I was looking for a new place to go to since the one I was going to changed hands and it's not that great now. I read the reviews. Some praised some hated. To be expected but didn't help me decide. So I took a chance. The place it's self has been in this location for 20+ years. It's a bit run down but not terrible. The owner is a very sweet gentleman who did my nails. I wanted a French manicure with tips. He did a wonderful job and they look pretty real. The shape is a bit off but I also know fresh tips always look that way. But he had them done in 45 min. Then I had a pedicure. The chair was a bit hard to figure out but still felt good. Full manicure with colour. The massage felt so good. Reminded me that the felxology place in Killeen is a must soon too. But I really don't have anything to say badly about this place. They are kind, friendly, gentle. They did a great job.

I can only say good things about this place. Came in with my boyfriend for a good pedicure. Did not disappoint! The owner (winson) was awesome! Made us feel very welcome on our first trip. Complimentary wine was a nice bonus. Less than $100 for two spa pedis that lasted over an hour each. Definitely will be back

First off, they were super friendly when I walked in and throughout my experience here. I loved chatting with my nail tech but when it comes down to it, the job was very rushed and my nails look and feel terrible. Underneath my thumb has been the worst pain by far but I asked for almond shaped white nails with the dotted flowers on my ring finger (look on Pinterest for ex.) and this is what I walked out with.. (I know I should have spoken up, but the man was super nice and I was already ready to get out of there) also, I did already have to ask him to go over my white a little bit because he left it very streaky Fast forward two days later in the second picture, I'm scabbing on my fingers. $70 later

Painful experience with rude unapologetic technician

So disappointed. I previously had a 5 star rating after visiting for several pedicures. After my experience today I will NOT being going back. I went in for a simple manicure. I hadn't done one in years and wanted to teat myself. I asked for my nails to be filed short. The manicurist proceeded to file into the nailbed of almost all my nails. I continually winced and pulled my hands away yet she would some how go back to that nail and continue. I wanted to leave at this point but thought I might be over reacting, I should have. She then gets the cuticle nippers and after doing the cuticles on on hand starts to TRY AND CUT AWAY MY NAILBED so you can't see her mistake! THIS IS HOW DISEASES ARE SPREAD. At this point I told her she had to stop. Someone else stepped in and finished my polish. Now let me say, I have had a cosmetology license for 10 years now. I spent 4 years specializing in state board training. With this knowledge I was able to spot a few red flags in this place. In the picture you can see the bubbles in my polish. The fact the they didn't have bottles clearly labeled tells me they are pouring the CHEAPEST product available into their bottles and using it on you. Also she brought out a "sterilized" package. Yet the pink indicators on the corners told me the pack had never seen heat. Once again THIS IS HOW DISEASES ARE SPREAD. On a personal note. I am a stay at home mom who's husband is deployed and RARELY get to take time for myself. When I confronted the nail technician about causing pain and filing them to short. SHE BLAMED ME. They then proceeded to sit and discuss me like I want there. I felt so small and stupid. They took away a nice realxing time and I left in tears. If you want quality nails, DO NOT GO HERE If you want to sterilized tools, DO NOT GO HERE If you want to be treated nicely, DO NOT GO HERE.

Is no stars a choice? This was my first experience here, I usually go to Chloe's nails in Killeen. I didn't want to write a yelp review at all but this place is terrible. I paid $55 dollars for a full set with clear polish. I got them done Sunday and they were already falling off the next day! And today I'm going on losing my third nail. I'm not talking about chipping them either the whole fill is coming off in one piece. So, I always get short coffin shaped nails to stay in accordance with the army regulation (blah blah blah) and they always look fine. Coocoo was the one that did my nails and he repeatedly told me they would be ugly if I did short coffin nails,NO, they're ugly because they are all different shapes and sizes, which I did bring up while he was doing them. I'm going in today to get the three fixed but to be honest I would just like a refund.

