Ive come here twice while postpartum to get some self-care. The first experience they cut my beautiful naturally long nails down because they weren't listening to my request. They didn't accommodate me in any way and just said I didn't hear you. I came back because I am postpartum, it's close to my home and I wanted to give them a second chance. this time I got a pedicure and I was told I'd be charged for them take my previous gel off. they didn't even fully remove the gel and the manager had to redo a nail causing me to wait 15 minutes past the complete nail service and she explained the original nail tech doesn't work with gel so that's why she made the mistake!!!! I was looking for a nail place I can go to during my lunch hour. I think I found it! I walked in and they were able to get me in and out within the hour for a refill, and they did a great job! I didn't even have to ask them to rush. Ivy was my nail tech. They have a great check in process, I wish most places followed their ways! I have been going to king nails for probably 2 years now and recently had Ann start doing my nails cause she had great reviews. I had the most appalling conversation with I am guessing a manager this evening after my appointment and said Ann doesn't want to do my nails anymore because I look at them while she is doing them and that makes her not feel confident. I have never once been rude to her and always tell her thank you. What do they expect, I pay $45+, yes I am going to look at them to make sure I like them. I work hard for my money and not going to leave with something I don't like (which I have never complained about Ann doing my nails) Such a disgrace of place and will never to be returning or recommending people. If Ann can't take someone looking at the their nails while doing them, she should probably find something else to do for work. read more

My MIL wanted to get a manicure. She is elderly and has good and bad days so we needed to be a walk in because I never know when she will be up for an outing. We walked in and they seated her immediately. Cindy came over and was very gentle with her. Her nails turned out beautifully. I had taken her in to another place and got a manicure and pedicure and it took 3 1/2 hours. That's too long for my MIL. We only did a manicure this time and it took less than an hour. This is it! Slamming busy on a Saturday but I was able to make an appointment same evening. They actually sterilize their tools and open the pack in front of you!! Also a new sealed bag of other items they use for you. As well as using a bag in the foot tub of the pedicure chair. When you get in you check in on an iPad with your number. I will not return. A lot of unfortunate happened on my visit - some my fault, but some not. This place serves a purpose - you can get grandpa, 5 yr old Nell, and Aunt Weazer all in at the same time with little wait, and they have all the nail designs from tasteful to ratchety. However, there isn't much relaxing here. Pedicure chairs are about 12" apart, there is little room to maneuver. Lots of noise and people roaming around, and (it doesn't matter what language is spoken) patrons can tell when they are being discussed. All this made me very nervous and I found it hard to relax and enjoy the experience. This is the Walmart of nail salons which isn't necessarily bad, but unfortunately without the accompanying low prices. Nail techs do a good job and are personable. They do a booming business, so I think lots of folks like them. However, for me, I was relieved when I was done and could leave. read more

Great place. Not exactly what I wanted but they try to make people happy and hand painting designs is not easy. Only problem, the people running the place don't like for people who go to nail appointments together to sit by each other. Over priced but still cheap ! went to get nails done for formal. was left with cuts and nubs. i paid 77 for acrylics and regular nail polish on my toes. i would've paid nothing if i could've. They tried to make up for cutting me and charging so much by giving a five dollar voucher. I'll never come back here. Also was judged for being tight on money when i was shocked my total was $80. also had a $10 off voucher they declined because it expires 12/31/24 and they were trying to tell me it already expired. I got my nails done here for a vacation, and the next day I had the most intense cuticle peeling of my life. One week later, it is an ongoing issue with no cure and seems to be getting infected. I am worried about the cleanliness of the place and that they rush cuticle care (I did have multiple cuts from them!). I have NEVER had anything like this happen after a gel manicure! Terrible manicure/pedicure!! The only good I can say is that the employees were very nice and welcoming. However, I got the worst manicure and pedicure I think I've ever had in my 26 years on earth. The paint job was sloppy and rushed, I was left with skin hanging off my nails and toes. The massage part was not a massage and did the least amount of massage work possible. I'm not sure if Vickie was new or nervous or what, but I will not be returning EVER. I had a friend with me who got a regular manicure no polish and had skin hanging off his nails and jagged edged finger nails. The sloppiest work I have ever experienced. I absolutely love this place! They do me right every time! Love the CBD pedicure! You can't go wrong with it.

