    Keema naan ($3)

I was walking around the area with my mom and little bro and wanted to eat biryani so I picked this place. One of the ladies was nice and answered any questions I had but another lady wasn't nice or that rude but she was kind of impatient. Anyways I wanted to order goat biryani which was $7.99 but the impatient one said they don't sell it on weekends since I visited on a Sunday, so she recommended me goat biryani but it's special and the price is for $10. Since I wanted to see how special it was I ordered a plate. She heated up the food for like 10 mins but that food was sitting in the tray and it's heated up at bottom behind the glass so when it came to the table, the rice was over cooked and goat had huge bones and barely meat was there. But because it was heated up with too many minutes in the microwave, the meat became super dry. Egg was hard like a rock and potato had no taste. The portion was super small imo since goat with the huge bones took up the plates. I bought other items, chicken Kabab ($1.50), chicken samosa($1), vegetable fritters? (2 for $1), chicken patty which is the huge triangle one ($2) and small round chicken patty was $1. I also ordered keema naan ($3) but very little stuffing so couldn't really taste the stuffing much. Overall, the total came out to $19.50 and I don't think I'll be visiting here again. Maybe for the fritters I guess if I'm up for it.

The biryani is so yummy and they do big orders too!

The new burgers and masala fries are delicious! I love the chicken tikka masala with the buttery naan it's mouth watering! Also the samosas and shingaras are the best no one can beat these !

Come hungry as there are many, many courses. Everyone who works here is so kind. There was an issue opening the wine we brought and Nur-E went out of her way to pick us up a new bottle (same vineyard!) during our meal. Unreal! You will not only eat delicious food, but learn so much about Bangladeshi culture and cuisine. This is truly a labor of love and I cannot recommend highly enough!

The ambiance is largely due to daughter Nure whose incredible passion and enthusiasm throughout the night in describing Bengali culture, history and food was incredible! Mom and daughter combine to create an unforgettable dining experience that for me is unmatched and never to be forgotten. They are such gracious hosts and make everyone feel like family. As delicious as the food is, be prepared to take a lot home. You enter Korai Kitchen hungry, curious and with great anticipation. You leave full, satisfied and part of the family! Sorry for the lack of pics. I just went in as soon as the dishes started arriving, eager to savor the meal rather than to record it. My advice: Just go! Its a culinary adventure!

I'm from Silicon Valley and we're swimming in Indian restaurants from every region. We initially came in for a quick bite before dinner plans in the area. I got a chicken lollipop and samosa and was surprised by how much flavor it had. My expectations were low since they said they didn't have any chutney to come with the samosa and offered ketchup instead. However it definitely didn't need it and had so much flavor and moisture on its own. As we were munching on our two small items, we were consumed by the smell of the other dishes they had. We left to dinner at the other restaurant and were completely stuffed, but I HAD to swing back to this restaurant to get some of their curries togo. I got one of the fish curries which had some pickled vegetables and one of the goat curries. I've never had this much depth in a fish or goat curry before and it beat out any I've had before. I was literally sucking as much of the gravy as I could from the bones when I got back because I knew I wouldn't be able to have this level of depth and flavor in a curry when I get back to California. The service was so friendly. They were smiling and chatting with us while we ordered and were attentive in the beginning even though we got two small items for like 5 bucks. I'm definitely making my way back to Astoria to have this again.
