tea or my coffee. For almost 5 minutes I tried to get her attention without success. I got up to the counter where she continued chatting with the guy eating at the counter. I mentioned that I wanted more coffee, I was told that they had ran out and if I wanted decaf. She shook the thermos and she said that she still had some coffee left. I also told her that on the menu my meal included a tortilla. She never apologized for the lousy service. Very disappointing.