I got a full set and pedicure with cat eye design. The nail tech was extremely rushed and did not push back my cuticles. The massage lasted less than 2 minutes. She clearly had not done the design before and couldn't use the magnet properly resulting in a blotchy uneven appearance. The staff were friendly, but the quality of work was extremely poor. 4 of my toenails have no polish on about 2 mm of the sides. The full set was better but very messy and there was no attempt to clean up the paint on the sides of my fingers. She also used a very dirty old buffer and dremel bits. For $160 I would really have liked more attention to detail and cleanliness. read more

The poor service and communication barriers in this place is ridiculous I have been here multiple times & every single time there is a sort of hiccup. It always seems seems small at the time but time after time the individual hiccups are now just an awful pattern of bad service. They bombard you at the door & rush you to check in, while reading over their full-to-the max menu of services as well as pick out a nail polish all at the same time. if you didn't need to catch your breath before you got there you will certainly feel stressed by time you get to take a seat. I have never been able to get EXACTLY what I have explained & asked for due to the lack of communication.. they say "yeah we can do that" but don't really understand & they end up doing what they want to do. I have even been told by one of their techs that "my skin was too dark for the color that I selected, and it wouldn't look good on me". The above comment made me stop going there for a while but out of location convenience I ended up going back, only to experience the same hiccups & rushed energy. Yesterday I walked in and there was already a situation with another client who was experiencing the same communication frustration.. she was asking for a specific fix on one of her nails & the tech didn't understand what she was asking so a manager had stepped in to try to help explain. The energy was already defensive. I deliberately brought a picture to show THIS IS WHAT I WANT so there would be no misunderstanding this go-round, BUT due to the already high intense energy, one of the techs BOMBARDED me before I could realize what was happening, I took one step toward the color-wheel and she gets uncomfortably in my face/space repeating "what color do you want?" I'm hurrying now trying to find the shade of pink & telling her I just walked in, and moving as fast as I can and she just keeps right on moving the color wheels and asking "what color do you want?". She keeps repeating the colors I'm pointing to and asking "you want on your nails? or you want on your feet?" but I'm not sure and she just keeps on pressuring me and finally say to her NO MA'M, THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT, CAN YOU GIVE ME A MINUTE TO MAKE MY SELECTION. She pouts, throws her hands up as if to dismiss me and she walks away. There's another tech sitting at the front counter, i narrow down and find what I want and ask if I could get 2 different colors and he responds, I let him know I had made my selection and HE SNAPPED AT ME "I'm on the phone!" and he points to his ear bud. I apologized to him, as I didn't realize he was on the phone. The original lady that walked away from me notified A manager & he comes over to get me seated & goes over the services and colors I picked out. I was then calm enough to show him the picture and he let me know it was only available to do with dip powder and since I was getting gel polish it couldn't be done. I accepted his explanation and he leaves. A completely different manager then comes over and we have the EXACT same exchange only she mentions that she's the manager and has to respond to any "problems" reported to her. I told her that I didn't know that there was a problem and asked her "what's the problem".. after I explained my color selection she said "there's no problem, we'll get you taken care of" and she send over a new tech to complete the services. I sat there in awkward silence, watching the staff all make eyes my way and discuss whatever the problem seemed to be.. my tech moved in silence completing the pedi then the mani and I left completely stressed out and was IMMEDIATELY IN TEARS AS SOON AS I GOT OUT THE DOOR. I wanted to voice concerns since this type of experience goes unreported. Since enough was enough and I'll never go back I figured it needed to be reported. I called & requested to speak with someone in person, but "the manager" who answered demanded I give him all the details over the phone and since I wasn't calm enough while explaining, he hung up in my face. read more
