She tells me I don't have a floating jaw without ever seeing me despite what I was told by 2 other dentists. She said I needed implants or I could not wear dentures. I am wearing my old broken dentures and keeping them in with a previous soft reline. Halfway through arguing with this woman she then said they do soft relines. I can't do implants as I don't have enough bone. I finally just hung up on her. It wasn't worth arguing with someone who would also lie to me. Nope Nope Nope. No thank you.

When I went to that appointment, the doctor wouldn't do it and talked me out of it for some reason saying I looked ok and didn't really need them and he told me they was a little hole in one of my crowns that I should spend my money on, they never told me about it before which seems like malpractice. Also the last time I had a cleaning the nurse had a hard time getting to the spot between the wisdom tooth so she told the doctor who said we may have to pull that wisdom tooth so she can get to the spot, yes pull a perfectly good tooth! I had to cancel the next cleaning because I had a doctors appointment at the same time so she canceled the appointment but didn't reschedule another appointment so I called to ask for them to reschedule but never got a call so I will find a dentist that will do the work but it was a rude experience from someone that is supposed to be professional.

My tooth pain started on July 27th and initially felt like it was coming from teeth #18 or #19. Over the next week and a half, I saw three different doctors, including a general dentist, my regular dentist, and an endodontist. I went through multiple X-rays, cold tests, tapping tests, a CT scan, and even had different areas of my mouth numbed to locate the pain. Despite all of this, no one could determine what was wrong. As the pain became severe, it started feeling more concentrated around my crown on tooth #14, with sharp pain, tenderness, and lingering sensitivity to cold. Still, I was told the problem might not be dental and could possibly be neurological or sinus-related. At this point, I was frustrated, exhausted, and starting to question myself because I strongly felt something was being overlooked. Desperate for another opinion, I scheduled appointments with 3 different primary health institutions. Still thinking this is an oversight and dental issue, I found Fife and Steffen Endodontics and called them. Even though this was technically my FOURTH opinion, they treated my situation with urgency and got me in the very next day. Dr. Phan was incredible. He patiently listened to my entire story, asked detailed questions about the timeline, repeated the necessary tests, and went even further by carefully numbing specific nerves around the crown to isolate the source of the pain. He was finally able to confirm that I DID in fact need a root canal. I actually teared up when he told me because after seeing three doctors and being told it might not even be my tooth, I finally felt heard and reassured that I wasn't imagining what I was feeling. Dr. Phan thoroughly explained everything, helped manage my pain until treatment, explained what to expect afterward, and even made himself available by phone/text if I needed anything. You don't normally walk into offices where you feel a team really working together, especially when their offices are separated by walls. But at Fife and Steffen Endodontics, you felt their passion to care and the warmness you would feel in a home. Thank you, Dr. Phan and the entire Fife and Steffen team, for listening, validating what I was experiencing, and going the extra mile when I desperately needed someone to. After everything I went through, I am incredibly grateful that my fourth opinion led me here. If you're considering Fife and Steffen Endodontics, with or without insurance, I cannot recommend them enough.

The front office staff is always pleasant. You seldom wait. They tell you up front what YOUR share will be, so no surprises. They have the process down with an iPad so no old paperwork anymore. The dental staff is AWESOME. Always explaining to you what is happening. Making sure you are Ok. Letting the Doctor know if you have concerns and just NICE people. They are SOCIAL and polite so you feel comfortable with them. I especially enjoyed Nelvie on today's root canal. She made it so much better, even if a root canal. I am a seasonal resident and LV Endodontics is now my Las Vegas office for any endodontic needs. Dr. JB White is my dentist in Las Vegas and another awesome provider. One note, LV Endodontics will REPEATEDLY call you to confirm your appointments. As an adult and responsible person who is 15 minutes early, calls if I am running late or something comes up, and lets them know ASAP if I cannot make it, it IRRITATES me that we ALL get lumped into one bucket.
