This was honestly the worst late-night food experience I've ever had, and it was on my first night in New Jersey. The customer service was terrible--the guy at the counter didn't bother to explain what they had available or even try to make me feel welcome. The pizza on display looked like it had been sitting there since the first shift. I ordered a shrimp parmigiana hero, and it was a complete disappointment. The bread was hard as a rock, and the shrimp tasted like cheap frozen breaded shrimp straight out of a bag. For the price, I expected at least some quality and effort, but this place failed on every level. Save your money there are plenty of better late-night spots than this one. read more

Stuck in a hotel for a few days. Just ordered a pizza from these guys after reading one of their reviews that praised their pizza crust. I will say they put some love into their crust. It's by no means that cardboard crust type that has been plaguing many pizza shops these days. And, their pizza sauce is not sweet like so many others. I absolutely can not stand a sweet pizza sauce. So, with that said, A+ for the crust and sauce. I got half plain and half pepperoni, light sauce and extra mozzarella. Tastes good and no complaints except the extra mozzarella is not really extra. Delivery was fast and friendly. What would be even better, if good pizza shops like this used that cup and char pepperoni. I'm sure it's a little more expensive but it's so worth it. read more

i got the pasta carbonara and it was way too creamy and not even very cheesy tasting. my boyfriend got the pasta with garlic and oil and it was way too oily. I had slices and a pie or two here before, so the pizza is ok, but we called in an order (One pie. Plain. That's it.) on Saturday night and were told 25 minutes. We show up about 18-20 minutes in and no one is there. No one behind the counter. No one in the kitchen. No one in the bathroom. Waited almost five minutes before anyone showed up (all while the place was completely open to anyone who wanted to come in and do anything - not saying much for their food safety). This is a very solid local pizza place. The inside is what you would expect, there are tables to sit at. The guy who owns the joint is clearly a Jets fan, so don't wear your Patriots jersey there. There is a large flat screen TV which is cool, good for football. The food is great. The garlic knots are covered in delicious olive oil and some grated cheese, they are also served with a side of their tomato sauce. The sauce is good, it isn't sweet like some pizza places like to do. The pizza is really good, it's well seasoned and a decent size. Just the plain cheese is great. There are a lot of options here besides pizza, they do hot and cold sandwiches, pasta, salads and even some dinner dishes. The prices are also fair here.
