This place has amazing pizza!!! Love, love, love the speciality slices, especially. After doing a ton of take-out orders, this was my first time dining in and it was great. The pizzas are incredible and everyone is super friendly. It's your cozy, neighborhood pizzeria. My go-to spot when I'm in the area, and it could be yours too!

Love La Gondola! We've been coming here for years and it is a staple pizza spot in Bergen county. Our go to pie is bacon meatball and sausage well done. Their speciality slices are amazing as well I'm a huge fan of their chicken bacon ranch. Service is friendly and helpful. We usually order in the store or over the phone for pickup depending on the day and time and how busy they are. I've dined in once or twice and the interior is very clean and comfortable. Parking in the shopping center can get a little crazy on Fridays and weekends but otherwise it's easy to get a spot. I wish they offered delivery as it would make take out way easier but otherwise this is still one of my favorite local pizza spots.

Pizza comes out hot and quick! Came in just before noon and all of the pizza was fresh. The white pie was amazing. Penne vodka is the best. Serve the whole menu at lunch just no table service.

Great pizza spot tucked in the back of a large-ish shopping mall. It's hard to find this place on Google maps (might be worth creating or updating the business page) . When you drive into the parking lot, you'll see kohls to the left, and Aldi to the right. Go in the direction of Aldi and then you'll see a giant sign that says "PIZZA" slightly to the right. - that's it! When you walk in, you're greeted with a large variety of pizza options and 3-4 people who assume you're ready to order instantly. I went with the pesto margherita, campignola (saucy), and classic grandma. My favorite was the classic grandma. I would have liked the pesto margherita to have fresh mozzarella. Campignola was good but the crust was too thick, I'd try the reverse pie called Brooklyn next time. There is ample seating to chose from which each table having its own toppings (paramesan, red pepper flakes, pepper, etc).

I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York and have moved around from Connecticut to New Jersey and I always have a hard time finding a good New York style slice of pizza. I finally found it when I moved to this area and luckily it was the first place I tried. It just is the perfect slice of pizza as far as the taste and texture of the crust.

    Perfection!

Having grown up in NJ, I take my NY and NJ style pizza very seriously (and yes there is a difference bw NY and NJ pizza). Growing up in NJ, Fridays were pizza days at school! So when I come back home, La Gondola is the place we go to! The pizza here is perfection on every level. The cheese pull is divine, the sauce tastes like home and the crust is always just right! Been here a bunch of times with family and the service is wonderful, the pizza is divine, and there's a decent amount of seating! Love this place and highly recommend! They also have a good music playing because I'm always Shazam-ing songs when I'm here. Lol. I was here a few weeks ago and look forward to visiting again on my next trip to NJ!!

I grew up in NJ and lived with my wife in Ramsey for years. I lived away about 18 years ago to Ohio. Back on NJ last night I went to La Gondola! Still great, still friendly, excellent Pizza! If you're in the area, I recommend it wholeheartedly! Excellent!

Everything on the menu is vegan, but my family truly could not taste any difference when we visited. We ordered the Oreo protein pancakes, blueberry pancakes, penne with vodka sauce, and a breakfast burrito. Since I turned vegan, I've been craving pancakes so the food really hit the spot. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted incredible. The penne was also so flavorful and was maybe our favorite dish. The breakfast burrito was also filling and tasted great. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of food and would come here regularly if I lived in the area. Additionally, the prices were super reasonable and are definitely more affordable than the average restaurant in the area. Chelsea was our waitress and I want to give her a special shoutout because she was particularly helpful and friendly to us. She did an excellent job answering our questions and even was willing to share general tips on vegan cooking. Being that I was attending a pool party today I offered to pick up sandwiches for lunch for a group of 9 and called in an order for 2 hours later. Sadly 3 of the sandwiches arrived on ciabatta bread instead of focaccia, which was quite disappointing as the only reason the sandwiches were picked were specifically to get the focaccia. And, one of the sandwiches we asked for no sauce as it was spicy and she can't eat spicy, and it arrived with sauce, smothered all over. I understand everyone has an off day but almost half our orders were wrong. If they had run out of focaccia for example, I wish they would just have called us so we could have adjusted our order. Not even sure if that's the case or if they were just rushing in the kitchen and just threw everything on ciabatta but either way today was not a good day for Morano's.

Janice, the owner, mentioned that this "sometimes happens with last-minute orders" and said she would look into it and call me back. There was no apology, just an implication that the issue was due to my timing. I never received a call. I ended up having to adjust my menu at the last minute, which was stressful, and the lack of follow-up from a place like Morano's felt unprofessional. I had hoped that once the Thanksgiving rush calmed down, someone might reach out with an explanation or apology, but that never happened. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

At the register, it was a little confusing as there was no line that had formed. There were people standing in front of the register and the young employee would just shout "next customer" and someone would decide to go next. In my opinion, I think the back room should have a door or curtain just for the employees privacy. I would not want customers seeing me eating or on my phone while I'm on a break. I'm sure most people know it's a break room, but for those who don't would be wondering why there are people sitting when the front of the store has customers waiting for their order to be taken. Back to the food... I got a panini with mozzarella, tomato, basil and chicken (additional $4.50). And I also go the Clean Green smoothie. They gave me a numbered placard so that someone could deliver my food to my table. The panini was good, but unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the ends of the bread was soggy. For something that was just made, the bread should not be soggy like it had been sitting in a liquid for a while. The smoothie was ok. I think they put too much vanilla extract in it because that was the only thing I could really taste. I think the banana needed to ripen for another day. Also, there was a grainy texture and I can't figure out why as there was no powder added to it. According to the menu, the ingredients are coconut water, banana, cucumber, spinach, dates, and vanilla extract. The total for my sandwich and drink was $31. This is an ok but overpriced lunch. We started with the arugula salad, which was absolutely delicious. Very fresh and crisp. The cheese on it was amazing. You could tell it was high-quality and we loved the sun-dried tomatoes. We then moved onto mussels in a red sauce they were very good. They were not stringy. They were not dry. The sauce was delicious but I would've said go a little bit later on the onions next time, but overall, it was very tasty. The pizza was definitely the stand out here.
