What disappointed me most was that I originally thought I would be able to keep my old tire and take it home, because I believed I could patch it myself and keep it as a spare. In the end, that was not how it worked. Their used tire replacement process meant they kept my original tire and gave me another used tire in exchange. So it did not really feel like I was simply buying a used tire for $60. It felt more like I was trading in my old tire, which did not even have a hole that obvious to me, and still paying $60 on top of that. The service was done quickly, but the overall experience left me feeling less satisfied than before. BIGGEST RIPOFF !!! If you care about your vehicle do not come to Mr. D's. auto repair. Theyre a complete rip off and fraudulent service. He charged me $1250 to replace the fuel pump. The problem was not fixed I took it back and he charged me an extra $100 because he (Michael) said he forgot to program it. Wait... why do i have to pay extra for something that should have been part of the repair (common sense). The problem was still not fixed. I took it to another mechanic and they said that the fuel pump was never changed. I'm now in the process of Suing this incompetent repair shop. You know what this place is? It's a trip back in time to a land where you could trust your auto mechanic to always be honest with you and to look out for your best interests. Beware of this place!!! Mr.D seems like a nice old man looking after you and with that he plays the part. Took my 1999 C230 Mercedes to see how much a Mass Air Flow Senor will be to replaced. He have a an estimate of $319 for the part and $35.00 labor. I told him I would think about it. Bought the sensor on Amazon for $125 and will have another mechanic install it for $50.00. My Girlfriends family has been going to Mr D's for 20-30 years. Forget the dealer, if Mr D can do the work, have it done there. Honest, Reliable, been in the community for decades. Whether your a Car guy or completely clueless, Mr D will treat you right. Does work for Westminster and Santa Ana localgovernments so you know he and his crew are good. I had a hard time believing that was the issue. My truck left worse than when I came in. I came into Anthony's shop and he helped me get everything dialed into spec. Car drives brand new again. The negative reviews about alignment seems to me are more of people who generally don't know much about vehicles and claim things are a scam when they need "new parts" I also feel they don't know how to properly explain what is going on with the car. I came in, Anthony got everything to spec. My steering wheel was a tad off, he fixed it on the spot. Everything is extremely straight now, we both took the time to see where the issue may lie and resolved it. Will come back again. Take it from me, a person who works on their car 99% of the time, this shop is legit. Just know what is wrong with your vehicle, and listen to what they tell you. It's a recommendation they're giving you if they say something is bad. You can always say no but if the part is bad, your alignment will be thrown off in no time. Will be back again.

Aside from doing good work, I feel like being personable and having great customer service skills, regardless of what industry you're in, goes a long way with finding repeat customers and Van passed with flying colors. I happened to stumble upon his shop on yelp while looking for different options to fix my car and he gave me the most affordable quote and he was very thorough in explaining what were the potential issues with my car and how it would need to be fixed. I've went to many different mechanics over the course of my life and I've never felt compelled to write a review for them but I feel like Van deserves to be recognized and I wish nothing but success for his business.
