Dumpling

I really hesitated eating here at King buffet. The business only uses styrofoam plates and plastic forks and plastic spoons. I was very pleased with the authenticity of the food. It was amazing and authentic. I forgot to take pictures but I did take a picture of their homemade dumplings. They were the bomb. I don't Normally eat sushi but the sushi they had on the buffet, one of the rolls was deep fat fried and they were amazing. Reasonably priced

There are a few vegetarian options.

Pro: very clean, nicely decorated. Con: the food is average and kind of greasy. We came at 8pm on a Thursday night, but several of the foods had been on the steam table way too long, Low or out of several others. Just don't get your hopes up. Like hundreds of other Chinese buffets... nothing special, and heavy in your digestion later. I always think, "maybe this one will be different." Nope.

Not to bad for a buffet. Good selection. Most food was pretty Yummy. Over All extremely pleased. AT $7.50 you can't beat a better lunch.

For an affordable Chinese dinner, this is good! It was easy to get to from our motel and the variety was great!

This restaurant has been in Grand Island a long time. I moved back here almost two years ago and…read morefinally realized I needed to try this place out. My only other experience with Mongolian grill have been chain restaurants such as HuHot and Genghis Grill. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly/professional. There's a good selection of meat/seafood, vegetables, and tofu to build your bowl with. Then there's the signature Mongolian sauce along with ginger, sesame oil, lemon juice and so forth to season the bowl before handing off to be placed on the grill. The cooks take their time and I've never seen them cook more than two bowls at a time unlike the chain restaurants. The meal comes off the grill steaming hot and delicious. I've really enjoyed eating here.

The buffet had a nice selection of fresh veggies, meats, and noodles and a few options for sizes. We never saw the prices for the various sizes, but we went ahead and got the large bowl. After adding our desired sauces, two people were walking around the round grill, cooking our food and moving it around the grill. They had some kind of soup, maybe sweet and sour, which I didn't care for. You could also get white rice out of an electric rice maker, if you wanted it. The food was cooked appropriately, it was flavorful, the workers were all nice, everything looked clean and replenished regularly. If you wanted a sweet treat, besides a fortune cookie, they had a couple of little cake choices, Jello, mandarin oranges, and watermelon slices.

Attached to the Holiday Inn, this is not your typical hotel restaurant. Upon entering, the place…read morehas a very modern vibe with its open ceiling warehouse setup. It was a large space, and despite its positive first impression, we were a little concerned because there were no customers. Perhaps 5:30 on a weekday was too early for the area. It was obvious our server was new because she wasn't too sure about the menu, but she got the answers we needed. The "special" lasagna my wife ordered ended up being unavailable, so she went with the regular lasagna. The presentation and taste of our pasta entrees was very good. I went with the regular-size beef stroganoff instead of the large portion and glad I did because the sauce was heavy and contained a lot of beef. We also ordered their special bread (assorted 4-count) and it came out soft and warm with a delicious spread on the side. I'd definitely recommend checking out Joy's Table if in the area. By the way, two more tables came in by the time we left. I guess it's a late dinner crowd.

Salad was good, again thinking the salad would be a bit bigger. Asparagus was good too. Service was very good, and it has a nice atmosphere.
