Our friend organized a hang for about 10 of us. They made us wait until everybody got there which was kind of annoying. Despite that, we got a size room with only four lanes. The other two lanes was a party of like 20. It was a bit crowded, but they were nice. The best thing about the food was the portion size. Actually, the waffle fries were quite good too. The bowling experience was pretty good. It felt a bit rushed, but it was my first with a timer. I'm used to it being two games worth (like a two hour max), but we got 1.5 hours and couldn't finish the second game. The music was pretty good! Lots of throwbacks, but my goodness it was loud. Ambience was kind of busy and colorful: lots of flashing lights and projector screens hanging above the lanes. Another thing I was missing was a ping pong table! I love ping pong so that was a bit disappointing. I guess I think of bowling as more of a chill environment where you can have conversations. This just felt like a bar/restaurant with bowling as the main entertainment. Overall, it was a pretty fun experience. I would recommend this to a small party of very casual players. I think it would be too busy for someone wanting to improve their game. read more

Kings Bowl AKA Kings Dining and Entertainment is a hub for activity sitting alongside Cool Springs Galleria. I have been here over the years for a variety of reasons from a holiday party to team activity to bowling and even grabbing a drink and bite during an evening at the mall. For the holiday party, they were excellent hosts. We reserved the private room, which is outfitted with a bar and stage, making announcements and white elephant gift exchange even more fun! The food was set up on time and delivered as expected, all left fat and happy! For bowling, they have several lanes that sit right in front of the bar. The lanes are good sized, feature seating and bowling balls are plentiful. The bar is full service and full-option, so I normally go for a cocktail of some sort, usually my trust gin & tonic. It is hard to mess that one up, but honestly that depends on the bartender. On the same evening, at the same bar, with different bartenders, I got two very different g&t's. Food wise is kind of what you expect at a spot like this. Slightly elevated offerings of pizza and standard bar food. Food has never been an issue, always comes out as ordered, on time, but it is fairly standard. Pricing is a bit high here compared to other spots of this nature I have visited. From the cost of the party to individual bowling, drinks and food. Overall, Kings is a good spot for a variety of activities and celebrations, whether it be a date night or a company party. read more

We were in the area with my son and his friends so we decided to swing by and let the boys play in the arcade. First the good: the service was good. The Old Fashioned the bartender made was really good. We didn't eat anything but the food looked like decent bar food. And the Ehh: the arcade is really small and very expensive. There were lots of kids there so there was a lot of waiting to play the games. The cheapest game card is $15, plus a $2 fee per card. I wanted to get 5 cards but didn't want to pay an extra $10 just for printed cards. I ended up getting a $50 card (I originally wanted them each to have a $10 card) and let the share the card. Parking is very busy on the weekend because they share with other stores at the mall. Overall, I'd go back but there are better spots in the city. read more

We had small bites and the Buffalo wontons are excellent. Yum!! The brisket sliders were worthy of a mention. I recommend both. They offered a creative "winter sips" menu. The drinks were good. Our group sampled them all. Service was fantastic for a large group. Despite having a small staff, they were friendly, efficient and everyone was welcomed and accommodated. My friends and I went bowling at Kings Dining & Entertainment on a Thursday night. We had a great time! The space is really cool. In addition to bowling they have a whole restaurant, bar, and arcade. Bowling costed us like $25ish per person which is a little pricey, but you get to play as many games as you want within the specified time frame. Since it was 3 of us we got an hour and 15 minutes. This gave us enough time for 3 games. Apparently on Thursdays they have a deal also where in addition to your time frame for games you can also get a draft beer and a burger with fries meal all for $30. A steal considering the price for just the game alone! We had a couple of technical difficulties with the computer system, but all in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back! read more

we waited about 50 minutes for our food and when we started to get our food, the first thing was just a plate of fries and nothing else. then 5 minutes later we started to get all of our food. i understand it a little since it's football season but almost an hour? even a table that ordered after us got there food first. i appreciate our server saying "i'm sorry for the wait" but again, an hour? the food was good(very expensive though), the service was good, the place was fun, very loud. read more

We had a company outing here. We've done an outing here a few times. Bowling is fun and pretty standard. System is easy to use. We had several appetizers provided. We then had small hand food for the main course. Since we were bowling, it was nice that it was setup near our lanes. The plates were small which was good because were multi-tasking. The food was good. Tasted fresh. Nice variety. We did run out of food, but that may be because of the package we bought. I didn't organize the event. The waitstaff was pretty attentive. You know when you walk in to a place and the place is almost empty. Not a good sign... Service was slow... not sure who they were waiting on. Had a few beers, and ordered the sampler appetizer. We took a chance and went in to bowl when there were no reservations available. The host found us a slot and we had 120 mins to bowl. We got some nibbles and drinks and had a great time with our daughter and grandson. He had an absolute blast (he's almost 4). The nachos were fine - classic bar food. If you come here for games & drinks it is a good experience! Just don't order any food. My pizza was delivered 15 minutes after my husbands food because they gave mine to the wrong table. Then once we got the pizza it was extremely sub par, I couldn't even eat half of it. We brought this up to the manager/owner while we were trying to pay our bill and she was super apologetic and handled our complaint well! We wouldn't have even gone to talk to her if we hadn't gotten tired of sitting around after 5 minutes of waiting for our server to come back for our card though - the service was just extremely lacking. read more

