It never fails that every single veggie tray I get from there has bad tomatoes and broccoli. The tomatoes are so sour and I didn't have a single good one in the platterpatch. I shop at the Timberline King Soopers more than any other grocery store in Fort Collins. I am a loyal and frequent customer and usually very happy with my shopping experiences. But twice this week I waited way too long to get checked out. Sunday July 13 at 8 am I watched an employee in a gray KS vest (an assistant manager, possibly newly promoted?) with come in. She talked to several employees being social, no problem. Then she went behind the customer service counter and was drinking coffee and chatting with two employees (so three people doing nothing) while the only checker had a line of four people that was moving really slow because two customers had very full carts. The assistant manager did not seem to notice that there was a slow moving line. Eventually a young man slowly walked over and opened up a new checkout. At the same time, the self check had a very long line. Not enough staff or people not doing their jobs? I'm not sure which but there were employees around who were not paying attention. Then today, Wednesday July 16, I was at the store around 9:30 and there was a long line at the self checkout near the front door. There were probably 12 people waiting. Eventually the second row of self check outs was opened. But it should have happened faster. I hope management can get this straightened out. I generally appreciate this store which is within biking distance of my home and has almost all the grocery items I need. read more

Last week I was cursed at twice and hung up on by the pharmacist. The other day I was told by the tech that my 11 years old child would have a lifetime ban on early refills because I accidentally spilled his liquid medication he needs. I've had many bad experiences here over the last 6-7 months. I've had a few great experiences but sadly it's not the norm. I don't understand why the staff goes out of their way to be so rude. I really hope some training and support can be given to this staff so that this community can simply pick up their prescriptions without having to encounter these awful and stressful experiences with the techs and pharmacists. I did see the pharmacist I had the experience with has two admonitions on their license in the last few years. Unfortunate that something as common and necessary as filling a prescription has to become so negative. Today same pharmacist further issue with the same pharmacist. who can I speak to about this? I just want to be able to fill prescriptions with accusations and hostility. read more

I frequently go to this store as a instacart shopper. It is not one i go to as a regular shopper. Its too far from my house. The produce department is laid out a little differently from the other stores and i have a little difficulty finding stuff sometimes. The produce and deli folks are always friendly and helpful if i have questions. The meat department folks are not very helpful or friendly..... at least not the ones i have encountered. hence the reason for the 4 star review verses 5. The store is clean though and generally well stocked. They also have a lot more products than some of the other stores just because they are a bigger store. They have a line set up for when you go to check out. You just wait in the line area until you get called to a line unless you are going to self check then you can go over in that line or just go and check out. The cashiers and baggers are generally friendly. This is a nice store and if its closer to my house I would go to it to shop for my personal shopping. :) read more

I am a regular shopper of the king soopers on timberline in Fort Collins, I went in this morning, Sunday, January 14,2024, to find that the marked 6 or 8 more parking spaces for these lazy ass people that can't even shop for themselves. Why don't you block off the whole fucking parking lot and have people park at the bank or maybe take an Uber or some other form of transportation so you can keep on catering to these lazy asswipes that can't go into your store and shop for themselves. Hey, have you stupid assholes at corporate thought about parking for seniors? Maybe you should reserve parking for them too. Hey, I am blessed to be able to walk. That is not my point. The point is that you are not giving any thought to the majority of your customers. This is the most logical grocery store for my weekly shopping but I dread coming here every time. There is always something I need that's out of stock. The isle at the back of the store has so many displays/items piled on the floor, that pushing a cart through with everyone else feels like sitting in Denver traffic at rush hour. They need to remove the piles and get a smaller cold island by the milk. It causes a choke point between the island and the end caps. I get a small bout of anxiety every time I have to shop here. Whoever designed the associated gas station must have been out for revenge. It's pushed so close to the road that navigation in and out is ridiculously tight. There is no where to wait for a pump without blocking someone. The employees are friendly and I appreciate that. read more

I was shopping at this King Soopers on 6/13/22 when I heard my name announced over the PA system requesting I go to the Customer Service counter. I couldn't imagine why. As I was proceeding to the counter I checked my pockets, phone check, car keys check, wallet uh oh! When I got to the counter the representative asked my name and promptly handed me my wallet. FYI the wallet contained all the usual items, licenses, registrations, ID and $123. I asked who found and turned the wallet in, but she couldn't identify the exact employee. I wanted to personally thank the employee and offer them a tip. She advised me that employees cannot accept tips. I was disappointed that I couldn't thank this employee but they who know who they are. SO, PLEASE ACCEPT MY SINCERE THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY, CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY. This was always my favorite KS when I lived in Fort Collins, It's huge, with a great selection. Since I moved away, they've added to the meat and cheese section, and the selection of cheeses is now pretty impressive. However, they need to keep an eye on the stocked items on the shelves. I went to buy a couple bottles of that beer mustard they serve at Coopersmith's, and every bottle on the shelf had gone bad - as in completely separated, chunky. Disgusting. In fairness, that seems to be the exception as opposed to the rule, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to this KS next time I'm in the Fort. read more