This place was a little bit more expensive than I'm used to paying for a fill. I usually pay around $35 for a fill-in and the price here was 43, but the service was good. My nails looked good and the atmosphere was very inviting. What impressed me is that they offer you complimentary drinks and not just water.

Beautiful fix of a hack job done somewhere else

Very quiet and relaxing. I had my two year old with me and they got her suckers and drinks and treated us both to a relaxing afternoon. Came here to get a new set of nails because the last place I went did a terrible job. My nail look so much better now I wish I had come here first.

I found this place on Yelp after going to my usual nail place and they were closed during regular business hours. The reviews were great so I figured I'd give it a try. The place is humble but clean. I was greeted by CooCoo who asked me what I would like today, then offered me a drink. CooCoo made conversation while he did my nails but paid very close attention to what he was doing. He did a great job on my nails. He took his time and made sure every nail was perfect. I absolutely love my nails. This is quite possibly the best full set I've ever had. Thank you so much CooCoo.

Not impressed, very rushed job. She did my 'pedicure' in less than 20 minutes. Paint on my nails were super sloppy I had her fix it and it still didn't look good (because she rushed it again). On top of it I wasn't even at the dryer for 10 minutes before she said oh let me check your nails. She tapped my nail and said it was dry and gave me my shoes. I never had a nail shop rush me out of their shop like that. Needless to say I won't be going back.

Unfortunately I have noticed about a week after my manicure pedicure at welcome nails salon I have a fungus and my nails are starting to pull away from my skin. Everyone was so nice there and it looked so clean I'm definitely disappointed, but I do understand the risks of going to a nail salon. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse before I can get help from my doctor.

I had an amazing experience here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The nail techs were really nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], I got a great mani/pedi & they just recently remodeled so it looks fabulous in there. Oh and the free drink earned them bonus points from me lol. Will definitely go to them again. read more

My husband and I got pedicures, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]they were so friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did the deluxe pedicures, and I enjoyed them a lot. I almost fell asleep many times. They had relaxing music on, too. I recommend them. read more

Overall my experience and the quality of my nails was ok. Cant say I would come back tho. There were just too many other things wrong with the shop. When I walked in, I almost walked back out. It's kind of shabby compared to other salons. I should have expected that based on the shabby shopping center it's in. Shop presentation costs then the first star. I went on Sunday around noon and was taken right away. There were 3-4 workers (only one woman) and only one other customer present. I was offered multiple types of drinks and the water temperature was perfect. Usually I have to ask for warmer water. Only one employee (I think the owner) spoke English. (Not to mention he only has about 4 teeth on one side of his mouth.) This cost them the second star. Very inconvenient to have to wait for him to leave his customer to come to me and tell the other employee what I'm saying. One person did my pedicure and then someone came from the back to polish my nails. My pedicure was pretty good, I got a basic and it came with a lengthy massage. As the other employee was polishing my nails it seemed as if she was teaching the guy who did my pedicure how to polish nails and cut cuticles. This made me feel as tho he wasn't licensed or properly trained. This was the third star. Last but not least, there was a dog there. Very small like a chihuahua and didn't bother anyone, but unprofessional. It came close enough more than once that if I was scared of dogs, I would have left. read more

Overall the shop atmosphere is family oriented, really clean, and the manager (Enny) is very welcoming & inviting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My concerns are: not being able to lock an appointment with one technician, constant changes to technicians when appointments are booked in advance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Additionally, the manager tries to push nail polish colors such chrome which is an additional $15 add-on charge rather than regular nail polish or gel nail polish. Some people do not like metallic colors, weird patterns, and textures. Thus, the shop has limited nail polish colors while pushing overpriced add-on colors. Currently, nail services have become very expensive, new styles, and trends have made this a luxury. However, when nail technicians try to finesse customers with additional add-ons in order to make more money for colors and designs that are tacky and overdone. Most women want simple, luxury with a little piazzas - not glitter, metallics, and designs on all 10 nails. I don't recommend this establishment due to poor business practices and approaches - to good customers seeking quality nail care and glamour. They have lost a really good client. I have been twice for pedicures, once alone and once with a friend. They offer you a drink and get you comfortable. Thry make you feel like you're the only one they're worried about. The whole experience is wonderful and I will return. I've gone on Sundays both times and find it's not crowded or loud. I chose them because of location and ratings. With another shop just a short hop from them, I picked this one and feel like I made a solid choice. I dont get my nails painted, but my friend did. They looked great, and so did mine. There is handicap parking immediately in front of the shop. They helped move my arm crutches out of the way and give them back to me as I was moving out of the chair, so if you have a disability they're very accommodating. read more

