I went on a Friday around 5 pm for a kids birthday party and to my Amazement it wasn't crowded. The kids enjoyed themselves immensely. Had a pre-wedding party for 80 people at Kings on Clybourn and it couldn't have been better. The food is universally outstanding, the staff were fabulous and the facilities were really fun. I love Kings it's so fun and there's something for everyone, they have an arcade, pool and of course bowling but it's nice that you can dine while you wait on your lane or hang out at the bar, they don't rush you. You can take your food with you and the lanes have a server. read more

Same day reserved an early bowling lane (5:15pm) on a Friday night for two. Great date night spot! Parked in the attached parking garbage. Check-in was smooth and, to my pleasant surprise, we were led to the practive room lanes in the back. We had a sweet server who brought over water with paper straws (hot take, I'm a fan of no straw & paper straws) and returned shortly to take our food orders. We shared a "The Strike" which is essentially waffle fries loaded with pulled pork, cheese, and jalapenos. Hearty and delish. We ordered nachos and they were pretty standard - in hindsight, it's a little hard to eat with clean hands when you're bowling. We had a 6:45 reservation and didn't get on a lane until 9pm! For over two hours, we were told 18 minutes then 14 minutes then three minutes until our lanes were ready. In all actuality, it was two hours and 15 minutes! The front desk staff was not truthful until after a two hour wait they finally told us that it was their fault and they double booked for the entire evening. They did take half off my price, but it was still unacceptable as I had 16 people there for a birthday party. Making us wait over two hours was unacceptable and we should've left. They validated my parking except since I had an over two hour wait I was 10 minutes past the five hour mark so the validation didn't even work and I had to pay the full $20 to park. We will not be back and it's a shame because it's a nice bowling alley but customer service is everything in my opinion. read more

I was totally off-guard to see Kings Dining / Entertainment in this area and glad to stop in when invited to meet some friends. The bowling lanes are modern and easy to just add your name in the computer and no need to use math to calculate. The bar behind the lanes makes it very convent to order the drinks and never have to look to see if it is your turn to bowl. I had a great time here bowling and eating food, the service is great too. I would highly recommend and the cost is around $50 per lane and it is timed. The only negative is you get 60 minutes to bowl and there is no grace period after 61 minutes. read more

I had never been to a Kings Dining & Entertainment, and I can honestly say I cannot wait to go back! A friend of mine wanted to go bowling for her birthday, and I originally chose Kings Dining & Entertainment because it was equidistant between all the guests who would be in attendance. But if anyone ever wants to go bowling again, I'm taking everyone to Kings. I do not know why I offered to plan my friend's birthday. I was traveling so much for work, I was barely home long enough to pack, let alone plan an entire party. So I cannot sing Mari Scott's praises enough for putting together a food & beverage package for me, and reserving our bowling lane. I felt so worried about not being able to secure a lane on a busy Saturday, but Mari took care of everything. Reception greeted us warmly and escorted us to our reserved lane when we arrived; we were greeted by the manager who made us feel so warm and welcome; and our server was incredibly attentive and so considerate. We ended up staying for a few hours after our lane time to play some air hockey and other arcade games. Fun and welcoming atmosphere at Kings Dining and Entertainment in Chicago. Came for a private birthday party event. We were in a side room area with four bowling lanes. A pretty light crowd in the main area for a Saturday night. The event had pizza, teriyaki chicken, and a few other small appetizers. I thought they were done well Knocking a star off because two of our four bowling lines were out of commission for 30-40 minutes, as the machine dispensing the balls broke. The party event was supposed to be for two hours of bowling and we lost some of that. I was surprised they did not offer extra time to the party to make up for it. We went bowling and our lane had to be manually reset before starting, then the ball got stuck three separate times so they had to come repair. We decided to leave after 15 minutes. Invited here for a night of bowling, appetizers, and cocktails! Pleasantly surprised by our food and experience. Didn't have high expectations for your typical "bar food" that one would expect at a bowling alley, but this place was something different. This was my first time trying this place and I was surprised to see things beyond your typical: nachos, wings, and burgers. We dined on the philly tuna bites, tomato soup fondue tray, and the cookie dough fondue (a must for my dessert lovers out there). Loved all three of these apps! They offer great food and promotions during the week days (& for students) which is a huge plus to me and a fun and cheap way to get out of the house for a date night or after work get together. It's okay, I been to the Rosemont location and can honestly say the food tasted better .We had ordered nachos with pork and the pork was so dry and tasteless and not how I remember it . We took the nachos back to replaced it with wings, and also ordered a burger that was on special . The burger called Boursin Burger that has bacon cheese caramelized onion was pretty decent. Note: This review pertains to the establishment itself, nothing towards the staff. We had a large group which they accommodated well. The staff were amazing! Felt bad due to COVID, I know things weren't what they always were so our group understood the service that took a little a while and that eventually started checking in on us time to time. Food was alright, got a crispy chicken sandwich, which had really good waffle fries (deserves its own star). I also got wings, and a couple drinks that weren't luckily watered down. We were upset when it was time to leave because the server was down so we weren't able to pay with credit/debit cards. We understand that it wasn't in their control, but we had another reservation to get to and our only option was to pull cash out of the atm- which each person had to pay the transaction fee to pay for their tab. I found that to be upsetting, because it took way longer to get out of there and we did wait for the system to be rebooted and ended up giving in to getting cash. Overall, a fun spot for bowling. I participate in a few bowling leagues at King's and always enjoy my time there. The prices are slightly lower than you'd expect for an upscale bowling alley (i.e., there isn't a premium charged, when compared to a similar-quality restaurant) and the bowling is always fun. The music can be hit or miss, but when it hits, it's excellent. We had an older DJ one night (mid-50s guy) who was playing some of the best tracks I've ever heard. We pulled up at 7:30pm on Thursday after making a reservation on Monday. Our reservation was nowhere to be found. The manager stepped up and did the right thing, he took care of us, got us 2 lanes within 10 minutes of the reservation and checked on us multiple times throughout the night. The lanes are short (not regulation) but very fun and the food was fantastic. A+ for the recovery. Thank you for a fun night with friends. Came here on a Saturday evening. It was pretty busy, had to wait about 45 minutes to get a bowling lane. But luckily they have a bar. Dali was a great bartender and gave recommendations on what drinks to try. They are going green, so they don't offer straws unless requested...save the Earth. We had strawberry margaritas and Rosé Sangria. Both were pretty decent. Not that many lanes at this alley, but there's plenty of other things to do. They offered connect 4 and pool. Really nice and kid friendly hangout but you can tell at night it turns into more of an adult crowd. It is on the pricey side. We spent about 180 for two people (food, drinks, and bowling).
