The second nail technician was so behind and late my Pedi was almost done before she could start on my daughter and they didn't offer anyone else to take her place. My husband and I were able to walk in with little to no wait. We both got pedicures. I was greeted as soon I came in and they were all very polite and friendly. The place was clean and they used clean utensils as well. We also didn't feel rushed when it started getting busy, which was great! My $35 pedi (plus tip) was probably 20 mins of actual hands-on service. My feet were in and out of the water so fast I was stunned. There were only two other customers when I arrived so it certainly wasn't because they were busy. I loathe not leaving positive reviews for small business owners and have in fact deleted a few before actually posting because I like to give people a second chance. In this day and age with such a huge amount of competition, I would hope it would prompt better service to ensure return customers. Additionally, I have to concur with a previous reviewer about the bathroom condition...not the best. While the end result was not bad, the experience as a whole wasn't worth my money. The sign clearly says the special is Mon - Sun. when I told them I came in because of the special thing hey said is hey were not honoring it because they were under new owners and they decided 2 days ago that they would not do the special anymore. I get my pedicure here. No matter who does it , it's always neat and the massage is BOMB. My first visit I came in for a gel pedicure and removal of an acrylic big toe.They say that my toe nail was too weak to handle gel and suggested I get regular polish. Horrible experience. Only one other patron getting her nails done and two other female techs standing by. I wasn't greeted but rather waived over to the wall to pick a color. Tina was assigned to me and resisted my requests to not cut my cuticles and to file the nail in the shape I walked in in. Anything I asked was met with no eye contact and a huff. At a couple points she yelled over to her, I'm assuming, supervisor who came over to also resist simple requests. They laughed at me in Vietnamese-why, I still can't figure out. I asked them to use a softer nail file because my nails are tissue thin and the super rough/fake nail file was ripping them further. The supervisor insisted that's what they use because they have no other files. I had to ask the tech to buff the bottom of my foot in the places they were roughest and, once again, attitude. When she attempted to put the flip flops on without first removing the paint from my skin, I asked her to first get removed and clean the paint from my skin. Again, attitude and getting her supervisor who instructed her to clean up her mess. Just skip this hole. They could care less about you. I was going to get a simple manicure, but never here. Worst pedicure which is not what I would I even call it. Stopped in, first time said I needed a basic pedicure. Whole thing from start to finish took 20 minutes and half my toe nails aren't even covered in nail polish. I was shocked when I went to check out and they charged me $25 for their citrus pedicure. I even read the description of that pedicure and said you didn't do these things. He grabbed another lady who just said yes $25 and I told her he didn't do what they were charging me for. I have been coming to this salon for over two years. The quality has consistently gone down, but I've continued going because I'm a loyal customer. This recent trip was the last straw. I asked the owner for the ombré nails in the bottom half of the attached picture (but shorter). The shapes are not the same, the acrylic did not come all the way to the edges of the nail, and there was a large bump in the acrylic by the cuticle because she did not file the tops before painting. I asked her to fix the shape of a couple of nails before she was finished One nail had to be completely re-done because it was too bad to fix, and she didn't do the other. While she was fixing the one nail, she was telling me how she was the only one who would do my design at any salon because it's "difficult." I received the dead tree forest-looking nails in the top half of the attached photo. When I brought up that I was so unhappy with the nails that I just wanted them removed (I had already been in the salon 2 hours), the owner told me my nails looked fine and that she would be charging me for my nails AND the removal and that I should just have them repainted. The owner also explained to me that the mountains of excess acrylic by my cuticles and misshapen nail were because she did the ombré paint on the other end of my finger?????? When I asked the owner why I was responsible to pay for a bad product she herself made, and she told me that I was paying for her time (and therefore paying for a her product that I was unhappy with). Never in my LIFE have I been told I was financially responsible for someone else's BAD WORKMANSHIP. I had her repaint the nails so I wouldn't be paying for nothing, and not only did she still charge for the original set of nails, she charged for the second paint, which still looks awful. I didn't want