Great staff, except for some. My go to place for pedicures ONLY. I have an event coming up and decided to get acrylic nails. I had told them manicure & pedicure but, while they were doing my manicure I reassured them I wanted acrylic nails. Not only was the guy upset but, I've never had someone do my nails so aggressive & careless. They also had me pay before getting my acrylics done but with the job they did, I wouldn't of paid when they were done. VERY UPSETTING. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN! Not only did they charge me $70 for something I didn't want but, I heard the guy telling others "for you it's free" or "for you it's $5". read more

Be careful to make sure you ask what he charges. He (the owner) will be nice until he messes something up and once you tell him he did it wrong, he will charge you to fix it. He became aggressive. If you want customers to come back and you didn't do a nail the right way and they just spent alot of money, you would think he would fix it. BE AWARE! read more

I tried this place out twice and was very pleased UNTIL I got fungus on two fingers. I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I've never gotten anything like this. When I went in to talk to the owner, who did my nails both times, he was rude! I was so shocked that he pretended to never see anything like it before and was acting like I was crazy for asking about it. Clearly he doesn't clean or replace his equipment between clients! If you want to get an infection or get attitude when you ask what to do for the infection this is the nail salon to go to. I have never given a negative review for anything I just feel like its important here because I wouldn't want anyone to have a similar experience. I went in to be nice and ask for help and was treated like crazy person :( not fun! read more

This is my third time coming to this nail shop and they have done exactly what I've asked for each time. I learned tonight that this shop is FAMILY OWNED which makes a huge difference when it comes to them not rushing the work and making it right for the customer in the end (within reason of course). I HIGHLY recommend them for their services! read more

My first visit went better then any by far since I've been in Killeen. I tend to do things early and find most of the time people are still half asleep. Every one here was alert and welcoming when I came in at 9:45 they offered me water before I even got to my chair which I appreciate. After going to a few places where steps were skipped and doing half ass jobs scrubbing and rubbing it was refreshing to not feel rushed out of the place or like things were skipped or left out be chase they weren't in the mood. I enjoyed my experience by leaps and bonds the. Other places down the street for me. I can't wait to go back. read more

I'm once again blown away with this place. The people are amazing. I make is a point to stop in every 2 weeks. They've become like family. In the picture for this salon are some of a lady whom claims they have messed her nails up. I noticed that she did not post an actual review. It is obvious that the damage was done after she left the salon. I bring family and friends here often. That will not change. Best salon I've EVER been to. read more

I finally found my nail salon. Inside it was both relaxing and elegant with refreshments offered for free. My manicurist, Victoria, was great and friendly. She did my pedi wonderfully and so far the nail polish has help up after a week of boots and running. I will definitely go back again to get my nails done. read more

We have used welcome nails since it opened. Both my daughters and I are regulars at the salon. The shop is very clean and the staff is awesome. I'm a teacher so they paint flowers on my nails for the kindergarteners.we will continue using this business, and highly recommend them. read more

I have definitely found my go-to nail place in Harker Heights. I tried a previous nail place here and the work was way overpriced for the quality. I needed a great gel mani that would last me more than 3 days so based on the reviews, I gave this place a try. First impression when I walked in was that it was pretty spacey and not crowded like other places I've been so far in TX. I made an appointment but I showed up about 20 mins early and they took me immediately. As for the actual paint job, it's probably the best I've ever had. The polish lasted me about two weeks looking just as fresh as the day I walked out. The pricing is average and adequately priced considering the great job. They offer you a complimentary beverage right on the spot as soon as you sit down (they've got a completely stocked wine bar). I felt comfortable and they took their time with me. read more

