I am SO glad to see that I am not the only one who had a wonderful experience with K&C autobody and sales. I am also glad that I asked my trusted neighbor for a recommendation after I scratched up the passenger side of my friend's car after she had loaned it to me for an errand. There were horrible white streaks on the front door and the back door had some damage as well which affected how it opened, I think. Anyway I was terrified that it could not be put back to its original condition and/or that it would be expensive. Paulo ended up quoting us an unbelievable price, got the job quickly and completely. He even did a thorough detail and cleaning of the interior and exterior, leaving my friend's car better than when I borrowed it! My friend was so happy that she wrote a 5-star review already here. Everyone is so nice out there, especially the mechanic.....if it is a minor thing like looking at the tire for air leak, won't charge and moreover I inflate the tire for free. I fill the gas there as well, would definitely recommend. read more

Depot Automotive is the ABSOLUTELY BEST. Being a young female sometimes it's hard to find places that aren't out scam you, but these guys are the most honest and genuine people I've ever interacted with. Greg and Nick are so knowledgeable and kind, and always have my and my car's best intentions in mind. While my car was in their shop for a repair, they saw my inspection sticker was about to expire so they went ahead and got an inspection done to make sure I'd pass! When they called to say my repairs are done, they also let me know the good news that a new sticker had been put on. As a recent Wakefield transplant, I needed to find a reliable local mechanic. Saw the previous reviews of Depot Automotive, and decided to give them a try. My car had several problems (loud exhaust, air conditioning and a shifter issue), all of which were repaired in hours, and incredibly inexpensively. This place! All the mechanics and the boys who pump the gas, are very friendly and professional. Nick, who I'm pretty sure is the owner, has helped me many times - two of which I just showed up, he helped me, and sent me on my way. Didn't charge, or express how ridiculous the reasons I were there were (embarrassingly, I'm completely car illiterate!). They do not charge you extra for anything and they give you 100% the most fair price. I went, without an appointment, to ask if they could change my oil. I woke up this morning to a dead car battery. Being new to Wakefield I started walking around until I found the nearest mechanic. I walked into Depot Automotive and was greeted by Nick, I told him about my situation and he drove me down to my car to jumpstart it. I brought it down to his shop and left about 15 minutes later with a new battery. Nick was very nice and seems like a truly honest mechanic, which can be hard to find.
