You end up having to pull, push, or wiggle the door to make the lock engage. Doesn't matter how many times they come to adjust it. It just happens again. The secondary foot latches are garbage and frequently don't engage, or get stuck in the locked position and require kicks rather than toe-taps to release them. The hardware is low-quality and, unlike our previous Marvins, you cannot choose your own - you have to buy what they offer. Don't.

A day before the appointment I receive a text telling me "as a reminder - the appointment will last 60 to 90 minutes:. I immediately called the office and told them nobody informed me it was going to take an hour to an hour and a half to get a quote and that I will not have that much time to meet with them because I had a couple of other contractors scheduled to come by on the same day to give me a quote. They said they would make a note of that in the computer. On Saturday 8/8 Greg from King Quality shows up on time. He asked me if I was getting other quotes and i told him: "Of course I a. Wouldn't YOU?" He disingenuously shrugged his shoulders and said something like "I dunno. Maybe" I told him: "Don't be silly. Who would spend thousands of dollars on a home project without getting a few quotes first???" Then he proceeds to give me a very, very, very long sales pitch. We're standing in front of my house and he's just going on and on and on about his company and their process and their reputation and blah, blah, blah. Finally I had to cut him off and tell him" "I'm sorry, but I really do not have time for all of this. Can you PLEASE just give me a quote for replacing my roof?" He said that was a part of their process. I told him: I couldn't stand there listening to him talk for half an hour before he could even start doing anything else. (He hadn't even gone up on the roof yet!) He clearly got upset because I wouldn't go along with his long, drawn-out sales process. His attitude changed (became visibly upset) and said he would just email me the quote and then he stormed off. Over a week later and I still haven't received the quote. I was seriously interested in having King Quality replace my roof. I had already researched them and was pretty confident they would do a good job . But I'm not going to subject myself to an arduous, time-wasting sales process - especially when there's plenty of other roofing companies who would also do a good job and at an affordable price without all of the extra, unnecessary, boring sales talk!