Their pricing isn't readily available for everyone to bowl. It's about $18 a person. Not unreasonable, but not cheap. Food, is fine, and it's a good experience. Bowling shoes however, you should bring your own, or wear socks They try hard, and in general, I'm sure "Pre-Rona", had their best foot forward. Go there, have some drinks, and lots of fun. Planned a birthday engagement here and I went a week early to check it out. Food - I ordered a sampler and a brisket burger. Sheesh! Food was cook very well and the sliders were surprising terrific. Bar - If the 9ft screens don't do it then Lauren's (bar tender) customer service and skills behind the bar will do it. She also made great menu recommendations. Atmosphere- well worth the drive. If you're going on a date out with a group for a good time it's worth however many miles you've got to drive to get there. Entertainment: Don't want to bowl on three lanes with big monitors and music, shoot some pool, or air hockey, or shoot some hoops. went here today with my husband as we've been numerous times in the past and both liked our food. it was sunday during a football game yet it was shockingly empty. aside from us there was only 3 people at the bar and one other couple. we ordered a pretzel as an appetizer, a pizza and a salad. we waited for 30 minutes with absolutely no update to where my husband got up and asked the manager if he could check on what was going on bc the only other table (that got there after us btw) had their food. the manager went to the back and never returned. from my seat, i could see our pretzel sitting on the counter the entire time. the manager hid in the kitchen avoiding us. our entrees came out first 40 minutes later. the salad was lackluster on a bed of wilted lettuce and the chicken was pale and unseasoned. the cheese was not added. my husbands pizza was very obviously a frozen pizza, he's a chef and could tell. again we asked about our pretzel and when it was brought out it was literally ice cold in the middle -- again giving frozen vibes. we asked a server to speak to the manager who was standing around watching tv. when he went up and asked him the manager again disappeared to the back for at least another 5 minutes while we sat there dissatisfied waiting. my husband was only finally able to speak to him when he came out from the kitchen and walked from the draft room to the bowling area, again very clearly trying to avoid us. my husband had to, for the second time, literally chase him down. when they finally spoke he informed him that we would not be eating or paying for this food and his only response was "ok." my husband told him the reason anyway, and that $17 for a frozen pizza is ridiculous, and he admitted to us it was frozen!!! disgraceful!!! i will not return to this location. we frequented it a few years ago when a pizza cost $12 and were made fresh. theyve had a terrible decline in quality and the audacity to raise prices. not shocked at all why a sports bar like this is dead on a sunday. everything is terrible. avoid. read more

After having some free time, the gf and I went here to bowl and eat. The food isn't shabby and the bowling was pay per hour so big fan. YOU MUST BOWL STRAIGHT! Do no hook with your own ball. The pins are connected by wires. It's extremely dim. The arrows and circles are not visible on the lanes. There was ZERO oil on the lanes.. I checked with my fingers. They had a huuge projector screen on with advertisement commercials blocking the view of the lane. The seating is super clausterphobic. The food was average and the drinks overpriced. Great for a date night idea but do NOT come if you are an experienced bowler. Since the lanes are bone dry you have to use a light house ball (the finger holes are huuge) and bowl straight like an arrow. Only way to get good points. Edit: Since I was contacted, and appreciate that, I will say the sweet potato fries were amazing and the burger was pretty big and good, just nothing crazy. They do have $14 32oz beer mugs which was nice. I do know the hand shuffleboard table is awesome. And the staff was very gracious to turn off the projector so, I will add a star ;) read more

Wanted to leave 3.5. Long waits on a Saturday night even though seating is quick. Seemed like there were miscommunications on whose table we were at. Lack of follow up from staff for a table of 2 vs the larger parties. Food was really good. We had a burger and fries plus wings. Big selection of beers. Cool environment. Just slow. I had a great experience. Food was a 10/10 as was service. My bartender Ann Grace was super attentive and was a great conversationalist. All the staff were just as awesome. Don't do it. Horrible venue, with even worse service! Bought tickets to see rubiksgroove with our friends, won't be coming here again. Firstly parking is non existent on the weekend. Once we finally made it in-service was awful! not enough bartenders or waiters. we waited almost 30 minutes to have our orders taken! By the time our food came out, the show was halfway done, not to mention all our orders came out wrong. Drinks took forever too and staff was unapologetic! We came here a couple times for shows over spring and summer and service was wonderful and the staff and managers went out of their way to make us older attendees feel welcome and comfortable!
