They are a scam. They tried to take advantage of elderly. The pump didn't work when we tried to gas up our car, someone came out and asked us for cash. We said we didn't even pump anything into the car. He turned around and produced a receipt that was timed 1h before we arrived. They were very rude. We said we were gonna call the police. Came here for a state inspection the other day. They did it but apart from not giving me any documentation, my check engine light came on the very next day. Popped the hood and several of the tubes and plugs had been unscrewed and disconnected from my engine. I work at a place with its own mechanics and it took them ages to put things back into place and they said there's no way it would've just come apart on its own. $35 for a state inspection but were probably hoping I'd come back for service on my brand new engine. read more

The only reason they got one star is because I can't give them zero, or deduct from what they already have. I've been to this place twice. The first time, they wanted to overcharge me for a repair, so I took it back to my old mechanic and he did the repair in under an hour, for free. I had to drive to Haverhill, but it was well worth a tank of gas. The second and last time, was today. I pulled in for gas and didn't see that it was full service. I got out to use the pump, as you do. The individual who must pump the gas decided to try and yell something, from the next pump down, on the other side, during heavy traffic. I have auditory processing issues and don't always hear things correctly, which, for all intents and purposes, makes me partially deaf. I asked him what he said and he did the exact same thing as before, so I didn't hear him. Then he walked away. I proceeded to go about getting out my card and trying to use the pump, at which point he started yelling again and got close enough this time, for me to hear him say "That's three times! Three times I told you "Get back in your car for service"! You see those police over there?! Are you deaf?!". I honestly felt like saying yes. Instead, I just got back in my car and drove to Speedway, which is only a block away. What a garbage person. These people are terrible. Don't waste your time, or your money. read more

Horribly rude mechanics. I do not recommend. Don't give your money to these jerks. They refused to inspect my car because it was "dirty" it had dog fur on a dog hammock in the back. I don't see how that matter for a state inspection. Additionally, my other car "failed" here but then passed at another shop. They said I needed $500 worth of repairs to pass. Do not trust this establishment. If you do a search online you'll find that the city of Woburn and Medford has had their fair share of trouble with them and they have had locations shut down in the past. My problem was with a simple state inspection. The guy put a failed sticker on my windshield citing that the headlight was not oem. So I went home and corrected it. When I brought it back he unplugged the bulb connector and told me it wasn't working. Also claimed it wasn't aimed correctly. He wanted $15 to fix it. Didn't have much of a choice considering he already failed it once. Once they fail you. they'll run the show. Go some where else for a state inspection. I know I won't be returning. STAY AWAY! REALLY. -100 stars This man is a complete scam artist. The only thing is he's really crappy at even being a scam artist because he keeps saying the same lies. He should really come up with a new fake story to give people because it's getting pretty obvious that this is his pattern. I came here for a state inspection, and had recently had my car fixed/checked by my mechanic. Upon arrival I should have just turned around and left. I pointed out I needed wiper fluid and a new blade. He said no problem that he'd just do that before for 20 dollars. But then it got weird. He said 'Oh if I happen to find a light out, should I fix it? I said I would like to see anything wrong first, and mentioned I had just had the car repaired and i'm sure my regular mechanic would have spotted it. He said oh, well they miss things sometimes. He told my husband I to wait, and 'inspected' my car in 7 minutes (the start time and end time are indicated on the report). I didn't hear him even honk the horn. I stood watching as he barely touched my car. He then goes, oh your brakes are bad you failed. You need a master cylinder too. I told him I just had them done less than 10 months ago 'Well they did a bad job,' he says. I immediately drove to another mechanic that inspects on the advice of my regular mechanic and he said my breaks are completely fine. When I questioned him, he got angry, and was like are you going to pay? What do you think we do here?! He also failed me for windshield wiper fluid (WHO DOES THAT?) He also failed to give us our inspection report and I had to go back to get it from the front desk. I am in the process right now of reporting him to the registry and have filed an Inspection Station Complaint Form. I called him back to tell him my brakes were fine, and that he could make things right by giving me my sticker and he said that I must have had them fixed (sure in 15 minutes I got brakes done.. we must be on a different time space continuum) He also lied again and said the inspector from the state would come to his location and look at my car (that's not true, the look at HIS practice, and MY car separately). He is basically trying to scare people into not reporting him! Well, he picked the wrong woman to mess with. I certainly hope he will lose his inspection station credentials. If I could give this place zero stars I would. My family usually goes to John's service on Beach street in Malden for inspections or if we have any sort of issue. John's was not available today and they could not do the inspection right away today (though they usually could), so we went to king petroleum. This is probably the third or fourth time we resorted to going here. EVERY TIME has been a SCAM. They always some how manage to tell my father that all three of our newer cars has issues. One time it was because my tints were too dark on my car and so they could not pass my inspection and they would take off my window tints for $200 to pass for inspection. SCAM, because all other shops have passed my car with the current tints I have (WHICH ARE NOT DARK AT ALL, NEVER GOTTEN PULLED OVER OR ANYTHING WITH THEM). Today my parents resorted to this place and the guy working there tells them my mothers vehicle has failed inspection because her air filter is broken, and how they could immediately fix it for $200. On top of that, he asked my father for $45 even though INSPECTION IS ONLY $35. My dad does not understand English too well, and the fact that this scum bag would try to scam him is ridiculous. And according to other reviews this is not the first time they scammed people out of their money. Who the fuck ask for $45 when it literally is $35 for inspection, so what? you can pocket $10. Refused to give my husband back his credit card until he paid (even though we had gotten no gas). He was extremely rude. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. This service station had a broken gas pump that did not pump any gas however their machine stated I pumped 5 gallons. They then wouldn't give me my credit card back until I called the police to intervene. The whole time, my wife and 2 year old son were waiting in the car. I would have given 0 stars if it was possible. Lets start from the worst part about this place. 1 the gas is all water. The couple times i got gas there my check engine light came on. My mechanic said it was from bad gas. 2 the gas attendants are rude and swear at there customers called my wife a Bitc@. I call the owner who then says oh i have 3 witnesses that say your wife started the argument. Now mind you i was on the phone with her the whole time. And last but not least be careful they like to take your money and say you short changed them by 5 or 10 dollars. And will call the cops who already know that they do this and just tell you not to go back so you dont need to deal with the drama.
