I never received the phone call and that is why I am reviewing. I gave two stars because the salsa was amazing. It should be 1, but the salsa was the only redeeming factor.

Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck. "The Earths Best Taco" they say... that's a stretch!

However, the star for me is the torta...great bread, delicious roast pork, and whatever they're making the red sauce from, it's divine. They have a seating area on the porch of the U-Haul office. The staff working at the food truck are quite friendly. The menu there isn't that extensive. I opted for the Pastor tacos. I got 4 regular sized ones (if you get minis they'll give you 5), and in corn tortillas (they also have flour). The Pastor ones come with potatoes on the side, and a fork, I guess, to eat the potatoes with. The pork in there was definitely on the drier side, but still flavorful, although actually quite salty. Pineapple was most likely canned. Definitely not my favorite rendition. The potatoes were plain in comparison, but still retained skin, which I approve. I probably wouldn't stop by here again. They open at 6 pm Thursday through Sunday.
