We were here late on a Saturday night and happy to get a table to hold our large group. We had to split up and send the kids to a different table but that was fine with us. All our food was good with generous portions. The Pretzel and the Fish Tacos were the definite favorites. Our service was fine but really slow. My husband had to send his meal back because they messed it up and it took a long time to flag someone down. Once they came they addressed it right away. I have written a lot of reviews so it pains me when I want to like a place and it simply isn't possible. We came here for a birthday party while visiting Nashville and our friends hosted a bowling time next door and then we came here for lunch. It was not crowded open tables everywhere and we were seated at two tables one for the littles the other for adults. The orders were placed and then the challenges started piling up. First challenge was the hour delay before we even saw food. With 7 kids under 8, that doesn't work. Then the food they brought was another families order that was pissed the server was so clueless. When the food finally arrived we had our order wrong and the most important food item the child's that had now been waiting 70 minutes didn't arrive. The start said there was a crash in the kitchen and at that point my wife took the kids the car. I was told I wouldn't be charged for the item that was missing only to have it show up in a box as we were leaving. The line of people waiting to get n were in for a shared discovery other families were murmuring as they left, we aren't coming back. Really disappointing for a fun day I do hope they turn it around, I don't normally write so negatively but our experience was terrible read more

Do not eat here! This restaurant has the worst service! My friend and I sat for 20 minutes before a server even came over to our table. We each ordered a drink and waited another 45 minutes. No drinks yet and our server was no where to be found! There were three or four girls walking around doing nothing. No bartender. No manager. Nobody running any food out. We were one out of four tables in the entire restaurant on a Saturday evening at 7pm. We waved somebody over and told her we were leaving because we have not gotten our drinks and our server disappeared. Her response was "OK bye then" with a smile. Wow! Talk about lazy! First time I went, I waited 15 minutes before any of the staff had come to check on me or even bring a water, which If it was busy I would understand, but that night there was a total of 3 other parties in there with 3 staff members. I decided to give it another chance tonight with the same problem. Maybe 3 parties in there with multiple staff members, waited 15 minutes without being seen and just left. Both times all of the staff were just cleaning paying no attention to anyone sitting there. I understand that in a dining establishment hygiene is necessary, but there is no reason for all 4 staff members to be cleaning with no one taking orders or rounding on parties. WOW! I reserved my birthday party here for 20 people, about 15 who stayed and actually ate. It was the perfect venue for having people drop in, the outdoor games were great so people could mingle, and the dinner itself was awesome! The food was delicious and everyone was very impressed with the quality and value. What I was most blown away by was the service - from the time we walked in, communication with the hosts and our server, Shannon, was great. Shannon was really on top of things and her timing was perfect - I had pre-ordered some sangria pitchers and appetizers and those came out at the perfect time, she took our dinner order at just the right time, it didn't take too long to come out, etc. That is an art! I just can't believe how flawless dinner - then later bowling - went, and how flexible Kings was with the people in our party coming in and out. My friends and I will definitely be back. Great new "from scratch" restaurant in cool springs! Finally somewhere fun for adults in Brentwood/Franklin that doesn't close by 9pm! :) Our party ordered a couple of Hollywood burgers (server mentioned their patties are ground beef, ribeye and brisket?) - they were amazing! Added bonus - I have a gluten allergy and was able to order a gluten free bun. They have gluten free pizza crusts as well (frozen prepackaged). The guys in our party got a pizza and a crispy buffalo chicken sandwich - all great! We also got the sriracha deviled eggs - good! I like that all of their items are very customizable! The appetizers had different sizes, salads were all available in side or dinner portions, lots of add ons and the sides were a mixture of classic (fries) and healthier options (Brussels or hummus and veggies). First time ever coming to this place I'm already a fan a plan on being a bi-weekly costumer. The wings here are delicious, crunchy and saucy on the outside, juicy on the inside. They have a great selection of drinks for any pallet and alcohol lover. The place has an excellent area of choices to either play, relax, or have a business meetings. Love music, bowling, pool, a large bar and patio adjacent to it. Absolutely loved this place! Such a cool vibe. I can't say the same for most bowling