Very, very, very nice people! This was my first time here and I went with my mom and sister and we were treated very well. The complementary wine is a plus but I would go back regardless! I have found my new regular place and I only went here because the yelp reviews were really good. The prices are normal if not cheaper. Kuku, Sunny, Winson....whatever his name is...is the rudest nail tech. Let him serve you a beverage but DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOUR NAILS. His aggressive behavior is overwhelming and uncalled for. I use to appreciate going to the salon until I let him do my nails and the entire time he was filing my skin and yelling at his workers. When I came back to show him the nails had lifted, he went off on me. Had he took the time to take care of me the first time, I would have not had to go back or write this terrible review. He begs everyone to rate him on Yelp. Do yourself a favor and get better customer service elsewhere. This place is a joke. read more

I am reviewing again and dropping to 3 stars from 4. The people are extremely friendly. They are very personal, the owner even went to the store and bought a special bottle of wine and flowers for a repeat customer who was coming in for her birthday. But the past two times my pedi has been interrupted by them shuffling around from client to client trying to get everyone seen and not have the new walk in's be waiting too long. Very nice place, very good price, very nice people but I am looking for somewhere else so I am not interrupted in my one time of relaxation I get, not even once a month. read more

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!! So me and Joe go to get a pedicure... we sit and wait in the comfy chairs for about 15 min getting a massage... then another girl comes in sits in the 3rd chair... they start to do my hubbys feet... then they put the water on for me and start on mine... no... wait... she gets up.... then NEVER COMES BACK!!!! So I'm sitting there waiting.... and waiting... and waiting.... meanwhile they are working out the other girls pedi who came in 10 min after we were already waiting for 15 min... my hubbys feet almost done... and I'm still WAITING!!! Feet soaked in luke warm water for so long they are all wrinkled So she comes back after 30 minutes and I'm like no I don't want and pedicure anymore!!! R u kidding me? Girl bye!! read more

Have been in Harker Heigts for a couple of months and had given up hope on finding a nail salon that I would like. Saw the positive reviews on yelp and decided to check this place out with my mom. Holy cow, amazing! The stuff was the most friendly stuff I think I have ever experienced. Constantly offering beverages, asking if we were comfortable and just overall super nice. They even offer free wine, soda and water to customers, we don't drink wine but I thought that was a great extra treat for those who enjoy it. My two-year-old son was with me, and they were all so loving and nice to him. Mom also got her brows done, and they look great!Prices were very affordable for the quality. I was really happy with this salon! I got a gel manicure and the lady did a very thorough job. The gel isn't clumpy at all. When I walked in I was greeted and she started on my nails right away. They offered me beer/wine and I chose moscato...it was yummy! I will definitely return. read more

Unfortunately, I can't rate with zero stars. DON'T EVEN TAKE A CHANCE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THE REST, JUST WALK AWAY NOW. YOU'LL THANK ME LATER! Okay, here's the deal if you must know. I took my daughter to get a mani/pedi at around 6:30 pm. They are open until 8. We chose this place because they would have time to do our nails before they closed and Yelp gave them 4 stars (come on Yelpers). There were 2 gentlemen working, one was free to start helping us and the other was with a customer at the nail desk. They set us up in the pedicure chairs and they started on my toes first. The man doing my pedicure was very gentle and nice and did a so so job, but I liked him. My daughter went to the nail station with the other man when he was finally free. She was very clear and said she wanted a full set of solar nails in a pink color that she picked out. The man talked to her about taking off the nails she had on and replacing them with a full set. He was trying to get her to keep her nails on because he said that taking them off was a lot of work. She wanted a new set of nails, which is what a lot of people ask for when they go to the nail shop. She said that she would like a full set and that paying the price for a full set wasn't a problem. He got mad, grabbed her hand and started clipping her nails aggressively. It was so uncalled for and so unprofessional. We got up mid manicure and left because we couldn't stay and let him continue to treat her like that. We paid of course, but I can't imagine ever treating a paying customer with a simple request that way. I am so upset and don't give out very many bad reviews but I need to make sure that this is shared. read more

