Finally had some time to stop in and try Johnny's for lunch today. We ordered an assortment of slices: grandma, Sicilian with pepperoni, plain, and spicy pepperoni grandma, and a rice ball. All of the slices were freshly made and heated up to perfection within the oven. The grandma slices are a favorite of mine and hands down Johnny's has one of the best options around. It had the proper cheese to sauce ratio topped off with some Parmesan on top on a perfectly crisp crust. The rice ball was deliciously crisp with its exterior and packed with flavor inside and paired with a great marinara sauce. We also ordered a plain pie and knots to go and even in the midst of their crazy lunch rush it was done and ready in less than 20 minutes. We arrived at a good time as parking is limited and fills up around lunch time. There is ample room to eat inside or just get takeout as well and wait. They also offer free delivery to most of the nearby towns which is a great plus, we will definitely be ordering more! Johnny and his staff are professional, friendly, and provide a fantastic service. I am obsessed. A friend told us about this place few months ago. We have ordered several times. I am currently doing keto and asked if they did options for cauliflower pizza and yes they do !!! The cauliflower margarita is AMAZING !!! fresh basil, garlic, chunk tomato !! I thanked them 2nd time I ordered and they gave us some powdered fried dough for free. Did that 2x now !!! Great new place! We went in one night after work and got a few different slices, garlic knots, wings and the garlic knot chicken parm. Everything was delicious. The place was clean and the staff and owner were all friendly and welcoming. This location is tough getting in and out of and the establishments don't seem to last long. I called ahead to ask if they had a selection of slices on the counter to choose from. The restaurant told me, "Yeah buddy... I have 25 different pies." Instead of ordering some pies that sounded good ahead of time, I decided to just go in and choose. 25 choices is not what I found. There were in fact 8 to choose from. The person on the phone was off by almost 70%. Big disappointment from the start. Thier product was very inconsistent. I spent almost $100 and tried slices, calzones, pinwheels, and almost everything they had on the counter. Some items were floppy and undercooked. Others were cooked nicely and actually worth eating. Most items lacked flavor, despite looking nice. There was one or two which actually tasted pretty good. That said, if they were so good, why can't I remember what they were less than twenty-four hours later. This place has a lot of potential, but unless management steps up and trains the staff to be consistent, this will just be another place amongst many that are not worth going out of the way for. Perhaps ordering some pies from their menu would be a better experience than just walking in and seeing what is available. read more

The menu is extensive, the portions are great and Johnny and his employees (and deliverers!) are all wonderful! My experience with Johnny's pizza by Don Bosco Prep was the WORST. The staff were a little bit slower than most pizza places and the food took longer to deliver after people order in from them. Great new addition to the neighborhood. They have gluten free and cauliflower pizza! Escarole and bean soup was good. Hubby really liked the chicken soup.
