Definitely worth every penny considering they gave me a reason to walk away from what would've been a financial nightmare! I had a PPI service done on a Carmax car. The AutoMedic was able to find hidden oil and coolant leaks, as well as identify panels that were re-painted (because of a collision) Over 300 photos, a handful of videos, lots of good information that justified the price of the PPI service. Had these guys fix our alternator when our minivan broke down close to Anaheim during a road trip. Nice guy, however our alternator broke down again 15 months later. When the new mechanic looked at the alternator, he told us it was not the name-brand 'new part' as we had been told and charged for. It was a no-name rebuilt alternator. Super glad I learned about AutoMedic, interestingly by recommendation from another provider when they couldn't service me sooner. My car wouldn't start and I didn't feel like getting it towed. They were really patient over the phone and walked me through pros and cons re: buying a battery before hand or until they could diagnose it. Glad I listened, ended up the MAF to be actual problem. Took two technicians, but I appreciate that they showed me test results and were about 30min between each other. Got a Pre Purchase inspection done by them, customer service was great they were very friendly and sold me easily due to how well they spoke. With that being said I paid for a pre purchase inspection, yes they did cover a lot of things and was helpful however they claimed to drive the car I bought and said everything was good besides a few things. They also told me no coolant or oil leaks either. When the car came to me the vehicle got into limp mode after driving it, also has coolant and oil leaks aswell. If I knew the vehicle would be in limp mode or misfire with having coolant and oil leaks, I would not have bought the car. I want my refund. read more

I can't say enough good things about The AutoMedic. I first spoke with the owner, Ari, who was extremely helpful, responsive, and quick to make sure I was taken care of. Efren came out to inspect my vehicle and was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, honest, and incredibly thorough. I had been experiencing a strange intermittent squeaking noise, and he took the time to do a full inspection, drive around with me to try to identify the issue, and check everything carefully to make sure my car was safe to drive. We weren't able to recreate the noise at the time, but he still went above and beyond to make sure nothing was overlooked. A few days later, the squeaking happened again, so I reached back out to Ari. He immediately helped set up another appointment, and David came out to take another look. David was also kind, professional, and helpful. Once again, we couldn't replicate the noise, but he took the time to inspect the vehicle and reassure me that it was safe. What stood out most was that these guys genuinely care about their customers. They are not looking to take advantage of people or recommend unnecessary repairs. Their pricing is extremely fair, and their honesty and professionalism are hard to find. I had been going to Midas for my car needs, but moving forward, The AutoMedic will be the only place I trust with my vehicle. I do NOT recommend them. They have shady practices, especially if you're inexperienced or young-- and don't seem to know what they're doing. My college-aged son used them for a check engine light and smoke from his engine-- mind you it was not an old car, and had around 70K miles. They claimed to know what was wrong, and charged $633 to change a thermostat and a "housing unit" around the thermostat. Mind you, there was nothing wrong with the housing unit, but they convinced my inexperienced son to pay another couple of hundred more for that "just in case." Just two weeks later, the car had the EXACT SAME problem (check engine light and smoke). They came back and said oh, we know the issue now --it's the fan, and you'll need to pay another $500 for that. I let them know I have zero confidence in their expertise, that I don't find them to be trustworthy, said no thank you and got it done elsewhere for way less. I suggest you get your car to a reputable mechanic shop and skip the so-called convenience of this company. read more

Utilized them before and this time will be the last. I had suspension sounding issues and with them it was throwing darts and a dart board blindingly trying to figure out the sound and clunking. First shocks and struts $$$ and then CV axle $$$ and now control arms replaced for my car, and both side bolts were loose causing noising clunking and problems for weeks. Spent over thousandS. I finally Took it in a different garage cause I got a better quote saving hundreds or dollars in estimates and they said the installation was loose and improperly done and the other shop had retighten for free.
