I was impressed by how well behaved, friendly and affectionate they were. I talked with her for over a hour, getting to know her and to see her 3 week old puppies. She does extra things to help prepare the puppies for their new forever home. I was very happy to know that at the early age of 3 weeks, she starts cutting their nails once a week. She is all black but looks just like my Bella. After just losing my best friend of 16 amazing years, I thought I would find another little pup to help fill the void of missing my companion. I was approved after completing my application and phone interview and was able to meet Kali. She was quite nervous and a bit aggressive about meeting me but I saw something in her that I knew was sweet. Cheryl the owner of Rompin Paws asked me to take her for a trial to adopt so I could see how she is with me at home. As soon as we got home she came out of her crate and looked around and new she was home. She wasn't aggressive, didn't bark. She's been the absolute sweetest fur baby I could have asked for. I know my Bella would have approved. I can't say enough about Cheryl and Dawn the volunteer who interviewed me. Trust me, I read some of the past posts and reviews but I have to say Cheryl is passionate about a cause near and dear to a lot of us. Saving poor abandoned dogs, I applaud her tenacity. Cheryl is a very good person with a heart of gold. Working with Cheryl was an extremely unpleasant experience. She was rude, condescending, and often…read moreseemed detached from reality. Communication was confusing and unproductive, and she made several inappropriate and bizarre comments--including personal remarks that were wildly unprofessional. We did our best to comply with all of her numerous and often unreasonable demands, staying patient and cooperative throughout the process. Upon reaching our breaking point with her antics we finally reached out to say we no longer felt comfortable moving forward. Cheryl responded with a lengthy, condescending email claiming that the dog we'd been speaking about had "numerous applications" and was already adopted. This was especially frustrating and confusing because just hours earlier we were supposed to meet the dog and possibly get to adopt her ourselves and had not been told about any of these other applications or that she might be adopted before we were able to visit the shelter. The entire interaction left us deeply uneasy. It's heartbreaking to think that someone so erratic and controlling is making life-changing decisions for these animals. For your own sanity please steer clear of this place. This place feels like a for-profit puppy mill, providing incoherent and inconsistent advice and posing as an animal rescue.

My late has been years ago adopted kitties from perfect pals and he just kept raving about how wonderful they were. I knew we needed to surrender them so I immediately reached out to Purrfect pals to see if they could accommodate us. I received a wonderful email from Susan who is the intake manager saying that they would be happy to take the kitties, they wouldn't separate them because they were brother and sister And they would make sure that they went to a wonderful home. My fiancé brought his daughter up there and as difficult as it was, she saw how beautiful the sanctuary was and knew that they would be given to another wonderful home! We are so thankful that Purrfect pals took the kitties because the last thing we wanted to do is give them to King County or to a kill animal shelter :)

This time I decided to go with a Lion Cut. I'm sure it wasn't the most pleasant experience for him, but the end result was a very handsome cat. And so soft. I really do think he enjoys his new look. I'm very happy to have found Jennifer, she is truly an artist.
