Steve and his krew are awesome, issues on 115 Mercury and bottom paint on 19ft Boston Whaler, they picked it up from slip, did quality work and fair price, and customer service.

They gave an estimate for a haul out a year and a half earlier and honored that price. They are knowledgable and do quality work. Steve went out of his way to solve a problem with a new prop. I had them do some extensive bottom work and it all turned out great. A special thanks to those who did the hard work. Steve pointed out, "It's been 8 years since your last haul out," to which I replied, "Yes, because you guys did such a great job, it lasted that long."

Before I bought my Catalina 30', I took it to King Harbor Boat Yard to have it hoisted out of the water and inspected. They made the process easy. The bottom needed painting. They did an excellent job. It ended up the boat needed a lot more work. King Harbor Boat Yard did it all, for the right price and in less time than they estimated. I have been back now three times for other work to be completed, and I wouldn't come back if I wasn't happy with the work. I just can't imagine trusting my boat to anyone else and can't recommend them highly enough.

I was in a real precarious situation, my shaft seal broke in the channel in Redondo and water was rushing in. We temporarily stoppedd it with a toilet wax ring. Called Steve and told him we could sink quickly making our way to the yard. He had men sanctioned on the ready on the hoist as we arrived. The team pulled us out of before we took on too much water. Steve and his team went through the boat, put a parts list together and gave us a reasonable estimate. Francisco was the mechanic on the project, not any easy job; confined space little room to work. Francisco was methodical and organized and got it done. They also did a great job on my Max Prop. Everyone is very friendly including they yard guys, Eric who has been there eight years was very helpful. So if you own a boat in Redondo or any of the surrounding communities you need to stop in and see Steve and the crew at Redondo Marine Center.

Had an installation on a Thursday. Failed two days later. I was told it's my problem.

Stay away. Made a real mess of my boat while it was there for bottom painting. Worst experience that I have ever had with a yard.

Our group was 4 adults, 4 kids, and our dog and everyone had a blast. I had done one of those regular glass bottom boats before and it was honestly boring. This one is way different. The boat has two levels. You start on the top deck cruising King Harbor where you get to see sea lions, and then go downstairs into this cozy underwater room with huge windows on both sides. You can sit right next to the glass and watch fish swim by like you're in a tiny underwater aquarium Captain Erik was amazing. He was hilarious, super interactive, and thoughtful. He noticed when one of my friends didn't have a jacket and made sure she wasn't too cold, let the kids try on the captain's hat, and somehow made everyone on board, including a few strangers, feel included. The sunset was beautiful, the ride was smooth and easy for kids and dogs, and it was way better than we expected. If you're in the South Bay and think you know what a glass bottom tour is, this one will surprise you. I get TERRIBLE seasickness and I did not feel sick for a second! Totally worth the traffic and we'll definitely be coming back.

Everyone is split into two groups, and each group takes turns going down to the glass-bottom area to look at the fish for about 10-15 minutes. The ride was about 45 minutes. A couple of tips: use the restroom before the tour since there isn't one on the boat, and don't forget to bring a hat or cap, water, and plenty of sunscreen. Overall, it was a fun boat ride! Our captain was friendly, and we got to learn some local history while seeing Redondo Beach from the water. It was a scenic, relaxing, and memorable way to spend time out on the ocean.

The Alchemy is a gorgeous 36ft Sailboat, it was very comfortable for our party of 4 (plus Geoff & Emily), but can definitely comfortably accommodate additional numbers. Our group sailed for 4 hours from Redondo to Palos Verdes (swim/lunch break in PV) back up towards Manhattan Beach before we returned to the lovely King Harbor Marina (parking is very convenient!). I highly recommend going with Alchemy Sailing over the larger companies that operate out of Marina del Rey. The setting is much more picturesque sailing around the South Bay, and you're not stuck for an extended period navigating out of the labyrinth that is Marina del Rey. Plus you don't want to miss out on sailing with Geoff & Emily, they really made the experience very special and I can't wait to go again!

Poor customer service and poor quality of boat. I have to…read moresay it's difficult for me to write this review as my family and I were very much looking forward to spending a beautiful day on the bait to celebrate my dads birthday. And all though we still made the best of it it really did not live up to what was promised and the amount of money we paid. So let's start with m: 1. The address did not match what was listed on their Yelp page and created a lot of confusion and frustration especially since we had kids with us. I had to text the owner, Mario, and he gave us another location to charter form which was not at all what was listed on their page. 2. Not sure if the captain of the day,Noah, was having a bad day or what but he was definitely not in the mood to greet us properly. He was very short, not so friendly and barely spoke to us during our ride. 3. The boat was not like the photos they presented or posted on Yelp. I even texted the owner and asked him to send me a few photos of what the boat will look like. It was definitely dirty, the coaches were so damaged and dirty they had black clothes over them. One of inside couches was wet, my uncle sat on it unknowingly making his pants wet and him uncomfortable for the rest of the ride. 4. The table surfaces were all damaged & chipped. We had to be careful for the kids not to get splinters when they would approach the table to grab something to eat. 5. Worst of it all was that we only watched cargo shipments for 2 hours!! On our phone call with Mario mentioned we can go through the canals and even get a far glimpse of the Queen Mary but we didn't. We even asked Noah to take us the other way around into the open water and he said no he needs to this way first (meaning by the cargo shipments). It was very disappointing since it was my dads actual birthday and the experience was completely robbed from us. It's very sad that we wasted over a thousand dollars and didn't receive what we had paid for. And I even texted Mario afterwards telling him our concerns but didn't get a reply back. Poor customer service.
