Pastor Mini Tacos, Pastor Torta, Borracho Beans
    April M.

I grew up going to hardcore, punk, and metal shows on the St. Mary's Strip since grade school, and I've been coming to this truck ever since they first opened. The pastor mini tacos, pastor tortas, and borracho beans have been a staple for me for years--whether I'm out on the Strip, ordering on Uber Eats, or picking up to take home. I still have such a fond memory of getting cups of borracho beans back when they were just $1. In the winter, when I didn't have much spending money, those beans always hit the spot and kept us warm. That kind of comfort food sticks with you. El Regio is more than just great tacos--it's part of the St. Mary's St. music culture and nostalgia for me.

burgers were pretty good, filling but quite overpriced in my opinion , 2 regio specials included fires but no drinks for $27 , she was kind and had good customer service but little parking space

This is me not getting the avocado or onion

The mini tacos come with onion and avocado yet I was charged $1 extra for each and taxed on that. I showed her the overcharged. She gave me $2 back then didn't give me any avocado or onion, which should have been included.

Found this place on TikTok while visiting SA. I ordered a pasto quesadilla. It came out hot but it definitely looked like a plain taco with melted cheese. However, it was the best I've ever had. Nice portion size, fresh ingredients, and great customer service. Definitely a nice truck to hit!

Sweet surprise. Wife and I found by accident, definitely worth it. Price was good, food was prepared properly served and staff was friendly.

We had this delivered to the hotel nearby and it came in styrofoam plates wrapped up in foil. Quesadillas were pretty good especially for the price. It beats a lot of places around the area. Though I marked it down a star because the torta said it was going to be giant and it was basically your typical size. And it was really stale and wet bread. It wasn't worth to get it to be honest. So if you're going here or ordering from here, get the quesadillas.

Baby, when I tell you that these tacos are some of the best I have ever had in Texas that is not an exaggeration! Let me preface this by saying I am from California with the best taco reside, a very specific type of taco with a very specific taste. All the good Mexican food that I have had in Texas has been in San Antonio and it's because they have the specific taste, the taste that is home! Let me also say that this is right outside of a club that has amazing music and that when I was eating these tacos, I was not drunk yet. Therefore, the food was absolutely amazing and probably would've tasted even better had we went in the club before eating. Anyway, back to the food I got street tacos and a quesadilla and it was all amazing literally! The man at the window, so sweet, so and helpful; I love him. Please try these tacos They are mind blowing! 12/10. Also, check out the club there in front of 9/10.

This food truck is located in a corner that is currently a construction zone so no actual parking unless you cross the street. The ladies attending the window are very nice and our order was provided fairly quickly. Ordered the mini tacos with asada $8, a beef fajita Torta $9, beans $1.50, corn in a cup $3, Medio Litro Coke $3. Mini tacos are "OK" definitely not worth $2 each (even with the queso fresco and avocado) they are just ok on flavor but nothing special if that makes sense. Torta was good and filling. The bread was honestly the best part, fresh and authentic. It had fajita, lettuce, tomato, avocado, Crema, queso fresco. Beans, we're just your normal charro beans that you normally get for free at other places, we just wanted to try them but we wouldn't purchase them again simply because they weren't anything beyond normal. Corn in a cup... not worth it at all. It's boiled canned corn.. with the toppings. Nothing special there. Red salsa is spicier of the 2 but everything just lacks salt. I would stop for a Torta if I was in the area again but that's about it. When ordering your food ask for salt packets because they were not provided to us so we weren't actually able to put it on our food to taste the difference and since avocado is almost on everything, it definitely needed it.

I ordered from El Regio door dash and the tacos were tasty and good, but not great. However it's the overall experience paired with the good level tacos that made it a 3 stars. I paid extra for all 3 of their salsas and only received 2. As well as I ordered 2 chicken and one pork taco with the 3 regular combo and only received chicken. Don't get me wrong the tacos were a tasty and satisfying meal, but the incorrect order and missing salsa was unfortunate.

Came down to San Antonio from Austin for the weekend and stopped by this food truck for lunch! Me and my friends got the vegetarian tacos and the chicken tacos. They were nice and flavorful- especially with the green salsa! The service was good and it was around a 10 minute wait for the tacos. They raised the prices since the last time I came but they are still cheaper than a lot of places in Austin!

We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