I'm new to the area and occasionally treat myself to a mani - pedi. I thought I did my research on the best place to go for that through the reviews on Yelp. This place seemed to have a lot of positive reviews, so that's where I went. It's a real treat for me to get a full set quality mani-pedi, but I was disappointed with the white tips that were glued on too quickly. Most the tips were too small and left the edges of my real nails hanging out, along with the many bubbles, pieces of hair, bumps, and a couple of spots of old nail polish that wasn't completely removed. It's only been a day, and three of my nails look like they need to be re-filled by the cuticle. The massage I received was great, and everything looked very clean. Other places I've been put on a base, cut away for the tip, then brush on the white tip, paint & cure. Look it up on Youtube! If you're looking for quality and detail in your manicure, don't come here! read more

The salon is clean, welcoming, and I've always been happy with the service. During this visit, since Andy and Taylor weren't available, I was assigned to Kuku. Unfortunately, my experience with him was very different. From the beginning of the appointment, he was extremely rough and aggressive while working on my nails, which made the service uncomfortable. When I politely asked if he could fix one of my nails because it wasn't the shape I wanted, he did make the correction, but afterward he became even more aggressive with my nails and his attitude felt passive-aggressive for the rest of the appointment. I wasn't argumentative or disrespectful--I simply made a reasonable request to have one nail corrected. While I appreciate that he fixed it, I don't think a customer should feel uncomfortable for asking for an adjustment. This experience won't stop me from coming back because I've had many positive visits here, and I still highly recommend the salon overall. However, I do think Kuku could improve his customer service and be gentler when working on clients' nails. A professional attitude and careful service make a big difference in the overall experience.

The flowers I requested were not done, and the dots for the ladybug design appeared were applied with an INK PEN (office stationary) dipped in polish. On top of that, the workstation was extremely dirty and did not appear sanitary. For $140, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, cleanliness, and quality. This experience was very disappointing.

@Brittney L. You are a liar. You and the lady you were with were all smiles and happy when you left today. You both commented that you had never had arm and hand massages once nails had been applied. I was there before you came in and there when you returned looking like a beat down animal. It was the man you returned with that complained not you. Please be honest, he was upset that you spent money to have your nails done. The owner did NOT rip off your nails. They were clipped then soaked in acetone. You asked for a refund so he took his product back. It's only fair. If it were me I would have charged you both for my time. Everything is on video, lawyers and the police have been contacted. Shame on you for taking bad about this shop and those that work there. read more

I take my girlfriend here to get her nails done. They are always offering complementary beverages and are constantly cleaning between customers. They are very customer friendly and someone even had a birthday and they played a birthday song just for that customer. They recognize return customers even if it's only our second time here. Just left there and have absolutely no complaints. I'm not high maintenance - I just wanted a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and there was just one other person there. They were very friendly and ready to help. A man, assuming the owner, brought me a full can of soda after he offered a variety of drinks, and I sat down right away for my Deluxe Pedicure. No problem there! I'm not picky as long as you paint my nails and don't make me bleed. The eyebrow wax was quick, almost painless, and they look fine. Thanks!! read more

I have wanted a new set of nails for weeks, but my favorite salon is not near my workplace and I don't have time to visit them on a Saturday. I decided to try Welcome Nails because of the great reviews I saw here and the convenient location. I am so happy with the great job they did on my nails! Now, I will be able to get fills done on my lunch hour! The staff is friendly and helpful and they didn't force conversation. I will definitely be a regular client at this great spot! Why did it take me so long to find this salon? I walked in yesterday to a full salon but I was greeted by the owner right away. I went in for a pedicure and new set of solar nails. The salon seemed spotless! The owner was constantly cleaning in between customers and checking to see if anyone needed anything to drink -- complimentary beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks! My pedicure was awesome and my new set turned out perfect! You get what you pay for and nothing less!! I'll definitely be going back!! read more