alleys. The food was awesome! We shared a plethora of apps for the table and we each got a drink! Mine was giant and super yummy!! All the cocktails sounded so unique and yummy! I'm very excited to get back and try them all!! As for the game area. I've dined at this establishment multiple times and i want to love it so bad but unfortunately every time is has let me down. The first time dining here it took our server at least 15 minutes to greet us once sat by the hostess. After taking our drink orders she never returned. The manger came over to take our food order and was not seen after that as well. Had to ask the host for someone to give us our check and that took 20 minutes in itself. The second time coming here i sat at the bar with another person and split apps and had drinks. Ordered my first beer and was told the keg kicked and would be just a minute. Bartender finally came back after chatting with another bartender for awhile to finally give me mine and said that actually it wasn't kicked .After the check was presented asked the bartender to put cash first and rest on the card. We were told they are not able to do that and put the entire bill on the credit card. I asked her to void the payment and she told me she would have to get a manager. Another 25 minutes went by until she returned and told us it was voided but she threw out the void split and couldn't print another. So we had to run both of our credit cards which was another whole process. Finally returned for another time today thinking maybe 3rd time is a charm because i really enjoy the cauliflower here. But nevertheless i was let down again. There were about 3 other tables in the restaurant and our food took quite a while to come out. I asked for my burger to be med rare and it came out well done. The egg on my sisters burger was completely raw. She asked for another one to be brought out and it was worse than the first. The rood runner had absolutely no personality and acted as if we were bothering her when asking for ketchup.I hate to write this review but i am terribly disappointed by the service and kitchen. Worst happy hour experience! My friends and I like to hang out on Thursday afternoons after work for happy hour. We are always open to new happy hour places so we decided to give this place a try. We usually order appetizers and drinks and visit and talk for awhile. Then we order entrees later. We made a reservation because we were worried about getting a table for our party of eight. We discovered there was no need for the worry when we arrived. The place was practically empty and never got half full the entire time we were there. When I looked at the photos on Yelp I saw one of the happy hour specials that included select wines and spirits. The happy hour menu on our table was for beer so I asked what happy hour wine specials they had. Our server informed us that they only had happy hour specials on beer and nothing else. I was disappointed and settled for beer. We ordered several appetizers for our table. These included focaccia cheese bread, crab rangoons, southwestern spring rolls, and buffalo chicken wontons. The appetizers were good and that's what earned the one star because the rest of the night just got worse. About 30 minutes after we finished our appetizers the server came over to our table and said we had to order food. I was very confused. We explained that we planned to hang out awhile. It's not like the place was busy and we were still enjoying drinks. She left and came back a few minutes later to say the manager said our food to drink ratio wasn't good whatever that means. We were still full from the appetizers and not ready for dinner. She said if we didn't pick more food then the manager would decide. REALLY? Is this a joke or a hidden camera show? It wasn't and sure enough food was sent to our table. We were less than happy. We were trying to understand what the problem was but I don't think we ever did. Three of the people at our table ordered entrees. As soon as the food arrived a storm hit and the power went out. They insisted everyone leave. The server asked if we could pay the bill. We asked what the total was. She couldn't give us any idea until the power came back on. We tried to wait out on the patio but they told us we couldn't be on the patio or inside and had to wait outside for the power to come back on. Are you kidding me? You want us to wait outside in pouring rain, lightning, and thunder until the power comes back on? That is what they wanted but that is not what happened. We put cash on the table hoping it would cover the bill and went across the street to a place that knows how to treat customers. We will never give this place any of our business again!! My friends and I went to see a show at the Whiskey Room last week to find they are no longer offering full menu service. Pete was working the door and recommended that we grab a table in the draft room and order something there. He promised to hold our seats for the show. Great advice! We sat down at the bar in the most comfortable stools you will ever sit in. Our bartender Craig was very helpful and recommended some beers and Cocktails for the girls. They were all fantastic. We ordered some appetizers and a couple of entrees to share. The cheese sticks were amazing, the best ever. The crab dip was delicious as well. