    That's not focaccia bread?!

Over seasoned reconstituted potato's and bread. Covered disguised by cheese and sauce. Feels like last weeks food reheated. No vibrancy.

Today my husband and I had breakfast here and I could honestly say we really enjoyed it. I had the Southwestern breakfast and my husband had Biscuits and gravy along with orange juice and my coffee. When we arrived there it was busy, but we did find a table fast. Andrea was our server, very friendly and very informative of the menu. Staff are very friendly and on top of their work. Their food is great and on top of that, they also have a variety of baked goods and also serve lunch, but we were ready for a great breakfast! The whole cafe had a great atmosphere. Lots of very nice Halloween decorations. We will definitely come back again, but for lunch. Prices are reasonable and absolutely worth it. Here are a few pictures of our breakfast along with the variety of baked goods!!

We are new to the El Paso / Las Cruces area and while we have found some pretty nice cafes. This one has been the best so far. Definitely coming back. We sat outside with our pups under one of their umbrella tables. Our server was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Blintzes and Indulgent Latte. Both were delicious. My partner had the Cubano Latte and Southwest Bowl. He thought his Latte needed more sweetness but we got it iced so maybe thats why. And he loved the Soutwest Bowl. Needless to say, we cleaned out plates. Can't wait to come back and try the bakery items. We were too full this time.

This is a hidden gem in Las Cruces. It is such an understated location, so at first glance it may not really invite you in... but go inside! I promise, you will not regret it! I have been twice since the first time I discovered it and both times, the food has just been out of this world. The first time, I ordered the mushroom crepes and my husband got a fried chicken bowl. The mouthful of those crepes had me dancing and praising God! I really don't understand how the food tastes that good! The second time I ordered the chicken bowl because the last time I wasn't quite satiated after my meal. My friend ordered something that came with a soup, and was told the soup of the day was Carrot Bisque. I said "excuse me?!" The server repeated herself... of course I ordered a cup! Never have I ever tasted soup that slappin' good!!!! But I'll tell you what. I scraped that little bowl dry because I did not want even a drop to be left away from my taste buds! Go to Indulgence... Indulge yourself. You'll thank me later.

This is a very cute place, but a tad loud. The latte and bowl were outstanding! Hubs really enjoyed his taco salad. The place was HOPPIN' the whole time we were there, and it wasn't even a weekend day. Because of that busyness, our coffee and food didn't come out quickly, but it was worth the wait. And do you see those chocolate covered cream puffs? No? Oh yeah, that's right.... I shoved 'em in mah mouth before I took the picture! Can we say DELICIOUS?!?!? Would definitely stop in again, but me thinks NOT during a weekend!

It's kind of dark on the inside and when we first came in, it didn't really look like anyone worked there. It's a pretty good sized space and they easily accommodated our group of 9 without prior reservations. The interior is clean, but has a divey feel to it. The servers were pretty pleasant - no complaints there. So the menu... it's a lot. So many different options, but it's difficult to understand the theme of the restaurant. It's just all very confusing. OK so they have Boba which is Japanese, and then kind of keeping with that theme, they have different fried rice plates... but then they also have quesadillas... club sandwiches... there's no theme. I ordered a Lavender Milk Tea and built my own quesadilla with chicken, bacon, green chile and beans... but the star of it all was the sweet potato fries as my side. Will I eagerly try to go back? Maybe not, but if I had to, I would.

The owner is extremely friendly and her barista is equally welcoming. When you enter this establishment you are not just a customer but a welcomed guest. Some unique items you may find here: antique dishes, antique lamps, antique furniture, antique chandeliers, unique items such as antique pipe holders and fabric wall hangings. I have no doubt if you are looking for something in particular the owner either has it or will go out of her way to locate it for you. Further, the prices are VERY REASONABLE. As a collector of milk glass I am an avid antique shopper and I have a good handle on pricing. For example there was an antique chandelier priced at $95, and an antique end table priced at $30, and a ornate milk glass vase priced at $14 (I have seen this exact vase located elsewhere for double). I did enjoy a fabulous Raspberry Italian Soda, the perfect amount of flavoring, including whipped cream and a cherry. Super good!!! There are seats for relaxing with friends over a drink or dessert and the shopping is just a fabulous added bonus! Check back at this location as it has just opened and there is more coming in the future according to the owner. I will revisit!

They have since installed their machine so today we were able to get a quick lunch and it was in a word "wonderful." First the coffee. I just got a straight up café latte and it was great. The roast was perfectly balanced and I can say it was worth the wait. My wife had a chai latte which was also great. For my sandwich I chose the Norman Rockwell. I was a little nervous at first because I'm picky about my bread (no wonder bread for me, please) and I wasn't sure what Dave's Killer Bread was. But Dave really knows his bread and the sandwich was delicious. The atmosphere is eclectic but fitting and today we had a musician playing and singing Spanish ballads which was fun. There is also a little antique store that is worth browsing through. The only thing that would have made the experience better is the coffee cups are all disposable even if you are eating in and it would have been nice to have such a good coffee in a real cup. Regardless, this won't be our last visit and it is a great addition to Main Street. On a side note, 10 or 15 years ago my wife and I had a pumpkin soup in Germany that was amazing and has been for us the holy grail of soups. Since that time we've tried to find a recipe or to duplicate it by trial and error to no avail. But today we found that soup right here and it totally made our day. Finding that soup alone made the visit worthwhile.

They are simply magic here both in terms of flavor complexity and texture. Their texture here is truly the best. I literally was licking the plate at the end of each of these. I tried all four of their moles as plates and also as a sampler on four different occasions and all are very complex, rich, creamy and satisfying. -Mole Poblano. "A not so sweet ajillo pepper mole sauce with traditional ingredients and a touch of Oaxaca chocolate." This was the first we tried here and what brought us back for more. -Mancha Manteles mole: This mole is described on their menu as: "Sweet pineapple, red apples, fried plantain and a wonderful choice of spices make this mole a great and unique experience". This mole like their other ones came out piping hot, creamy, thick, complex and delicious. -Mole Negro: Chichilo pepper and tomatillo mole sauce with a smoky taste and a hint of ash. -Mole Verde o Pipian. Toasted pumpkin seeds and tomatillo mole sauce with a hint of hoja santa (root beer plant) My husband and I get their enmoladas stuffed with vegetables and get double serving of the black beans (rice has chicken stock so we avoid it to keep the meal vegan/ vegetarian). The plates are always piping hot and soooo yummy. When they have all four moles available they offer a sampler as well. We did this on our last visit and it was fun to revisit the 4 moles we had their side by side and compare them. I really love the ambiance out on the peaceful patio and there's cover form the sun.
