After doing a lot of research, reading reviews, and deciding which dentist I would trust to finally fix my teeth problems, I found Dr. Saleh at WTCDental. I could not be happier with the work that has been done thus far! I'm writing this review on my way to the third appointment in under a months time and I'm actually excited! From the first call I received from Janette (hope I spell everyone's name correctly) I knew I had made the right choice, the vibes were great and I felt really welcome! She was able to go over a few things with me over the phone and right off the bat my nerves were calmed. The first appointment was more of a consultation- Elida took care of doing my X-rays. In the past this had been an almost pre-torture like experience for me, but not here, she had no problem walking me through the simplest things that most people would feel annoyed to do, she made it as comfortable as possible for me and even had me laughing! After the x-rays I met with Dr. Saleh (he briefly and very politely introduced himself before the x-rays) who's truly as informative and patient as the reviews say; he spent as much time as I needed to explain everything to me in depth, was very straight forward with options of care and even pricing! The next appointment Dr. Saleh filled the cavities in my front two teeth, and though I was still a little nervous going into it, that fear was shed very quickly. Janet was out sick that day so I was greeted by Nisrine who also helped Dr. Saleh during the procedure, she was just as welcoming and when I say that the vibes at this dental office are amazing, I truly mean it! Everyone makes you feel as if you're a friend rather than just a client! Half way through the procedure (which went amazingly by the way) Mogan took over for Nisrine; Mogan also did an amazing job and shared her story of how she got into the dental field with me. (They're all great people as well outside the professional vibes they all give off and I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with everyone!) I have to cut this review short since I'm on my way there now for the third but- my front teeth look AMAZING! Dr. Saleh did a perfect job and I definitely urge anyone looking for great dental care to go here! I'm looking forward to fixing the rest of my problems and if you made it through reading this, you can probably tell I'm a handful haha! I'm very appreciative of the professional level of care I received here in such a personable way!

As an individual who was petrified of Dentists, I was left with addressing issues as I got older. Dr Saleh has made going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Dentists ask you to "raise your hand if you feel pain". It's feeling that initial pain that always scared me. This Dentist makes sure you never get to that point. I've had some major procedures and not once have I felt pain or had to raise my hand. I've been with Dr Saleh for a couple of years and today it's reached the point where I'm so relaxed I could fall asleep even with the "dreaded" drill in my mouth. His work is flawless. His team also need acknowledgment as they too are amazing at making you feel at ease and comfortable. Seriously, if you have a fear of dentists please try Dr Saleh.

I only thought the dentist was for the wealthy and the popular. My life was way too hard and I was just too poor for putting money into anything other than a life and death situation.   No one in my family circle was able to explain in a lasting way the importance of dental care in terms of its nutritional benefits or its connection to body immunity and heart health. One day I walked by Smile Savers dental offices thinking about how many years it's been since I even had a teeth cleaning and decided to brave the embarrassing questions and judgemental office staff that had scared me off so many times in other dental offices before. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong about this office being like the others. The staff was professional and more importantly non-judgmental about my story. Dr Cox and her staff moved with laser-like efficiency not missing a beat in explaining what they were doing and why.(which was no small feat considering how much work they had to do in my mouth.) I should begin this review by saying that I've had extensive work done here, and unfortunately a great deal of different procedures at other dentists and periodontists in NYC and Florida. Dr. Moskowitz is a dream dentist. He's as upbeat as he can be, yet he never sugarcoats the situation. He will answer endless questions, and never seems frustrated or irritated. I don't like dentists, and I am kind of a wuss when it comes to pain, but he is unfailingly gentle, and will stop and administer more anesthetic in the middle of a procedure if the patient wants it. I cannot say enough about my experience with him, and with his assistant, who also went to dental school, Dora. They are an amazing team, and I trust them completely. Why? I read some previous reviews about unnecessary work ordered, but I had all different options and price points discussed with me, and wasn't pushed toward the most expensive option. My father made the same decision to have a permanent bridge put in, and his dentist (in Florida) was not as good as Advanced Dental Care - he gets food caught under it and it irritates his gums. My bridge fits so well that I feel like it's nearly my natural teeth. They didn't rush to cement it in, but used temporary paste, until I was sure that the fit was absolutely correct. So why not 5 stars? They are EXPENSIVE. I have dental insurance, and with the insurance that they take, I'm still paying tens of thousands of dollars out of my own pocket. I know that there are less expensive dentists out there, but I've decided that the thoroughness and expertise that I have experienced here are worth the money. After all, it is your mouth, and I don't know about you, but I like eating. They make sure that they accommodate my schedule, and after hearing my dad complain about the dental work that he had done, I think it is ABSOLUTELY worth the cost.

