I spoke with them Wednesday morning and they arrived the next day at 7:45am sharp! Jose, Efren and Anulfo were absolutely AWESOME!!! They made so much progress packing the huge truck in the first hour, I asked if I could add extra stops. They checked with the boss and then said yes. So after loading all of my stuff that I was taking to my new home plus the stuff I was dropping at a friend's house, they loaded the stuff to donate to Boomerangs. We made those two drops, then unloaded at my new home (following a well deserved lunch break!) Then they loaded a few items from my new home and too them to my partner's storage unit. Jose, Efren and Anulfo worked a full day and kept smiling the whole time! I HIGHLY recommend them to all! They were fast, strong, affordable, efficient and careful. Our experience with King Affordable Movers was wonderful from start to finish moving from downtown to the suburbs. The quote and booking process was fast and transparent with Laura, who was extremely responsive and took care to explain their pricing structure. On the day of the move the team of 3 movers (led by Jairo, I believe) were absolutely awesome. They arrived early, and worked so efficiently. They were kind enough to help shrink wrap and protect some items I couldn't figure out how to pack safely. They took great care to protect our items and furniture and ask for our input about how we'd like things transported. My move went off without a hitch! The 3 men showed up on time and I was happy and surprised that they were all wearing masks, heavy gloves AND full face shields! They never stopped moving for 5 hours! They were extremely careful with furniture. I have a large delicate grandfather clock and was concerned how they would handle it. I never said a word about it to them, and as they were bringing the piece into my new house I was surprised to see how they had improvised to keep my clock safe. They had cut up some of my moving boxes to encase the entire clock for safety. They also plastic wrapped securely and tightly all my fabric furniture. After they had moved everything in they asked if I wanted to move anything elsewhere! They were all courteous And professional. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again myself should I need movers another time. read more

This is the best moving company around! I recently sold my home and moved my belongings from the home to storage. When my boyfriend and I then found a house, they moved his belongings from his apartment with one team and my belongings from storage with another team. During all of the moving activities, we were treated with such professional care of our belongings and our home(s). They were efficient, fast, careful and detailed. And, what a nice bunch of guys!! So friendly and kind and we enjoyed working with them start to finish. They moved us into our home this past weekend during the Boston heat wave. Where do I begin... Jeff and his crew helped us move last week and it was incredible. I have never had such efficient, hard working, strong movers before. They were absolute beasts in the best way possible! They were extremely polite, funny and didn't stop from the moment they showed up (even giving us a call when they were on their way with a precise 16 min ETA). They wrapped everything with care, moved an enormous armoire down a flight of stairs without blinking an eye (all past movers tried to charge a 'heavy item' fee and complained that it was big and awkward. This team did it with a smile. I can not recommend them enough. They also came within $20 of their quote (which Never happens). They were incredible. King Affordable Movers provided a quote for our move within minutes of my request and came in at a significantly lower price than other movers in the area. They responded to emails quickly and were even flexible when I made a mistake and had to change the date of the move after booking. On moving day, they arrived right on time and started to work immediately. They were friendly but no nonsense and worked steadily until the truck was loaded. They used a ton of shrink wrap and moving pads and tape to be sure our belongings were safe. At our new home, they even put special blankets over the door frames to protect the woodwork. They finished the move a whole hour earlier than expected and didn't leave until they were sure we were happy with the job and we were! I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

The crew made me a happy customer. They were courteous, professional, and funny. It was obvious that they were well trained by the way they wrapped furniture, organize them in the truck, and moved my stuff carefully and quickly, despite the hot weather. These guys are strong! I had many fully packed bankers boxes with books, and they carried two at a time. Impressive. At the destination house, I told them that I was switching the existing bed with the one I moved. Both beds are hand-made wood beds with joineries like Japanese puzzle-like system, but these guys not only disassembled the old one but also put together the new one. This was my third or fourth time using King and as always, the service was phenomenal. Domingo and his crew were awesome and got the job done as quickly as possible given the distance of the move. This is the second time Domingo has moved my family and it was great to see him as the frontman this time around. He gives great directions to the other movers and he is particular about making sure your furniture is placed where you want it. I had to rely on his inner interior decorating skills a few times because I just couldn't decide where I wanted things placed in the unit. They showed up 40 minutes ahead of schedule, got everything loaded in their truck in under an hour, and delivered it to my new home without a single scratch on it. Each of them were friendly and hard-working, and they made the stressful process of cleaning out my old apartment a quick and pleasant experience. This is my first review ever. King did a fantastic job moving a few pieces of furniture out of our home, including a very heavy sofa! We live in an older home with extremely narrow staircases and doorways. They navigated everything with expertise and ease and everyone on the crew was exceptionally kind and professional. I've never used movers before but I decided it was necessary because the apartment I was leaving was up a great deal of stairs. Trying to move half of my stuff would have blown my back out especially on one of the hottest days I've ever experienced in Boston. I suffer from anxiety and I had slept very little leading up to the move but the crew was incredible. They made a hard time so, so, so much better and the three of them worked extremely quickly and carefully. All while it was nearly 100 degrees with high humidity. Our team of movers (Francis, Torre and Anorfo) worked very efficiently to move everything from our apartment. They were initially 2 hours late the first day due to delays over a previous move. The movers made up for it by being very quick and careful with all our furniture and boxes. We are very happy with their speed and professionalism.