free nails; I didn't want to pay for something that looked so bad and asked her to completely remove them. All in all, I paid SEVENTY DOLLARS for plain black nails that look worse than if I had tried to do them myself, blindfolded, with my left hand. Goodbye, House of Nails. This was my first time in and it was just ok. Went in for just an acrylic fill. I feel like there was a lack of care when they were doing my nails. Still have old nail polish on my nail where you can see it, polish on my fingers and they weren't painted all the way to the cuticle. I showed the women in charge of my nails a picture of thin French tip (I will post a picture of what I asked for). She went on to tell me she had been doing nails forever, and that this was easy for her. First 3 nails were great, so I stopped paying so close attention and let her have at it. She begins to start applying clear coat before asking how I liked the nails or if they were what I wanted. I immediately stop her and say "these do not look like the picture... can we try an fix these few", her response was a huff and puff and "you don't have that kind of nail shape, it can't look like that", then she picked up the drill, put it on level 10 and went to work turning my nails into shreds. Very nice people that work here! I got an ombré style nails with Leon and loved it. Edit: After another full set done there a second time, I'm editing my initial review. I originally scored them a 4, but they're more like a 2-3. The only reason why I kept them at a 3 is because they truly are nice people. However, I don't like the way my nails were done. I've gotten dip powder (SNS, Nexgen) for 6 years so I've seen the process so many times. This is the only place that I've seen that doesn't actually dip your finger in the powder. They use monomer (the purple liquid used for acrylics) and dip it in the powder and put it on. That defeats the purpose of getting dip powder! The purpose of dip powder is to avoid acrylic used products to strengthen your nails! The nail tech used so much product I had a lot stuck under my nails and my skin has started to peel under my nail and is painful. I was so excited to find nice people, but not with the way they do their nails. read more

I was already giving this place a second chance after they ruined my nails years ago. I came in recently for a simple gel set and pedicure. The pedicure was overpriced ($60 including tip) and they actually left some of my toes unpainted, which I didn't notice until I got home. I sat around and waited for about 10-15 minutes for them to do my gel nails. And when they finally got to me, the guy who did them completely rushed through so he could work on other clients. The entire time he did my nails he didn't ask what shape I wanted and just threw the nails on quickly and the color after I told him what color I preferred. There were several times when he would get up and do something else and then finally come back and work on my nails again. Everything was so rushed that parts of my nails were unpainted on the sides. There were globs of color on the backend of the tips and he left nails covered with bubbles or dust that set into the gel. And when I complained or asked him to fix it I was met with irritation. He acted like I did something wrong. Then instead of fixing anything I was rushed into paying and they completely ignored any requests to fix the nails. I was charged $110 including two separate tips because they wanted to split both services instead of creating one charge. These were the worst nails I've seen in a salon. I didn't feel like a valued customer, but instead felt like a paycheck. They just cared about the money. Later I called upset because of how they treated me and they responded that they couldn't fix them until Monday. It was Saturday and hours before they closed. I'm honestly shocked they're still in business because of how they treat people. Not only that, but it's an absolutely filthy establishment. The floors were very dirty and there were several times I saw workers wearing their masks incorrectly. The nail table was dirty and messy. As they worked on my friends pedicure I noticed the guy used a dirty foot scraper. And several of the foot spas had cracks in them which can allow bacteria to grow. All in all I won't be returning to this facility and hope they get shut down. It's not only a terrible business, but an unsafe environment. read more

The customer service wasn't the best to start off. I was shuffled between three different nail techs before they even started. I also asked for dip and without saying anything she started doing acrylic. After her coworker and I argued with her about it she said she would put on white gel polish. (Which I didn't want!!!). Then after she got frustrated with me she began to file my nails so hard that my cuticles and fingers BLED. Even after getting blood on all of her tools she put them back in her basket to use on someone else! After I washed my hands and came back she had disappeared. Literally disappeared and I couldn't find her anywhere. I wanted to ask a manager or someone to fix my very crooked nails but found out nobody wanted to listen to me.
