I like them, they are fast & efficient, gives you a quote over the phone, and they know what they are doing. They will give you the best rate for any service you need, usually like 50% off. My coworker recommended me to this place because her husband has been a customer since he got his first car like 13 years ago or so. I went here to get my brakes changed and rotor, it was fast dropped it off before work and picked it up at lunch break. Only catch: It's CASH only. They don't have an ATM so bring cash (i'm guessing that's why it's cheap and the best rate) i would definitely come back. read more

DO NOT go here. I've taken my car here early September (BMW X5). Maybe they're good with other cars but I am not confident they know BMWs. Sadly I was referred this place by a friend of a friend. First he said he fixed the crank seal so I went to pick up my car. A week later the noise I had was back. So I take it back and he was really nice about it and said he will take a look and didnt charge me extra to fix whatever the issue is - valve cover. I didnt have my car for 2 weeks. He said the part is not avail. I finally got to get my car today it is 10-19 and drove off. It smelled funny. A burning smell. So I called and asked him if its ok. He said its normal because its a new part. I went on and went to work and by the time I to work my engine was fuming in heavy smoke and oil was leaking. See photos. I had to go to work so I just left my car in the lot. By the time I came back out the car did not start. I had to call a tow truck and the mechanic said I can bring it by and he 100% knows how to fix it. So I was like ok lets try this one last time. While waiting for the mechanic, my coworkers found me in the lot and just looked around the engine for me. Note: they are NOT mechanics but noticed the plastic covers were all cracked and loosely dangling. I had a bad feeling and decided it was best I dont take my car back there. I had called the mechanic back and told him about all the loose plastic parts and cracked covers dangling. He said it was already like that. Whether he did it or not, I would think a good mechanic would note this and ask if I want to replace it. Weary, I just told him I will take my car elsewhere. I started with one problem with noise and now 1.5 months later my car is fuming and oil is leaking with broken dangling plastic pieces and cover under the hood. Really wanted to like this place with all the nice reviews and price was reasonable. He is a really nice guy and I really hate writing a bad review. read more

I've known Linh and most of his mechanics now for at least 15 years. Most of my family which is about 20-25+ uncles, aunts, cousins, etc all take their cars to King. Linh (owner) is extremely honest, fair, and prompt about his repairs. Our family has been doing business with him now for 25+ years. I've referred friends to King and ALL have left completely satisfied and also in amazement of how cheap King is compared to places like Goodyear and other franchise type shops. I consider myself very particular of how and what is done to my car. I do outside sales for a living so a reliable car is very important to me. Linh's maintenance recommendations have never left me on the side of the road. He's been spot on about things that I should do to keep my car reliable and repair costs down when things go bad. Such great guys! The guy knows my financial situation, so he does what he can to help with the cost. They are pretty knowledgeable, and offer quick service. If you need a tow, call them first, and they get one of their connections to do it for cheap. So far, they've helped me w/ just about everything... tires, smog check, air conditioner, oil changes, and many others. Linh is definitely my new car guy!! i'm so happy my friend recommended i get an estimate from him before getting my brakes and transmission oil changed. I used to frequent a shop in CM because a family friend said they specialized in Japanese cars and were honest people, but they quoted me 2x the price get my front pads changed!! i only wish i found out about this place sooner! it was refreshing that when asked if i needed my oil changed, linh gave me an honest answer and said i could wait it out vs other mechanics i've met who would stereotype and take advantage of the fact that they think i know zilch about cars. he took the time to look all the parts over and gave me a summary of everything that needed to be fixed including what the total would be, i was also in and out within an hour! pro-tip: cash only!! don't forget to stop by the atm before coming! :) read more

My family has been coming here for the past 20+ years. I have never once been cheated or unsatisfied with their work. They charge extremely fair prices, I have yet to have been overcharged here. They provide quick service and are extremely helpful and kind. I've been looking at all this good reviews so I decided to give this place a try.. I my own opinion I woudint come back here.. I came here for a oil pressure switch change. The fixed it but that same day I got the engine light on so I decided to go to another mechanic to see why was the engine light on.. he told me they put the oil pressure sensor wrong or is the incorrect one. So I came back to this place one day & the guy here was too busy so wait a week & on a early Monday morning I come in again & I was the first one here. I thought that this was only gonna take a couple of hours... so the guy here ordered the part again & told me that this is gonna take about an hour.. so I go across the street for some breakfast then I come back an hour later.. & he says they send me the wrong part so now I have to wait another hour or so.. Duuuuuuuuuuke! This place is awesome and Duke is the man. They are super efficient and get work done fast and at super reasonable prices. I'm a dealer all the way in south OC and all my cars go to Duke. Unlike other mechanics he does the work on time and understands that time is money. He charges a fair wholesale rate and doesn't cry about the condition of the car. He just gets the work done and gets it back to our customers in a timely fashion. One of the better mechanics I've even been to. This guy is honest and I've never felt that I was being overcharged or paying for something that I didn't need. I usually give him a call, roll up, and get my car fixed-there is usually no wait for me because I'm special. I've never seen any negligence on his part so I've always been fairly satisfied with his work. Had my car in there for a tire rotation. The mechanic there told me the stud was stripped when he pulled it out. Skeptical as I am I wanted to know which stud it was before the lugs got thrown back for reference. Sure enough the lug wasn't threading properly, and needed to be replaced. My wheels hadn't been taken off since the new tires were mounted so it was clear to me that it'd been forced in at that time. Took my truck here a week ago when my water pump went out on me. Don't know the guy that helped me out but I will guess he was the owner. He was very easy and friendly. Gave me a price to fix the repair with parts. The price was good so I left my truck to get repaired. The next day he called to notified me of the repairs being completely done. I was unable to answer his call and he did not leave a voice mail but I did recognize the number. When I got there to pick up my truck I went inside to pay, the price he quoted me was the final price I paid. His price did not changed at all. I will definitely take my truck again for any future repairs, since he is an honest person and he gave me the best price around town. read more