Shopped here regularly. Restocking staff are constantly around and blocking aisles with huge carts. You will wait forever for deli staff even when there are 4+ behind the counter. Their ovens and other duties come before customers. Never enforced masks during Covid. read more

I've been shopping consistently at this King Soopers for the last 4 years and it is the best King Soopers I've been to in Northern Colorado. The layout is great and easy to maneuver - 100 times better than the one on JFK and Harmony. The staff is super friendly. I feel that the gas points are worth it. Also, the ClickList option to shop online is super convenient. We have started to use it because I am getting surgery so I just have to shop online with ClickList, drive to the store, and they bring the groceries to the car. I don't have anything bad to say! read more

The best KS in town by far. Always clean, stocked, and easy to shop. The staff members are typically very friendly and personable. I wish I could remember the lady's name who helped me this past summer because she was fantastic! I was looking for a patio table and she spent over 30 minutes calling other stores nearby to try to locate one for me. Her customer service was bar none! The only thing that irks me about this place is it can be a pain finding somewhere to put my cart. They seem to have a shortage of cart corrals compared with other locations. I don't mind it in the summer, but in the winter it's a pain hauling a cart through piles of snow. read more

Long story short...my doctor called in a prescription (Timberline and Drake). I was told it was 'out of stock' for 5 days. Not good. But then on Sunday 'Shannon' the pharmacist called me saying she could fill my prescription immediately. And she did...efficiently and with compassion. I purchased 2 potted cactus plants. They kept losing leaves despite my watering them correctly. I took them back to KingSooper and they refused to accept them. I did have the receipt and it was within 30 days. They just don't take back any plants per management. What? I am now out $21.00. They should be required to post that in the plant section. King Soopers I did not frequent much until this store opened off of Timberline and Drake. I love their pumpkin chocolate cookies which I found out that you can get them all year around and not just in the fall. Their deli is great and has much to pick from. When I need help at customer service the sales associates are always eager to help and competent. One thing though that I was not impressed with was their photo developing lab. I got some pictures developed here which they had to send out. It took weeks to finally get the pictures because they fell somewhere and they had to finally dig through the drawers to look for it because I annoyed them enough in wanting to know where they were. Never again I said I would I use their photo developing services and I have not used them since. Other than that I enjoy this King Soopers, it is close to where I live and better than other grocery stores on my side of town. read more

Best King Soopers I have been to, and I have been to a ton. Always clean, always stocked, and really great service.

Decades long customer of king soopers, going back to the early eighties before most of you were born. Repeatedly, every time we shop, never had anything like this store. Come in with my son and buy close to $300 worth of food, always bag our own stuff and want a cart to load it in so it doesn't jam up on the belt.... they tell me to get one myself and to not be rude to the employees. Seriously, anyone with a big order, loading & bagging their own stuff should have a cart to put it in and not have to wait until the cashier's done and everything's jammed up on the belt. Next time I will stand off to the side and play on my phone and let you ring and bag and do everything yourself. Seems like that's the way this king super's wants it done cuz customers that are helping and bagging quickly will not be given a cart to put it in and are chastise for asking for one....wtf. Also, was looking for large bottles of real lemon, asked an employee and he said he was off the clock and wouldn't help me. Then when I was leaving, he yelled at me "in the f***ring parking lot as to why he wouldn't help me. WTF. Employees yelling at customers in the parking lot? I've had a lifetime of customer service and on or off the clock, the customer is always right or you deserve a review like this. Shame one you. read more

If you can shop at the North College King Soopers, it is far better to spend the time getting there than shopping at this Timberline store. I went shopping this morning and literally could not get down the chip aisle for all the stocking carts and employees. No one made an effort to clear a path or even acknowledge my presence. I was blocked in a produce aisle by an oversized trolley being used for pick-up orders and a trolley full of produce. There was no one bagging groceries so I did it myself although two employees were chatting three feet away. My cashier grabbed one of my bags with one hand to lift it into the shopping cart. It ripped and he literally threw the contents into a new bag. Better yet, shop at Lucky's and Sprouts! read more

This has been our go to grocery store for five years. The last few shopping experiences have us questioning if we will be returning to this store. Today the seafood counter smelled so bad we avoided that section of the store. The customer service has definitely deteriorated. I give this king soopers a A+ for lots of reasons I sometimes have long lists and take a long time to go through the grocery store. There is always people there to help if needed and constantly ask if you need help throughout your trip. Today I had Dana H. as my checker she was friendly and very helpful. The Associate Shawn that had helped me bag my very large order and also went back and helped find the last item on my list and brought it back then proceeded to help me to my car and load grocery's which I will always take with a crying baby that needs in the car.