I absolutely love this place!! I've been going here for the past couple months, and I have never been disappointed with my nails. I enjoy getting "over the top" designs and Holly has always gone above and beyond for me. She takes her time, but I don't mind since I always get perfect designs! The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. The building is a bit dated, but I personally enjoy the little hole-in-the-wall vibes. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting beautiful nails. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for the past 3 years and it's always an A+ experience. They are always so helpful and very conscious of your time. They offer you free drinks, very clean (change out the pedi liners, disinfect the seat you are sitting in, etc), they are awesome at making any free repairs even after you leave. On top of all of that they do a great job and are reasonably priced! Stop by and give them a try :) good customer service is priceless!! read more

This place is amazing! If I could give them more stars, I would. This was my first time going here and I will definitely be back. Cucu did my nails and he was so kind. I went in to get a fill on acrylic nails that I had gotten done at another location and Cucu completely revamped them and made them look 10 times better. At the end, there was an arm/hand massage which I've never had done at any other location and it was great I definitely recommend coming here!! read more

I love this place!!!!!! I have been in love with Welcome Nails & Spa ever since the death of my son. One of the nail techs didn't know that my son had passed away but out of no where he designed angel wings on my nails. The workers are very cheerful and heartwarming. They really care for all clients. They value your opinions and want your visit to be really relaxing. I'd had two poor experiences getting my nails done so I'm always hesitant to try new places because I hate being disappointed. It took me over two and a half hours to get thru at a competitor in the area. I arrived and immediately got seated. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The pricing was good plus got a discount for being a new customer, they offer you drinks from wine,coke to water. Plus no wait. The guy I had also did a hand/arm massage. This was the first time having one. ..ever..lol and I've been having my nails done since i was a younger ever 3wks.they were super nice and conversed with me, not like some shops where they talk more with each other. I am so glad I found this place! My mom and I went for mani/pedis and we were treated like royalty! We came in without an appointment and were helped immediately. The facility was beautiful and very clean. Our nails turned out beautifully and the staff made sure we were happy with the results before we left. I absolutely love this place every time I come into this place it's so relaxing and everyone is friendly. They are quick to assist anyone who comes in the door. I won't go anyplace else they offer complementary drinks to guests and make sure the place is always neat. If you're not satisfied with the work done they are quick to fix it no questions asked. Great place and very friendly people! They offer snacks and complimentary wine, beer and other beverages. This is the only nail salon I will go to for any services. The salon is always very clean and their services are perfectly priced! If there is ever anything you're not satisfied with (drink, nail color, temperature) they are more than willing to fix it for you. I guarantee you will leave the salon feeling relaxed! read more

Just had my manicure done here and I have to say, I am in LOVE with my nails! From the moment I walked in, the staff was super welcoming and friendly, and the vibe was great. I love love love this salon! I moved to the area 2 years ago and being a military family we always start over. I searched on yelp at that time and found this little place. This place is great. They really have taken care of me, every time I've come. They are very friendly, and will work with you to make sure you are satisfied. I recently had a gel manicure and the next day came back for a pedicure. I noticed one nail's paint looked a little weird and they fixed it happily. I've PCSed all over the U.S. and this place doesn't disappoint! Free water, wine, beer. And refills! read more

Best nail salon in the area! After moving to the Killeen/Harker Heights area last year, I was looking for a good salon with decent prices. After a couple bad experiences at other salons, Welcome Nails & Spa has exceeded my expectations. I've been coming here for months & am never disappointed with my gel manicures. Andy was the one who did my pedicure, very nice and offered me a drink right when I came in. This is where I will be getting nails and toes done from now on. He did such a great job painting and massaging my feet. I'm nine months pregnant and this was so relaxing and much needed!
