Came here for a birthday party that had food and bowling. It was a fun time with a great space. The food was pretty decent we had shrimp cocktail, pork sliders, beef sliders, Mac and cheese and chicken nuggets. The drinks were good as well too! Lots of space for eating and bowling. The bowling lanes were fun too with couches and plenty of space for spectators to sit too.

Our team recently hosted our holiday party at Punch Bowl Social. This place is the perfect blend of a social restaurant and entertainment venue. For food we had a taco buffet with a variety of toppings including fajita vegetables, shredded beef and chopped chicken. The alcohol and non-alcohol drink options were great. We also had a variety of mini desserts to choose from. The space reserved for our party was spacious with many seating options and things to do. There were 2 karaoke rooms as well as a pool table for us to use. There were also arcade games available in the vicinity. It's definitely place I would come back to and bring friends over who want something different from a sit down dinner!

I had two work team building events here in the past few months and it is a complete blast! It's located in Fulton market which is definitely a trendy and hip part of downtown Chicago. The food is definitely not just standard bar food and it is actually very good (and I'm super picky when it comes to bar food!) I've had their burger, tater tots, pretzels, Carnitas tacos, and most recently had their chicken and waffles, which was so delicious. Love the strawberry toppings to mix it up! Once you've filled up your belly, they have tons of fun activities to do such as darts, pool, foosball, bowling, and even karaoke. I love their photo taking section where you can take fun pictures with your group and have it be in a GIF. Service is also super great for large parties and they are super patient with all of our requests! Drinks are also really good and I normally just get beer or simple item off their Happy hour menu. Definitely check this place out if you have a group of people who need to entertain or a work event. This place is super fun and it never disappoints!

This place is soooo fun!!! We reserved four lanes of bowing all to ourselves. They have bowing, arcade games, bocce, karaoke, board games, giant twister, and more! Basically, think of an adult playground where you can host parties. There's also a section where you can sit down and order food. The vibes are super fun, and decor is kinda eclectic. I didn't get a chance to snap a pic of the buffet spread, but we got the chips with guac and salsa, crispy Brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, Thai chili glaze chicken bites, and the knockoff burger sliders. The Brussels definitely stole the show, and the Thai chili glaze chicken bites were such a nice sweet and sour bite.

Amazing place for couples, groups, friends, office outings. It has all the games you can ask for. Staff is super friendly and food is high quality. Alan (our usual server) is great! Location is superb.

Came for an event - really enjoyed the food and beer/wine tokens. I liked how the food was kept warm and there was good variety. The server came around frequently and was attentive. We were limited in space a little and there was not much seating but we got to play darts and had access to a karaoke room. Would consider for my own future events!

Drink/bar review only -- The space is like a Dave & Busters. There's a bowling section, billiards, and other games. There's also an ugly Christmas sweater popup shop right now. I came on a Tuesday night for trivia night. Trivia is hosted in the bar area and there was only one bartender working. There was no waiter so all orders had to be made with the bartender. I ordered the hibiscus 66 punch which was actually pretty good. I went back to order another drink but because it was only one bartender, it took forever and I couldn't get another drink order in. I then went back 20 minutes later to close out the tab for my one drink, and that took a long time too! It just doesn't make sense why the establishment would host a trivia event every Tuesday to try to bring in more people, and there would only be one bartender working.

We popped in for happy hour last week. There was $5 margs which is a win! It was decently busy, the bar was busy, and there were lots of activities to play. The margs were good!!

So we've been to other PunchBowl locataions and noticed this one was more kid friendly. The atmosphere could've changed since we hadn't been to a PunchBowl social location in +4 years. They had lots of interactive games like large Kenya, large connect four and so much more. We didn't stay since it was packed to the max and hard to get around the bar area.

Javi Cruz was the best bartender! Had been there since 4:45pm til around 10pm and had different folks but HE was the one to remember!

Came back for their happy hour and got the try much more of the menu!! Love love love this place and appreciate the plethora of vegetarian options they have. You must get the legit nachos--truly a spin on the classic and the best nachos I've had. Their fries are a classic and you have to get those ofc. Their cauliflower wings are another item I cannot recommend enough. So so so good! This place is a must try.

Definitely a good social place for large crowds. Many vibes going around the bar and bowling alley. Good place to celebrate birthdays and anything else !

Ask the Community - Punch Bowl Social

Can 19 or 20 year olds stay after 10pm? without them drinking of course and just there for playing games. Or will they be kicked out at 10pm

Only 21+ after a certain time

How crowded does this usually get around 530 on a sat night? Are there usually long lines for activities around that time?

When we have gone this past weekend it was very crowded and long waits for activities. They seem to always have private events happening

Are all the games free or is there a charge?

Yes, they charged for most games but some small games were free. Like Jenga and something else. Not too pricey of games though!

What time is happy hour? Is it everyday?

Hi Kendra! Our happy hour runs from 3-6pm Monday - Friday!

    Is there a dress code?

No dress code. It's a very casual fun and games type of place.

Can we bring our kids ? We are visiting Chicago right now

We are all ages until 10pm, after 10pm we are 21+!

At what age can kids bowl here?

Hi R M! We are all ages and kid bowling friendly. We have ramps for little kids that aren't old enough (or strong enough) to have developed their sick bowling skills, as well as bumpers and the cutest tiniest bowling shoes for the wee ones <3

How old do you have to be?

We were there in January with our kids (ages 9 & 15) till about 10pm. At around 9:45pm someone came over and told us the kids had to be out by 10pm because it is adults only after that.

Is it crazy busy on the weekends? I would hate to plan a night there and not be able to do anything because it was too packed.

The few times i've been at night during the weekend it has been pretty packed..

How's the parking around here? Is it available through the venue or is only street parking available?

I always park on the street (free street parking all around the place) but there is a parking garage too,I'm pretty sure it's in the same building. I don't know the rates since I've never parked there.

    Is this place kid friendly?

I asked when the best time is to bring kids (cause I think my kids would love it) and they said during brunch is great for families

Can you reserve an area? Like the karaoke area for one hour in specific? Thanks

Hi Elias! Our karaoke and all activities are first come first served, and rented by the hour. If you would like to reserve an area like Karaoke in advance, you can do that by contacting our event sales team at myeventrocks@punchbowlchicago.com!

Can you tell me about parking nearby?

Hi Barbstu! We do not have a private parking lot, it is all street parking nearby!

How much do the extra activities cost, such as virtual reality, video games, or bowling?

    Bowling: $7/hr per person , $5/hr happy hour Bocce Ball/Shuffle Board/Pool: $5/hr Arcade: Varies… Read more

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.