Extremely long wait after appointment time to be seen, and the administration is horribly managed. This place is terrible. I went to get my wisdom teeth removed. The consultation was standard and everything went fine. They verified that I was qualified for a loan and repayment plan but then I received a letter in the mail after my surgery saying that I did not qualify for the extended repayment plan despite being assured before my surgery that I was. They had me sign up for a plan that caused me financial stress under false pretenses. They called to reschedule my surgery twice which caused confusion with my job because I had to request time off for the surgery and then change it, twice. When I arrived for my surgery, I had to wait an hour and half to be seen by the surgeon whose assistant did not follow her instructions to x ray me while I waited, causing more of a delay. The guy before me had been waiting for two hours. The surgery itself went fine. They have very capable doctors. But so do A LOT of other dental offices. I received IV sedation and it was very fast. The big issue with this place is the management and administration. It is VERY poorly managed. They sent my scripts to the wrong pharmacy (TWICE!) and it took a few hours after my surgery to get them. Also, I requested an itemized receipt for my surgery both before and after my procedure. Was initially told hey can't give that to me until after the procedure. Then on 10/12 when I followed up I was told it would take a day to get to me. It's 10/17 and I still don't have my itemized receipt and they have not called me back. This is what I wonder: 1. I asked for an itemized receipt before my surgery and they said that they could not provide this until after the surgery because that's when they would be able to calculate the totals. 2. If that's the case why did they give me a solid price (the wording was, verbatim "the surgery will cost $2400". It was a definitive statement and not a quote) and have me sign up for a loan and repayment plan based on this amount if they can't actually calculate the totals until after the procedure? 3. Why are they unable to supply an itemized receipt when requested? Why don't they already have this information calculated and on file? Why won't they return my calls about this? Why are they being so shady about this? I am concerned that this place takes advantage of those who need dental work and who may be economically vulnerable, in a lot of pain, and who may be desperate to get this work done. I sincerely regret using Brooklyn Dental and besides my follow up, will never see them again.

Even though I said there was pain, a bad odor coming from the tooth and it hurt significantly when I flossed. I am now going to a more competent dentist.

I just had the first half of a root canal performed today (it's going to happen in 2 visits). I've…read moreonly had Dr. Izabella Belenkiy, but her caring demeanor is what makes me keep coming back here, even though I hate dentists. My mouth is SUPER-SENSITIVE, and I had some pretty deep cavities. but whenever you tell her to stop, she will. One of my cavities was so deep that the first time I went in, they couldn't do the procedure because I wouldn't allow her to get into the tooth there was so much sensitivity. She aborted that procedure (left me with a temporary filling), and the next time, she said "OK, we're going to try this differently this time since you're so sensitive" and the procedure was completed without pain of any kind during or after. Today, she started a root canal, which will be completed next time. Again, there was some extreme sensitivity, but this time she was like "I'm going to give you a few minutes, that's the only way we're going to get this done". Whatever she did before stepping out of the room for about 10 minutes helped immensely! Afterwards, she asked if there was any pain while she tried some things, when I said no, she got right to work. Again, aside from the initial thinking she was trying to kill me, no pain during or after. :) What got me started on this whole course of treatment was a dental emergency - I had SEVERE pain in a tooth (turned out that a wisdom tooth needed to be extracted, and she needed to send me elsewhere to have that done). She saw me, a patient that she had never seen before, on an hour's notice and referred me to an oral surgeon based on the X-rays that she took. Great customer service! I've been going back every week or two since for various procedures.