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken and the steak tacos. Both were very good. When we were ordering, it was starting to get busy. We were afraid it would take a long time, but everything came out in time for us to eat and catch the show. As promised, Pete had our seats saved for us, and got us some drinks right away. We were blown away by the sound and atmosphere in there. While it was loud, everything sounded great. As a former professional musician, I know how hard it is to get good sound in such a small room. We were sitting by the sound engineer and he was busy monitoring the sound the whole time, making changes and monitoring the sound. Very rare in such a small room. Makes me want to get the band back together and book some gigs :) The room was pretty full and busy. They could have used at least one more bartender. Pete was going around table to table checking on everyone and he always made sure we had fresh beers. After the show was finished, we stayed around for karaoke. It was fun but we went back to the draft room and Craig make us couple more drinks. We finished the night out on the patio playing cornhole enjoying the evening. I'm so glad we took Pete's advice and had dinner in the draft room before the show. I will definitely be back to watch some football, the screens are amazing! Thanks! read more

I'm glad I didn't read all the bad reviews for this place before trying it out. My husband and I had a great experience there today! Perhaps we lucked out because they weren't busy, but the service was excellent. The red sangria and White Russian were both really yummy and the Cajun fries were some of the best fries I've ever had--perfectly cooked and very well-seasoned. The food tasted fresh and we didn't think it was overpriced at all. At some point someone from the kitchen came to our table and gave us free cups of mint chocolate chip ice cream! First thing I noticed was no hostess working. We were the 2nd guest in the restaurant for lunch and it took too long to receive our food. Ice tea is not fresh (taste cheap) but that's personal preference. I order the sonny burger and the egg was under cooked and also the sweet potato fries were under cooked. Seems like they are still working out the kinks. I will give it another try in the future but only 1. Our server seemed to disappear for long times. This is a great place to watch football games. Dropped in here for the second time on Sunday and while there was a brief wait to sit inside, there were plenty of tables open outside. There were two hostesses, a younger blonde girl and an older woman. The older one was incredibly rude to us when we arrived, harshly stating there was a wait almost in an accusing tone like she expected us to be upset with her over it. We are perfectly reasonable people so it was so odd. Thank God the younger girl jumped in to say the patio was open. She sat us and got the TV set to our game - she was great. Waitress was very busy but did a great job. Food was decent, not bad for bar food. We had some burgers and a wrap with fries. "Caliente" cocktail was more sweet than spicy. "Kale and Brussels sprouts" salad well... Didn't find any Brussels sprouts at all. And the dressing was a little heavy and mayonaise-y, making this more of one giant creamy coleslaw than a salad. Grilled chicken added on lacked inspiration. Pad Thai was tasty but bar-food-ised, I could taste peanut butter in the sauce. Southwest spring roll appetizer was served with house-made guac. Was that avocado pit supposed to be in there as part of the presentation? I'm not sure. Never seen that before. This is good food if you want to hang out and watch sports and/or bowl. There were - 2 - other tables in the entire place and service was SLOW. Really slow. 45 minutes to get a soggy pizza and Nashville hot chicken (which had no spice on it whatsoever). We told them that the pizza crust was really soggy/wet and they took it back with a promise to bring one out in 10 minutes. Meanwhile they brought me mozzarella sticks (not my favorite, but I appreciate the gesture). I was running late for getting back to work, so 5 minutes after they promised the replacement pizza would be out - and with no manager or server around - I had to go. NOPE. While in Franklin checking out the Civil War sites my party decided to grab some dinner. One of the people in our party is a vegetarian. The draft room had options for all of us. We ordered the Fondue Tomato Basil. It comes with grilled cheese, bread, macaroni and cheese bites and cheese sticks. This was fantastic. It really was a meal in itself. My husband got the jumalaya pasta which was delicious. I got the four cheese pasta with grilled chicken. I love pasta and the sauce on mine was really tasty. It wasn't to thick and sopped up well with the bread that comes with it. The Vegetarian had an Angry vegetarian burger with Nashville hot fries. He was very impressed with both. I had a French 75 and it was a nice addition to my meal. They have huge screens so you can watch the games. The wait staff was very friendly. If you're looking for fast food this is not the place.
