    Quesadilla and sweet potato fries

A group of us were looking for a chill place to meet up after class. It was not that long after lunch, so we thought Boba should be good! Well, this is not your average Boba spot. It's kind of dark on the inside and when we first came in, it didn't really look like anyone worked there. It's a pretty good sized space and they easily accommodated our group of 9 without prior reservations. The interior is clean, but has a divey feel to it. The servers were pretty pleasant - no complaints there. So the menu... it's a lot. So many different options, but it's difficult to understand the theme of the restaurant. It's just all very confusing. OK so they have Boba which is Japanese, and then kind of keeping with that theme, they have different fried rice plates... but then they also have quesadillas... club sandwiches... there's no theme. I ordered a Lavender Milk Tea and built my own quesadilla with chicken, bacon, green chile and beans... but the star of it all was the sweet potato fries as my side. Will I eagerly try to go back? Maybe not, but if I had to, I would.

My daughter and I stopped by for lunch today (our first time there) and all in all it was a pretty good experience! Nice, clean, quite and the staff was super cool (we'd go back for the interaction alone). Unfortunately at the time they had no fish or beef (supplies are finite and can run out, nothing to stress about) but they had plenty of options. I had the Thai wrap and my daughter had the chicken stir fry and both rocked! (Portions to prices are also super fair 8-14ish a plate but your not likely to finish everything) Honestly, check this place out... we're coming back for sure!

Great staff. Eclectic? Yea, with rugrat and other random (but cool) themed tabletops. The green chili wontons were awesome; the wraps could have had a little more seasoning, my friend said the chicken in her Thai chicken wrap was dry; sweet potato fries were seasoned well just pretty soft but with a nice crunch.

Consistently delicious. At the top of my list of local spots in Las Cruces. Green chili won ton soup is a favorite but all of their soups are amazing. Chicken salad with grapes and nuts is delicious. Love the friend green chili won tons as an appetizer to share. You really can't go wrong with anything here. Service is always friendly and atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommend!

If I'm craving the best homemade soup in town I go to Boba's Cafe! The potato and leek soup is semi-thick and has the best texture that I always enjoy. Shredded cheese and green onions atop the soup and even though it's made with few and simple ingredients the flavor is out of this world. I also ordered the Asian chicken salad made with perfectly crispy strips of chicken, slivered almonds, crunchy noodles, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers on a bed of greens. The special Asian dressing helps bring the entire salad to foodie heaven. Thanks Boba's! Please follow my Facebook and Instagram All Up In My Eats @allupinmyeats

Went here for a luncheon with a friend. Was very excited find out they had Boba and amazing food. The sizes of the food however are quite large so I ended up taking us some home and I ended up with two meals for the price of one Update may 2018 Went back a second time and tried pickup and unfortunately the food was not great. The salad was hot due to being places under a hot app. Tomatoes and cucumber were like rubber and inedible. Hot app was over cooked and unable to be eaten. The drinks are ok but not happy with the food Called in and they offered to replace the dishes with an IOU for a later date. Hey guys ordered in for my later date on the IOU and I was not impressed. Tomatoes and cucumber were like rubber and inedible almost like they had been sitting there for too long. The hot app it was OK. Perhaps this is a restaurant that is best used as a dine in.

The owner is extremely friendly and her barista is equally welcoming. When you enter this establishment you are not just a customer but a welcomed guest. Some unique items you may find here: antique dishes, antique lamps, antique furniture, antique chandeliers, unique items such as antique pipe holders and fabric wall hangings. I have no doubt if you are looking for something in particular the owner either has it or will go out of her way to locate it for you. Further, the prices are VERY REASONABLE. As a collector of milk glass I am an avid antique shopper and I have a good handle on pricing. For example there was an antique chandelier priced at $95, and an antique end table priced at $30, and a ornate milk glass vase priced at $14 (I have seen this exact vase located elsewhere for double). I did enjoy a fabulous Raspberry Italian Soda, the perfect amount of flavoring, including whipped cream and a cherry. Super good!!! There are seats for relaxing with friends over a drink or dessert and the shopping is just a fabulous added bonus! Check back at this location as it has just opened and there is more coming in the future according to the owner. I will revisit!

They have since installed their machine so today we were able to get a quick lunch and it was in a word "wonderful." First the coffee. I just got a straight up café latte and it was great. The roast was perfectly balanced and I can say it was worth the wait. My wife had a chai latte which was also great. For my sandwich I chose the Norman Rockwell. I was a little nervous at first because I'm picky about my bread (no wonder bread for me, please) and I wasn't sure what Dave's Killer Bread was. But Dave really knows his bread and the sandwich was delicious. The atmosphere is eclectic but fitting and today we had a musician playing and singing Spanish ballads which was fun. There is also a little antique store that is worth browsing through. The only thing that would have made the experience better is the coffee cups are all disposable even if you are eating in and it would have been nice to have such a good coffee in a real cup. Regardless, this won't be our last visit and it is a great addition to Main Street. On a side note, 10 or 15 years ago my wife and I had a pumpkin soup in Germany that was amazing and has been for us the holy grail of soups. Since that time we've tried to find a recipe or to duplicate it by trial and error to no avail. But today we found that soup right here and it totally made our day. Finding that soup alone made the visit worthwhile.

I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was pretty good. Not over dressed, this Mary had a stalk of celery and a olive and lime for garnish. The real treat was the beverage. It was full bodies and spicy. Liz enjoyed her Blue Hawaiian. The kids were content with their 1L bottles of soda. The avocado toast, Liz ordered was full of avocado. They used red pepper flakes to give it a little kick. It was very good. The toast had a hint of garlic to it, maybe. The acai bowl that I had came with four toppings I went with all the fruit toppings. Strawberry, blueberry, banana, and coconut, but honey, and or something else was also available. I didn't want very much to eat, so I was happy that they had smaller dishes. The kids were fine with a pizza, and they had 10" pizzas. Noah actually finished the crusts, which he typically leaves. There was a a guitarist that played wonderful renditions of old rock classics or newer jams. It definitely set the mood - calm and relaxing. Our servers were very attentive and kept us in the loop as the pizza and toast came out slowly. They also had pastries and cookies I recommend this little place one block off the Mesilla main plaza

They are simply magic here both in terms of flavor complexity and texture. Their texture here is truly the best. I literally was licking the plate at the end of each of these. I tried all four of their moles as plates and also as a sampler on four different occasions and all are very complex, rich, creamy and satisfying. -Mole Poblano. "A not so sweet ajillo pepper mole sauce with traditional ingredients and a touch of Oaxaca chocolate." This was the first we tried here and what brought us back for more. -Mancha Manteles mole: This mole is described on their menu as: "Sweet pineapple, red apples, fried plantain and a wonderful choice of spices make this mole a great and unique experience". This mole like their other ones came out piping hot, creamy, thick, complex and delicious. -Mole Negro: Chichilo pepper and tomatillo mole sauce with a smoky taste and a hint of ash. -Mole Verde o Pipian. Toasted pumpkin seeds and tomatillo mole sauce with a hint of hoja santa (root beer plant) My husband and I get their enmoladas stuffed with vegetables and get double serving of the black beans (rice has chicken stock so we avoid it to keep the meal vegan/ vegetarian). The plates are always piping hot and soooo yummy. When they have all four moles available they offer a sampler as well. We did this on our last visit and it was fun to revisit the 4 moles we had their side by side and compare them. I really love the ambiance out on the peaceful patio and there's cover form the sun.
